Peachy Pink Sisters 2nd Birthday Giveaway

 Hello everyone!!

Our blog just had it's second birthday last week! Yayyy! ♥

Oh how time flies... We remember it was just some days ago when my Dawn and Trace randomly named the blog Peachy Pink Sisters because they can't think of anything else.

Last year's anniversary wasn't celebrated because that was our hiatus days. Haha! The sisters were so busy with thesis and such... so for this year, we want it GRAND!

So the sisters prepared something BIG for our ever-so-loyal-and-beautiful readers!

Hooorah! Girly logo, huh? ♥

And because we're unemployed (ouch), we looked for ways to make this grand celebration happen... And thank heavens we found these lovely sponsors! ♥

They generously agreed to our proposal and sent us these awesome items to be won by our lovely readers! ♥

A set of Chocolate Sugaring and 6 sets of their classic Sugaring kits from Strip It! Hair Removal Sugaring!
Dawn is acually a big fan of these. Read our review here.

A braided necklace and a braided bracelet and 2 printed wallets from Chimera Online Shop.
We just love their items! Have you seen the camera lens cup? It's just too cute!

3 Body Mists from Comfort Scents Online.
We love these because of their floral scents! Also check out their other items! Indulge your sense of smell!

and finally,
A complete hair coloring kit from HBC.
You must know by now that we are fans of HBC. Just check out our reviews of their products!

So let's go on to the giveaway!

there will be 8 winners for this giveaway!
Why 8? Because 8 is Dawn's favorite number, divide it by 2 (age of our blog) is equal to 4 (Liz's favorite number)! Haha! Nah... We just want this giveaway to be as grand and awesome as we could! ♥

Liz Shops at Saizen for the First Time

 Hello!

Yesterday, Liz and I went to Robinsons Manila to go shop at Saizen store.
It's actually her first time to go to a Saizen store and she already has something in mind to purchase.

Shopping is just fun! And what makes it more enjoyable is that you can afford the items you want! Just like in Saizen where all items are only Php85! :P

So here are the items we bought starting off with Liz's purchases:

The main reason we went there is for these.
Nose Packs to remove those annoying blackheads.
I actually have both of these but Liz wants some for herself so she can use it anytime, plus, she wants to try it with her sibs! She'll do a review on these sometime so do wait for it! ;)

 A little cute lunchbox!
She would have bought those cute bear shaped ones but she needed something that's not bulky to fit her bag for school. She'll start to bring lunch to school to avoid spending (she's saving money to get front row seats for Bigbang's concert here in Manila). Har har!

And of course I bought a few items for myself as well.

An imitation perfume of Chanel no. 5.
Why do you ask?
I just like the smell. Haha! I vaguely remember what Chanel No.5 really smells like. I've smelled it once when I was at my aunt's house in LA. But this one smells nice so I just took one. It's only Php85 anyway! :P

An eyeliner duo. It has a dark brown shade at one side and a shimmery white one at the other end. I desperately needed a new dark brown brow pencil and I don't think I will be shopping again soon. And this one has 2 shades already in it! I tested them and the dark brown one seems long lasting. ♥

And finally some non-beauty related stuff.
A pack of erasers for my artsy fartsy stuff and a simple calculator requested by my bro so he can use it for his PNLE today! Goodluck, bro!

That's all we bought... because that's the only thing we can really afford... I wanted cute notebooks and pencil cases pa!. I also wanted to buy an outfit for our cute doggy but the cute outfits didn't come with his size. Awww. :(

BTW, our bestfriend, Rica, who is now living at the US just sent us gifts!

Victoria's Secret Fragrance Mists and Body Butters!!!

Yayyyy! ♥
Thank you very much, Rica!

Have you went shopping to Saizen lately?
What do you usually buy there? :)

Cheers!

MAC Crushed Metallic Pigments in Pearl, Rose Light, Spicy Smoke, and Roasted Chestnut

 Hi Dearies!

You know what's fun about having a friend who doesn't use too much eye makeup and who happens to have kikay aunts that give her expensive makeup?

You get to use those gifts! Haha!
Of course, I can't really keep 'em. But at least she let me play with them and get first dibs! ♥
 Yayyyy!

That's just the case of what I will be sharing with you on this post!
Liz gave me the awesome opportunity to try out some of her new makeup.

With all the eye shadows to choose from, I picked these little cuties to try out...

I've always wanted to try MAC pigments. I always see them in various makeup tutorials. ♥

The shades are:
MAC Crushed Metallic Pigments in Pearl, Rose Light, Spicy Smoke, and Roasted Chestnut

A container actually houses 2 shades. The 2 shades are actually easy to blend together. The top one is lighter while the bottom is darker.

And here's a group swatch:

From Left to Right:
Pearl, Rose Light, Spicy Smoke, and Roasted Chestnut

Here my individual descriptions per shade:

First off...

 Top one is Pearl.

As the name suggests, it's pearl-like white.
I usually use this at the inner corners of my eyes. :P

 Rose Light

It's a pretty light pink metallic shade. Probably the most wearable for everyday among the shades. :P

And for the second container:

Spicy Smoke

I actually thought this would be like maroon-ish in color... but I was so wrong! It's red!
I'm not really a fan of red eye shadows because... it just doesn't look great on everyone.
But I think I managed to make it wearable in one of my previous EOTD's. Which I also posted some pictures at the bottom of this post.

 And finally...

 Roasted Chestnut

It's of deep brown metallic shade. My favorite shade actually. Super nice to use in doing brown smokey eyes. ♥

As mentioned above, here's the pictures of the EOTD I made using these crushed metallic pigments:

And here's the rest of my face:

I super love the MAC Crushed Metallic Pigments because they are super pigmented! With a really good eyeshadow primer, it can really last the whole day! Just make sure to tap off excess pigments when applying it! ♥

Cheers!

Review : Missha M Shiny BB Cream

 Hello beautiful people!

Time for the much awaited BB cream review! ♥

So what's our BB cream for today's review?

None other than the...

 Missha M Shiny BB Cream
SPF27 / PA++

What's written on the tube?

"M Shiny B.B. Cream contains pearl powder to provide radiance to your skin and realize glowing look as a pearl-based B.B. Cream. It's moisturizing and antioxidant ingredients protect your skin and provide natural glow while evenly applied with a soft pearl touch."

And here's some info from their website:

Everything you love about Missha’s M BB Cream now with a pearled powder component. Containing Diamond Powder, Platinum and other jewelry ingredients provide a natural looking sheen without the heaviness or oily feel.
- Sun protection
- ATC complex, patent ingredient, protects and soothes your skin.
- Containing lotus flower extract, astaxanthin and jewelry ingredients such as diamond powder and platinum, it protects the skin.

And here's the list of ingredients:

Water ,Cyclomethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl, Methoxycinnamate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Sodium Chloride, Mica, Hexyl Laurate,Talc, Polyglyceryl-4,Isostearate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Silica, Dimethicone/Vinyl, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Iron Oxides, Beeswax, Sorbitan Olivate, Nelumbium Speciosum Flower Extract, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Asparagus Lucidus Root Extract, Tussilago Farfara (Coltsfoot) Flower Extract, Disteardimonium, Hectorite, Iron Oxides, Calcium Stearate, Methylparaben, Chlorphenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Diamond Powder, Iron Oxides, Laminaria Japonica, Extract, Fragrance, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Coral Powder, Pearl Powder, Propylene, Carbonate, Disodium EDTA, Amethyst Powder ,Tourmaline, Triethoxycaprylylsilane

Phew! That was long! LOL

A 50ml tube costs Php1380.00 from Missha stores in the Philippines.
But mine is only 20ml. Bought it online months ago.

The tube is very hygienic. It has a sort of like a stopper on the cap to avoid leaking.
The tube is actually soft so squeezing out the product is very easy. But the small whole makes squeezing the product out very controllable so you get the desired amount.

Here's the product on my hand

It's not yellowish but not beigey either so it's quite safe on my skin. It doesn't make me look like i have grayish skin. :P
It has a scent too. Not a fan of it but it is tolerable. You don't really smell it unless you apply a generous amount.

Here's my hand when I blended the product.
The product is a little thicker than some BB creams I've tried but blends quite easily. But it's not as thick as liquid foundations!
This never got my skin irritated but it doesn't have oil control properties.

Here's a before and after shot of my face when I apply the product,
Eeew at my pimple marks! Haha.

Anyway, it didn't give much coverage. I guess it's between light-medium. The shade is lighter than my skin. It brightened my face and also hid the redness on my skin.
I don't really think it gives a pearly effect. It looks dewy because of all the glitters.
It really has a very glittery finish. Just look at the photo below.

Zoom in in the picture and my face is sooooo sparkly like a fairy princess. But seriously, it's like a glitter bomb just exploded.
The glitters are quite fine so i use a very matte finishing powder to lessen the 'glitter-ness.'
It actually looks better after a matte powder is applied.

LIKES:

♥ Has SPF 27
♥ Brightens face
♥ Easy to blend
♥ Locally Available
♥Love the tube packaging

DISLIKES:

• I don't like the super glittery finish
• Quite expensive for me
• No oil control

Will I buy again?
Probably not. I don't like having a sparkly face. I already got an oily face and adding glitters won't help me avoid having my face all shiny. I just bought it because I was curious about the "dewy" look. I still think the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream is better.

Have you tried this BB Cream yet?
What do you think about it?

Cheers!

Beks Gets a Makeover

 Hi everyone!

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine asked me to do a makeover on her.
I'm not really sure why but I love doing makeovers so I immediately agreed.

Here's a photo of the result:

Meet Angela.
We call her Bekay or Beks. :P
It was actually my second time to put makeup on her.

See how excited she was for the makeover? :P
 Anna helped curling her hair.

Here's a before and after picture.
I'm surrounded by pretty friends! ♥
We really didn't have any idea on what look to do so I just went with what I do the most, the Glam look!

Here are more pictires of her!

 MAKEUP USED:

Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream in Natural
Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer
Etude House Drawing Eye Brow in Brown
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
Shu Eumura Eye Lash Curler
Urban Decay Book of Shadows III : I♥NYC
Maybelline Impact Express Smooth Felt Liner
Elizabeth Arden Eye Pencil in Smoky Black
Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Chino
MAC Sculpt and Shape in Bone Beige
Maybelline Expert Wear Blush in Gentle Rose
LipFusion Lipgloss in First Crush

This makeover totally brought a different side of her.
Beks is actually very down-to-earth, simple and out-going... well, as far as I know. ;)
It's a bit weird for me seeing her so made up! Haha!

Anyway, what do you think of this makeover?

Cheers!
