ARTDECO Beauty Highlights — Eyeshadow Base, Perfect Teint Concealer, Mascara, and Eyeliner

Another milestone for the Peachy Pink Sisters blog! There'll surely be more posts about skincare and makeup and all things pretty to come! :D :D :D

Since this is a very special time for our blog, we'll share a looooong post regarding one of my favorite recent purchases...

The ARTDECO Beauty Highlights — Eyeshadow Base, Perfect Teint Concealer, Mascara, and Eyeliner.

Bought this on sale at Beauty Bar last December for only Php 852.50. Regular price was Php 1,550.00. Almost 50% off! :D

So the box contains 4 items—an Eyeshadow Base, a Perfect Teint Concealer, a Mascara, and an Eyeliner.

It's indicated at the box what shade they are in:

Also on the box are other important details about the products such as how to use them and brief descriptions .

They also included the list of ingredients for each item along with their shelf life.

Let's see how well these items perform, shall we? I'll just put some quick thoughts for each product. :P

First off, the ARTDECO Eyeshadow Base.

Been thinking of trying a new one so how lucky was I to get one in this set? 

What I like about this base is that its shade is skin tone and it's not too sticky and not too creamy.

Here are pictures of my hand with my Shiseido eyeshadows with and without the base underneath:

Left one is without base and the right is with the eyeshadow base.

As you can see, the pigment really stick to the base making it bolder. Does it make the eyeshadow stay longer? Yes it does, especially on my oily lids. But I still occasionally experience some creasing.

Next is the ARTDECO Soft Eye Liner Waterproof 10.

The pencil looks sleek with the classy black look and the silver labels.

So here are some info that's on the pencil:

I was expecting so much from this because it says it's waterproof. I always preferred waterproof ones for my black eyeliners just because I usually apply them on my waterline.

It's not very black which is very disappointing. So I tried to smudge it after a minute. Maybe it's really long-lasting and it can redeem itself but...

...it easily smudges.

Very disappointing. Oh well. :P

And next is the ARTDECO All-In-One Mascara.

Packaging is also classy with the silver and black combo.

And it says it's volumizing and long-lasting. I'm so hoping that it really is. I wouldn't want another disappointment.

It does help volumize my lashes. The formula isn't heavy so my lashes stayed curled up and it didn't smudge! It's not the best I've tried but I still say this is a keeper!

And finally, the ARTDECO Perfect Teint Concealer in 3.

The classiest looking of all. Packaging makes it look so expensive... well, I consider ARTDECO quite pricey already for the stingy me.

And the box contained an illustration on tips where this concealer should be applied.

This is a twist up applicator so no need to dip your hands/brush on something.

Just twist it and you get the product straight on the brush so application is very easy.

The bristles are very soft too and it doesn't shed nor go to a different direction.

It has light coverage so it doesn't help in covering my pimple marks. It does help a lot in brightening my under eyes and areas that need extra brightness as indicated on the illustration.

I use this on top of my liquid foundation then set it with loose powder. I haven't encountered any caking with this. I guess this is my favorite item among the bunch. :)

So I guess that's that for our 1,000th post. I do hope this seemed interesting enough. :)
