AcneCare Anti-Acne Complex

Hello everyone!

A couple of months ago, I was contacted by Erick of AcneCare to try out their products. I wasn't aware of what it was before so I looked it up and read that it was an anti-acne product in capsule form that your body intakes to have better skin. As a person with acne-prone skin, I grabbed the opportunity to try it out. I wasn't scared to try it since it is being sold to Mercury Drug stores and Watsons.

I received a package containing bottles of AcneCare a couple of months ago and I've taken it for more than a month now. But before I tell you my opinions, here are some information about AcneCare so you'll know what it is all about.

Your skin gets its nourishment from within, so why are you treating it from the outside?

AcneCare: Clinically Proven 44% Less Acne in Two Weeks

Vida Nutriscience has launched a revolutionary new way to treat acne: AcneCare oral anti-acne supplement wherein all you have to do is put the pill on your mouth and drink a glass of water and you're sure that the active ingredients in AcneCare is being delivered to your skin with your own body's efficient delivery system: the blood stream. AcneCare gets to the the hard to reach places in your body like back, neck, butt, back of thighs and even inside your nose.

AcneCare is the first oral pill for acne in the Philippines. What makes it so revolutionary is not just because it is an oral medication but also because AcneCare combines three potent skin Actives to bring you: Acne3 Complex.

  • Lactoferrin is naturally produced by the body as part of its immune mechanism. The highest concentration can be found in mother’s first milk or colostrum. Lactoferrin has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-allergic and even anti-cancer properties. Increasing the amount of Lactoferrin in your diet targets the causes of acne from the inside: no bacteria, no virus, no allergies. You only get smooth, baby soft skin.

  • LinumLife is extracted from flax, a plant rich in lignans. When ingested, LinumLife is converted into our body’s own lignans which controls the level of the male hormone testosterone. Lower levels of testosterone mean less sebum or oil on the skin surface.
  • Zinc, when taken orally, increases the body’s production of collagen, boosts the immune system and controls the levels of male hormones. Zinc helps repair broken skin, controls premature aging, prevents breakouts and lessens oil-production.
These active ingredients are clinically tested and proven to reduce blemishes, redness and oiliness. In as little as two weeks, you get 44% less blemishes, 71% less in 4 weeks and 95% less in 8 weeks. This means that with as little as two bottles of AcneCare, you are on your way to becoming acne-free! With continued use of AcneCare you get Visibly Clear, Touchably Smooth, AcneCare Skin!

Quite intriguing, right?

So I received a total of 4 bottles. I'm currently almost done with my second.
Each bottle contains 30 capsules so a bottle will last for 15 days since I drink 2 capsules per day.

Details on the bottle

Details on the bottle

The capsule is a bit big but still easy to swallow with the aid of drinking liquids like water.

For the past month that I have been taking AcneCare capsules, I didn't get any negative effects. Which I am very thankful for because I rarely take any oral pill that is not prescribed by a doctor.

For the positive effects, it seems that my face looks brighter than usual. Like it looks 'glowing' or healthier. And the scars on my face and back healed faster too.
For the acne reduction part, I still find it the same as before and my skin is still oily as before. I just really hope that it improves my skin on these areas on the next few weeks since these are my main concerns.
I don't really have problem on redness though so I can't say anything on that claim.

The price is Php 885.00 per bottle (30 capsules).
AcneCare is available in Watsons and all Mercury Drugstores nationwide.

  1. I got sent a few bottles too and I've been taking it regularly for about two weeks now. I don't really have an acne problem, but I was hoping it would keep pimples at bay at least? Haha. Sadly, I still managed to get one the other day...hmm.

Oh well, fingers crossed until I finish a bottle at least!

    1. I only took the 4 bottles (and that was in 2012) and didn't buy them again. The effects were still the same. Brighter skin and it did healed the pimples and dark scars faster. But I still get pimples and blackheads and my oily skin was still oily as before.

    1. I tried their soap! So far so good naman. ika nga eh, it takes time nga lang para makita mo yung effectiveness.
Sobrang sensitive balat ko plus oil kaya grabe ako magkatigyawat. Para nga siyabg galaxy sa sobrang dami. 😁

Bihira nalang ako magkatigyawat tapos yung mga dark spots ko nawala.
Try mo. Wala nan mawawala. XS
