Hortaleza Professional Hair Spa Treatment

 Hello everyone!

Crazy weather we've been having lately, huh? One day it's so hot then the next there's flood outside your house! Haha!

Anyway, since I have all the time in the world right now (unlike Liz who can't even sleep because of all the exams she has for this week), I would like to share with your the stuff that I've been using this whole month of July on my hair.

I really have to start taking care of my hair. I usually just use shampoo and conditioner everyday and nothing else yet I do harmful stuff to it like getting it permed, colored and use different products on it to style it. Not to mention the glaring sun that my hair has to endure when I go outside (I don't wear hats or caps nor do I usually bring an umbrella). See what my hair goes through?? And of course these things gave my hair problems. It got dry and I also suffer from falling hair. Boohoo. :(

So off I went to the mall and looked for something that can help my hair. I have limited budget since I don't have work nor allowance right now so I can't go to a salon for treatment.

I stopped by HBC, because it's one place to get affordable items that I know works for me since I've been using their products for years now. There were so many products to choose from. There were hot oil treatments with henna and some have Coco milk or Black Pelan. So I asked for their best treatment for my hair and the SA (I forgot her name, sorry!) recommended this!

Product description, Directions for use, Ingredients and Precautionary advice are located at the back of the container.

I bought the big tub. It's 500g and it costs between Php200-300. Quite affordable, right??

I've been using the product once a week for 4 weeks now.
I follow the instructions and place it under a heating cap which my sis, Tracy, bought years ago (Yayyy! It still works! But I don't know where she bought it). The product smells nice and  has a cooling effect on your scalp when applied which is kind of relaxing for me.
The results are very good. I don't think it made my hair uber gorgeous in the 4 weeks I've been using it but it really moisturized it and gave it more volume especially right after you rinse it off and dried it.

My hair now - moisturized and volumized!

So this is a pretty good product since it delivers and is very budget friendly. I'd recommend it to people who would like to pamper their hair, especially those who suffer from damaged hair, and who's also looking for something affordable! And if you just wanna try them out but don't want a big tub, they have it in 20g sachets! :)

So have you tried this out yet?
Do you use intensive hair treatment at home too?
Any recommendation of other brands I can try?

Cheers!
 DAWN

    1. According to the directions, it has to be wet but towel dried. So I guess you can consider it being slightly wet?

  12. Hello.. ginagamit mo parin ba yung treatment? Have you tried using hortaleza keratin hot oil treatment with mango and cocoa butter? Hindi pa kasi ako sigurado kung alin sa dalawa yung gagamitin ko. Sana matulungan mo ko. Thanks :) -Jeanette

    1. I haven't been using this for more than a year now (I rarely go to places with HBC branches na kasi). I would love to buy again though. I haven't tried the Keratin Hot Oil with mango and cocoa butter yet but I am willing to try and compare them. :)
