Review: Majolica Majorca Skin Lingerie Pore Cover

Hey lovelies!

I have mentioned before in my review in EH's Dr. Oil Solution Shine Free Dual Primer that I will try and explore other makeup primers... so...

TADAAAA!!!

I got a new one to review! :D
Not really new since I got this waaay back in December. I just didn't have the time to review it. But I've used it several times.

It's the Majolica Majorca Skin Lingerie Pore Cover
A tube is around Php650.00

So here are some information about the product:
(these pictures are screenshots from their website)

First of all, I'm a fan of Majolica Majorca's package design. I have a princess complex and if you browse their branches and products, you'll see how princessy-looking their items are!
This primer is no exception. I like the gold design and cursive fonts on it. I also like that it is in a tube form so it's not bulky and easy to carry around in your vanity kit!

Besides the appearance, I like that the tube's opening is very thin that it is easy to control the amount of product you will use.

See? You can put as little or as much as you want with ease!

The product is very silky and can be easily spread on the skin. ♥

The product is kind of tinted. Sort of fits the fair skin tone. But it doesn't really matter since once spread, it gets translucent enough. Just put an appropriate amount like a cute pea shape. :P
And I don't think it can conceal pimple scars (at least mine) since it's not tinted enough but it does somehow conceal redness.

The product's finish is matte. I like that since I have oily skin and prefer my skin without shine. :P

And about their promise on covering my pores?
It did! Not entirely though, but it still made it smaller! It covered my pores better than the EH's Dr. Oil Solution Shine Free Dual Primer. I super love Majolica Majorca products. With this primer + my Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover Foundation, I don't have to worry with my huge pores being too obvious. ♥

I just wish that it has oil control like my previous primer

So what I like about it:

Covers pores
Silky on the skin
Matte finish
Affordable
Available Locally
Has SPF 20
Love the packaging

What I don't like about it:

Not necessarily "not like it" but I wish it has oil control like my other primer. It would have been my HG primer if it did!

So that's it for the review! Hope it's helpful!

And btw, Majolica Majorca Philippines is now 1 year old!
Yayyy!

And for those who will go to SM Mall of Asia tomorrow, March 17, you can check out their branch at the department store for an exclusive consultation and makeover!

For more info, just check out their Facebook page or website.
And if you want to visit their branches in the Philippines, here's the list.

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. I am jealous that you actually like this product. I had hopes which aren't even high yet it failed miserably for me. It basically did nothing, not even for my makeup. :-\

  3. Pammy - that's very unfortunate... Maybe it depends on the skin type? Whoever is "hiyang" with the product?

Thiamere - Aww... Good thing there are other good primers out there that aren't silicone-based. :)

  4. Interesting product. I haven't tried anything from Majolica pa. Planning on the Lash King kasi parang everyone loves it. Hehe. Kaso parang it's a bit expensive for my liking. Hehe. There's an ELF Face primer na parang I wantt to try... :P

  5. I haven't tried the Lash king nor the ELF primer. I'm loving my mascara now so I won't be buying any new ones. And probably when I finish any of the 2 primers I have right now will I consider trying a new primer. :P

  6. I like the product too! it worked well on my skin. In my product review I even took pictures of my skin before and after I used the product and it really made my pores look finer.
