Urban Decay Book of Shadows III : UD ♥ NYC

Hey lovely readers!

As most of you might have read in my previous posts, I LOVE eye shadows.
Especially the colorful ones. I love mixing and experimenting with them. I feel like these are my paint tubes and my face is my canvas.

Today I will share with you my current favorite palette.
This isn't something new... the brand already released newer versions actually. But I still find the set of colors in this palette better. :)

It's none other than...

Urban Decay Book of Shadows III : UD ♥ NYC

Urban Decay eye shadows are, for me, probably some of the best out there. They are very pigmented. Each stays true to the color you see when applied. Even without the primer, it's still as bold and striking (but of course it still looks better and stays longer with an eye primer). :)

I know that the infamous Naked Palette is what most women want, I still prefer their book of shadows palettes because I just love colors! Neutrals everyday is just boring. Haha! Plus, just look at the packaging!!

Being an advertising student, I appreciate a great product package design when I see one. And I find this palette sooooo beautiful. It's already a great artwork! The pop-ups are gorgeous with the different landmarks and other stuff you see in New York City. It also has a mirror and some cute lights! ♥♥♥

So here's the palette:
(Just open in a new tab or click the pictures to zoom in)

It consists of 16 eye shadows, 2 pencil eye liners and a mini Primer Potion. :)

And here are the swatches:

Very pigmented, right?
I'm so much in-love with it! ♥♥♥

And here's a swatch of the pencil liners:

I also love these eyeliners. If ever I find someone selling a set for a low price, I'd buy them!

It's so sad that UD isn't available in local stores yet. Good thing there are online sellers. :)

So what do you think of the UDNYC palette?

Cheers,
DAWN

  8. I ♥ UD! Their products are a little pricey but hey, it's worth it. The quality + the packaging? whats not to love? I haven't tried their 24/7 glide on pencils though but I've read a lot of good reviews about it too..I hope to get one someday :)
