Review : Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer

 Hello beauties!

Time for another review! ♥

I wasn't really looking for a particular item while browsing the Etude House branch at SM North... I just wanted to buy something so I can try out something new.

What convinced me to try this particular one is it's scent.
I was swatching it and smelled it and it just smells fantastic! I had to get one! Haha!

 Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer

Some product info from the website:
7g Liquid concealer formulated with essence to supply moist, spot coverage of facial flaws with a tip applicator.

This product comes in 2 shades.
I bought shade #2.
A tube is worth Php298.00.

It is a liquid concealer and it comes in a little tube form.

It also has a doe tip wand applicator.

Here's the concealer in one swatch. Quite thick isn't it?
And it just smells awesome! Oh wait... I said that already. :P

And here it is when blended on my hand. It blended easily. Lessened the bluishness and redness of my veins in my hand.

Here are before and after shots of my dreaded eye bags. LOL
It didn't give the coverage I would have preferred but it still did lessen the redness. :P

And how does it do with dark marks caused by pimples?
Well, here are before and after shots too.
It didn't entirely cover the dark spot as well. :P

It has decent staying power and doesn't cake on me even if my face oils up. Though the coverage (I think my MAC Studiofix liquid foundation has more coverage) isn't what I want my concealers to be like, it is quite buildable. :)

So to summarize:

LIKES:
Blends well
Shades are very suited for Asian skin
Smells gooooood
Affordable for only Php298!
Locally Available
Lessens redness on skin
Easy to carry around
Applicator can hold decent amount of product
Buildable
smells goood! Oh wait... I said that already again! lol

DISLIKES:
Only available in 2 shades
I prefer heavier coverage for my concealers

 Will I buy again?
Probably not. It's good but I still prefer more coverage and I still want to try out other concealers. It's a nice under eye concealer though! Very light on skin and it doesn't cake!

Have you tried this product out?
Any liquid concealers that you can suggest?

Cheers!
