Review : Ziaja PhytoAktiv Cleansing Milk

Hi everyone!

I was able to score another good deal at Beauty Bar last September. Check this one out:

Ziaja Phyto Aktiv Cleansing Milk

I was able to bag this item for only PhP 137.25 from its original price of PhP 250.00.
Awesome deal, right? Cleansing our skin is a must so I think that it's smart to get this while it was on sale. :D

The info about this product is provided at the back of the bottle.
You can also check out the website but the content is pretty much the same as what is written on the bottle.

I haven't tried much products from the brand. What I've read from its website is that it's a Polish brand that creates pharmaceutical and cosmetic products using natural ingredients. Ziaja's goal is to provide high-quality products in competitive prices for its consumers and they make products from facial skin care, toothpaste to feminine wash and hair care.
It all sounds so good... who doesn't want good quality AND affordable stuff?

Anyway, let's get on with the review of the cleansing milk.

The packaging is simple. I like the pink with white combination. It gives me the feeling that it's clean and serious but still has a girly vibe. The bottle can be easily squeezed to get the product out. The cap seals well so I don't experience any spills even when I accidentally drop the bottle.

The scent is pretty nice... like baby shampoo. The consistency is thick at first glance but as soon as you massage it, it becomes like a very light lotion.

As mentioned on the label, this also acts as a makeup remover. What I do is I massage this on my face first then wipe it off with a cotton pad. I then do it a second time but wash it all off with warm water afterwards. That should do the trick of removing the makeup I was wearing for the day.

What about the waterproof eye makeup? Good news, it can completely remove them (some may need a little more effort though)! Bad news? Unfortunately, I experience some stinging sensation when I get some of the product in my eye. :/

I've been using this for more than a month now and it doesn't leave my face dry when I use it. No irritations nor breakouts also.

What about the "strengthening treatment for skin with dilated capillaries part"? Well, I was a bit confused about it at first because I don't think I've encountered products that has that property. So I googled about this. First thing to clarify is what dilated capillaries are and from this website, it says:
Dilated capillaries is a common skin disorder also known as spider veins, thread veins, vascular blemishes.
I know some people who has this, some near the eyes while there are some on the cheeks. I don't think I have very visible dilated capillaries (I think) so I can't really say if it does any difference or if the product's mild enough not to damage/irritate the capillaries further. So in short, I can't really comment on this part. :P

Anyway, to summarize:

What I LIKE:
- Affordable
- Can remove makeup, even waterproof ones
- Smells pleasant
- Packaging
- Locally available at Beauty Bar
- Didn't cause any irritations nor breakouts
- Doesn't dry the skin

What I DON'T LIKE:
- Stings my eyes when some of the product get in them

Will I repurchase? I think this product is really good, especially when I consider the price, but since it stings my eyes, I'll have to pass. I wear waterproof eye makeup a lot and I hate having to deal with the stinging part when I remove my makeup when I get home. But I still recommend it if you don't use eye makeup or if you will just use it as a cleanser. :)

And that's all for this review! :)

Cheers,

Review : Ciracle Anti-Blemish Teatree Wash

Hi loves!

The traffic is getting worse and worse nowadays...
I'm one of the few people who are fortunate enough to live near my workplace so I don't have to endure the horrible traffic daily. I do know many who do and I can't even imagine how tired one must feel when they finally get home after hours of getting stuck in traffic.

In a different situation, I've experienced being so tired due to lack of sleep and tight deadlines that I just want to crash on my bed and sleep the whole week. BUT there is one thing that is very, very important to me that I have to gather all my remaining energy and fight all the tiredness and temptation to hug my pillows to sleep just so I can do it and that is to cleanse my skin.

No matter how tired you are, keep your skin clean. With all the pollution and dirt we encounter everyday, germs will surely cause unfavorable things to us like allergic reactions or pimples. I made cleansing a habit and I think everyone can develop that too. If I'm too tired and can't take a shower anymore, I get a damp towel and just wipe away.

It's also important to clean the face really well since it's the most exposed part of our body. I also use makeup and I have oily skin so dirt really sticks to my face which lead to breakouts. Besides using a makeup remover, I also use a good facial wash to completely rid of all the dirt and makeup off my face. I make sure that when I apply my toner, there's no trace of these on my cotton pad. Right now I am using the Ciracle Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup and then use this afterwards...

Ciracle Anti-Blemish Teatree Wash
PhP 990.00

This was actually sent to me for review along with the Deep Cleansing Oil. They've since been a tandem in keeping my face clean when I get home.

When I received the product back in September, seeing as that it's anti-blemish made me excited about it. I have acne-prone skin so this is something I would definitely check out if ever I were to browse their stores. Facial wash is a product that is a must for me so finding a good one is important and I trust Ciracle when it comes to skin care because I have used quite a number of products from them that I've really loved.

So far, I've been using this for a month and I will share with you my review later on in this post.

First, let's see the product description and its claims...

Info on the packaging:

Additional info from their website:

Mild and soft component helps you cleansing of any makeup residue or skin dirt.
Contains Surfactant with low irritation, it helps your skin to turn into clear and healthy looking one.

Refresh your skin with cooling effect from the best cleanser for acne prone skin.
Acne is often caused by the excessive amount of oil on your skin.
Start treating them with proper care! Clear your dead skin cells and turns it into flawless state.

As one degree of skin temperature rises, sebum creation increase by 10~20%.
Teatree wash completesly cleanse out the pores while leaving adequate amount of moisture on skin.

It comes in this clear pump plastic bottle. I like my skincare with simple designs because it gives me the impression of cleanliness. The pump makes dispensing easier and you can control the amount you get very well.

The scent is not noticeable actually. No citrusy, floral, nor herby scent. The consistency is pretty much like liquid soaps but not as creamy. When rubbed with water, it foams up well.

I usually use this with a facial cleansing brush and massage it on my face and rinse it off with lukewarm water. I do have to say that I sort of do not follow the instructions all the time... massaging my face with the cleanser for 10 minutes takes too long for me so sometimes I rinse it off within 2-5 minutes. :P

I've been using it for a month now and I'm satisfied with its performance. It cleanses my face from dirt and the remaining makeup that my makeup remover missed. It got rid of excess oil very well but still kept my skin well-hydrated (for an anti-blemish wash, that's something good since it doesn't strip your face from all the oils that can dry up the face).

But did it help get rid of my acne? Well, so far I can't really be 100% sure that it did help... You see, before I used this product, it was days before I had my period and my skin was all crazy with all the breakouts. I've never experienced that kind of breakout before. But after my period, and this was the time that I've been using this, the acne appearance lessened and the ones I had healed rather quickly. Do take note that I use other anti-acne products so the healing and prevention can't all be credited to this but I could say that this might have helped in the process. My skin is back to normal with occasional pimple appearance every now and then.

And to summarize...

What I LIKE:

- Effectively cleans my face from excess oil, dirt, and traces of makeup
- Doesn't dry my face
- I believe it somehow helped in healing and preventing breakouts
- Barely noticeable scent
- One pump is enough
- Locally available
- Packaging

What I DON'T LIKE
- The price is a bit steep for me for a cleansing wash

Do I recommend it? Yes. I think the product is worth a try, especially to those with similar skin types as me. :)

And that's my review! If you're interested to learn more about Ciracle, you can visit their website and Facebook Page. :)

Borghese Fango Active Mud Mask for Face and Body

Hey loves!

It's the weekend!!! I actually have classes during Saturdays but it was announced that my class today will not push through because of the thunderstorm. Yay for suspension of classes! Haha! This happiness that I have whenever classes were suspended never left me since I was in grade school. LOL

Anyway, since I'll be home all day, it's time to PAMPER myself! One of the things I do is to apply face mask for my skin to feel smooth, hydrated, clean, etc. depending on what mask I use. Every Saturdays, I tend to use mud masks to better clean my pores after a stressful week of going to the office. One of my favorite mud masks I've used is this one that my sister sent me as a gift...

Borghese Fango Active Mud Mask for Face and Body

I got a second hand! Haha! My sister bought it for herself but gave it to me after a few tries. I dunno why she gave this to me... and I haven't asked why. LOL And I'm not familiar with this brand but when I read reviews about this product, it seems so goooood! So I was so excited to use it.

Anyway, here's some info from the website:

Product Description:
Our signature and classic Fango Active is a one-and-only, must-have, mineral-rich mud. It's a sensational step beyond everyday clean. Derived from traditional Tuscan treatments, its deep-down purifying power purges and minimizes pores. It exfoliates and helps surface cell turnover, imparting clarity. It hydrates and firms reducing fine lines and providing smooth, toned texture. Infused with Sweet Almond and Avocado Oils, this mud detoxifies and does away with dull skin, leaving skin radiant and refreshed.

And here's a product description from www.beauty.com:

Gives devitalized, over-tense skin a new surge of vitality with clear, youthful radiance.

Moisturizes and relaxes tired lines. Helps firm and elasticize body skin. Leaving skin in a receptive state for further Borghese treatment.

Our exclusive mineral-enriched mud mask is sourced from Tuscany's volcanic hills. It energizes and nourishes skin cells on the face and body. Special absorbing action unclogs pores, eliminates dead skin cells and detoxifies impurities. Skin feels comfortably hydrated, firmer and invigorated.

Key Ingredients:
Italian Mud - Provides mineral nourishment and special absorbing action which rids skin of impurities.
Acqua di Vita® Complex - Revitalizes skin, reducing the signs of aging.
Geranium, Lavender and Peppermint Oils - Natural botanicals that stimulate and improve skin tone.
Avocado and Sweet Almond Oils - Moisturize and soften skin

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Bentonite (CI 77004) (CI 77004), Propylene Glycol, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond Oil), Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado), Sea Salt (Maris Sal), Fragrance (Parfum), Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen Amino Acids, Adenosine 5' Triphosphate Disodium Salt (ATP), Mineral Salt (Potassium Silicate), Polysorbate 20, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Cellulose Gum, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Trisodium EDTA, Talc, Fuller's Earth (Solum Fullonum) (Solum Fullonum), Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Citonellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Linalool, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Chromium Oxide Green (CI 77289), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

Directions:
Apply generously (about one quarter inch thick) to clean skin (face, neck and/or body). Avoid lip and eye area.
Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly using sponge or washcloth.

There also a very short description on the jar. :P

And can I just mention how awesome the jar is?? Definitely gonna recycle this and maybe reuse this as a candy jar or something...

Consistency is really thick and I feel a stingy sensation whenever I apply it. It dries like clay if you leave it long enough but follow the directions to let it stay for only 10 minutes (although I do let it stay for 15 minutes). My sis didn't give me the sponge that it should come with but it can be removed by only water and massaging. I use the mask before taking a shower so that I remove it while I take a shower so that it won't be messy. I don't want mud all over my sink. :P And oh, I've only used this on my face and not on my body yet.

So how does this work? Well... it's SUPER AWESOME! It clears my pores from excess oil and dirt... it really sucks out the oil but not make my skin feel dry. I think it helps exfoliate too because I don't see the flaky bits of the zits I dried out. My face looks brightened after I wash the mask off. It's just brilliant! But brilliance costs a little extra I guess... a 500g jar is around $60-70!

Have you tried Borghese Fango Active Mud Mask for Face and Body yet? What's your favorite mud mask?

My 2015 Summer Skincare

 Hey dears!

The summer has been a pain for me. Yes, I don't like summer. I don't like swimming in a pool, not even at a beach (I'll just probably take photographs and build a sand castle then go back in my room). I just don't like outdoor activities, but what I hate most is the heat! I'm always sweating and for some reason, my skin reacts badly when it's summer... I get breakouts! Ugh.

But for this year, I was prepared! My skin was much better compared to previous years, which is great considering the temperature for this summer is higher. Anyway, I'll share with you the products I'm currently using. :)

For cleaning, I use these cleansers on my face.

I use this for cleansing in the morning:
Burt's Bees Cleanser (click the product name for my review)

And before sleep, I use this. It really takes care of the dirt that has accumulated throughout the day:

For the body, I'm currently using these Kala Milk soaps that was given to me almost two weeks ago. I like how it keeps my skin moisturized while it cleans. I like milk soaps and I hope you guys can wait for my review on these soaps.

I also use liquid soaps with my loofa. I use the moringa scent from The Body Shop.

For moisture on the face, I use these Clarins products:

Vital Light Day and Vital Light Night and then to treat my dark spots from acne, I use the Vital Light Serum. It takes a while to see a difference on my dark spots but I think it works.

I also use the Clarins Toning Lotion as my toner. I was able to buy all these Clarins products while I was in the US for a vacation and they were on sale! Yay!

For my eyes, I use The Body Shop's Drops of Youth (Click the product name for my review).

And since I have acne-prone skin, my sister sent me this:

Perter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads
I swear, these pads are the bomb! They are soooo effective! Hopefully I can post a more detailed review soon. :D

For exfoliation, I turn to these samples that my sister gave me. I only have one sachet left though. ExfoliKate really works great on my skin. (Click the product name for my review)

I also pamper my skin with masks! I am currently using two kinds of masks:

Borghese Fango Active Mud Face and Body

and
Dewins Q10 Coenzyme Mask Pack

I will review these masks soon. I already have the photos ready! Haha! The mud mask is for further cleaning and purifying of pores, while the Q10 one is more for deep moisturization and firming.

Of course, I have products that protect me from the sun!

Belo SunExpert for my body and I use these Bioré products on my face! :D

Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence (click the product for my review)

I have uneven skin on my face, arms, body, and legs. My legs are too pale so they look awkward when I wear skirts and dresses. I want to tan them a little and I'm happy I was able to see these products at half price:
I use the deep tan oil every morning when I wear clothes that exposes my legs. I then use the suncare milk on top to prevent damage and after the day, I use the after sun. Haven't seen the need for the cooling gel yet. :P

For my body, I moisturize it with The Body Shop's Body Sorbet. It's not too moisturizing but it comforts me because it cools the skin and it smells soooo good.
I also use the Robinsons Giant Sale Shopping Foot Lotion.

Finally, I use my The Body Shop Moringa Hand Cream to pamper my hands. I always draw and paint and since my hands are constantly exposed to chemicals, I use hand creams to keep them soft. Moringa is one of my favorite scent from TBS so it also comforts me when I smell the glorious floral scent!

And those are my skincare products for the summer season this year. I already reviewed some of them so you can just click and read the reviews for more details. For the other items I haven't reviewed, I'm trying to write my thoughts about them and I hope I can post them soon. :)

Have you tried any of the items listed? What are your summer essential products?

A Month with The Body Shop's Tea Tree Skincare Range

Hey lovelies!

It's skincare talk again. I have mentioned before my fixation on taking care of my skin better. I began focusing on skincare last year because I have been dealing with my troubled skin for more than a decade now and I just want to clear my skin as much as I can (afford) because I am very tired of using concealer and hiding my skin. I have experimented with different brands and products and I have shared the good ones and some bad ones. Even though I have tried good ones, I'm still looking for those that suit my skin better. I am still willing to try products that look promising.

I was approached by someone from The Body Shop and asked me if I was willing to try and review their Tea Tree range. This line is catered for those with blemished skin like me so I immediately agreed to do it. I have tried almost all of the products from the line but not at the same time. I have mostly good reviews on them so what more if I use them altogether right?

So for the past month, I have been using these products from The Body Shop...

What you can expect from these six products are the cooling sensation that feels so refreshing on skin. The tea tree scent also gives you that very clean feeling (I dunno if you like the tea tree scent but I'm just a fan of it). Anyway, I will show you later what my bare face looked like every week, but before that, here are the products and my quick thoughts about them:

Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub (review here)
Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash (review here)

These are the products I use to cleanse my face. I use the scrub twice-thrice a week every morning while for other days, I use the cool and creamy wash.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

I use this twice a day, every morning and evening. I love this toner because it feels so refreshing! Whenever I use this, I feel like my skin is super clean. After cleansing and then applying this, when I look at my cotton pad, it shows how well the products clean your face after a long day of wearing makeup.

For those pesky zits, I use the Tea Tree Oil to help tame the inflammation and quickly get rid of the pimples. Even though it's categorized as oil, it doesn't feel oily. It has a very thin consistency, it gets absorbed by skin fast, and it has a cooling sensation! I use this every night.

Of course we can't forget about moisturization. Even if I have oily skin, it's important to hydrate the skin, especially at night. This Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion feels so light on skin and it feels so cool! I use this twice a day, morning and night.

For my makeup, my base is the Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream (review here) then I just add some concealer and powder on top (I prefer a mineral powder for extra coverage).

And now, for the best part of the post, the pictures of my face after every week of using the products. Here you'll see how effective the products are on my skin...

Excuse my horrible makeup-less makeup. I am doing this for the honest-to-goodness review (you better appreciate this because it took all my courage to post these). Haha!

WEEK 1:

Dark spots are very visible and you can also see new pimples and their redness. :P

 WEEK 2:

Barely any difference but less redness on the pimples.

WEEK 3:

Barely any redness and dark spots are starting to clear. I still get some small zits here and there though.

WEEK 4:

Dark spots are significantly lighter! Yay!

For the whole month I used these, my skin felt very hydrated even if I was focusing on getting rid of my blemishes. From the pictures, you can see how my skin got better. It didn't improve in an instant. It took time to see the difference but I am happy that it looks better now, especially since I have been stressed lately and lack sleep. I actually feel better when it's skincare time because after a long day, I can refresh my face with the products... I really love the cooling factor!!

And that is my report regarding the one month progress of my skin using The Body Shop Tea Tree Range.

What are your thoughts about the products?

Cheers,
DAWN

MY CURRENT FACIAL SKINCARE PART 2 : KIEHL'S

Hello loves!

Here's part two of my facial skincare post (Click here for Part I). This post contains my Kiehl's products that deals mainly with my acne problems including the dark spots I get from acne scars.

All products I use are labeled Dermatologists Solutions. I'm not too sure if it's a product line of the brand but these are all placed next to each other in one shelf if you check their stores. The branch I usually go to is their Shangri La Plaza branch and Ann, the SA I usually talk to, advised me on how these products should be used to get the best result.

I would have bought more products but Kiehl's is very pricey for me so I could only afford this much. Good thing their products come in big bottles and tubes so it would take months before I finish one. :P

Anyway, I have 5 products right now...

Just like the previous post, I'll just share some short thoughts on each products. I use them simultaneously so I can't give a thorough review.

The first product I used from the brand is the

Clearly Corrective™ Skin Brightening Exfoliator

Php 1,250.00
Click the name or HERE for my review on this.
This is one of the best scrubs I've used. The beads are very small and it foams up very well. My face feels so clean and soft after I use this.

Kiehl's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment
Can't remember how much this is exactly but I think this is around P1.2k-1.6k??

I use this on my problem areas such as the jaw area, nose, and my cheeks. I use this to prevent pimples, black heads and white heads from showing. When I have bigger zits, I use a different product, the Snoe Shoo Zit Spray Me From Behind, to deal with it because it's more effective. But this one can also flatten it with bigger amounts applied.

Here are more info from the website:

A daily skin treatment that treats acne blemishes
  • Formulated with a powerful blend of blemish-fighting Dioic, Salicylic and Lipo Hydroxy Acids, known to minimize the appearance of acne and blemishes
  • How to Apply:
-Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying acne treatment
-Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily
-Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor
-If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day

WARNINGS: For external use only. When using this product using other topical acne drugs at the same time or right after use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one drug should be used unless directed by physician. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Kiehl's Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion
Php 2,750.00

I use this once a week since I already use the brightening exfoliator. This removes the dead skin cells effectively without over drying my face. Super smooth face after every use!

Here are the labels on the box:

Some info from the website:
A highly efficacious exfoliating formula
  • Affords an immediate skin-smoothing effect and with regular, tri-weekly use, helps to visibly minimize discolorations and small marks on face, hands, and décolleté
  • Over time, the look of facial lines is reduced and skin texture is significantly smoother and clearer, while the appearance of pore size is diminished
  • Helps to facilitate the absorption of topical skin treatments to maximize their efficacy
How to Apply:

-Dispense a nickel-sized amount of the exfoliating cream into the palm of the hand
-Utilizing fingertips, gently apply to clean, damp skin in an upward and outward circular motion, avoiding the eye area
-Continue treatment for approximately 30 seconds, but no more than two minutes, to achieve desired effect
-Monitoring skin sensitivity closely, you may increase pressure slightly to enhance treatment results
-With eyes closed, rinse with cool water and gently pat dry
-To help soothe skin after treatment, we recommend using this formula in conjunction with Kiehl's Dermatologist Solutions' Centella Recovery Skin-Salve

WARNINGS:For external use only. Do not use on irritated or damaged skin. Avoid getting the micro-dermabrasion exfoliator in the eyes, lips and nostrils. If eye contact occurs, flush thoroughly and gently. If irritation or rash appears, discontinue use and consult a physician. For adult use only. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician before using if you are on any type of skin medication or if you have a pre-existing skin condition such as seborrheic dermatitis, chronic eczema, psoriasis, severe acne, skin cancer, a facial tattoo or sunburned skin. Do not use within 24 hours of use of other exfoliation products; for example, but not limited to: glycolic acid, chemical peels, acne medication or Retin-A. If you experience any undue sensitivity, discontinue use, allowing skin to rest for several days. Because this product may make your skin more sensitive to the sun, always protect your skin following a micro-dermabrasion treatment with a UVA/UVB sunscreen of SPF 15 or greater. Excessive sun exposure after micro-dermabrasion should be avoided. If intense sun exposure is unavoidable, apply sunscreen liberally and frequently. Do not use more frequently than three times per week.

Kiehl’s Insider Tip:
Kiehl’s Dermatologist Solutions are powerful, yet safe treatments that address skin conditions such as premature aging, irritation and sensitivity. Use 2-3 times a week for remarkably smooth skin.

The beads are very fine as you can see on the pictures. But it doesn't foam up as much as the Brightening Exfoliator. :)

The next one is a gift from Helen. I was using another toner from Kiehl's, the oil free one, which is very effective too. But I paused from using it since this one is from the same line as the other treatments I'm using. :)

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective White Clarity-Activating Toner

I use this 2-3x a day. I like that its fragrance-free. :)

Labels on the bottle:

Info from the website:
Advanced skin retexturizing toner
  • High-performance clear toner gently re-texturizes skin
  • Infuses skin with hydrating actives for noticeably cleaner and softer skin
  • Activated C helps visibly diminish dark spots  and skin discoloration
  • Use daily-morning and night after cleansing
  • Paraben-free, fragrance-free, colorant-free,  dermatologist-tested

How to Apply:
-After cleansing, moisten a cotton pad with the toner and apply to face, avoiding the immediate eye area

Kiehl’s Insider Tip:

For optimal results, use with the other formulas in the Clearly Corrective collection.

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
Php 2,995.00

This is the most expensive among the bunch. I do believe that this is effective but not too much as to even out the scars.

Labels on the bottle:

Info from the website:

A fast-acting serum that diminishes dark spots and visibly evens skin tone
  • Helps to prevent the formation of future dark spots and other skin discolorations with continued daily usage
  • Silicone-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free
  • No colorants and no optical diffusers
  • How to Apply:
-Cleanse skin thoroughly prior to application
-Apply dark spot serum over entire face both day and night under your ideal moisturizer
-During the day, protect skin by layering with Super Fluid UV Defense
-Before bedtime, replenish skin by layering on Midnight Recovery Concentrate
I was advised to use only 3 drops and I apply it all over my face but sometimes I put extra on the areas with really dark scars.

So that's all of the products!
Now, how do I use them?
Please check the Part 1 post as reference for the products not mentioned in this one.

I still follow the rule: Cleanse, tone, and moisturize.

I usually do this routine every morning and before going to bed at night.

I wash my face first using The Body Shop's Cool and Creamy Wash (but starting this December, I also use the Tony Moly Natural Bubble Swallow's Nest Foam Cleanser).

For scrubs, I used Kiehl's Brightening exfoliator (the deluxe sample) until I completely finished it. I then used The Body Shop's
Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub for a couple of months and then went and buy a regular size Brightening Exfoliator again. I use these scrubs once or twice a week since I also use the Kiehl's Micro-Dermabrasion.

After cleansing, I apply the Kiehl's Clearly Corrective White Clarity-Activating Toner. I then apply Ciracle's Vitamin C Serum (I got a tip that we should use serums first before cream products and also apply Vitamin C based products because it makes the products applied after more potent). I then put the Ciracle Pore Minimizing Serum and the Kiehl's Corrective Dark Spot Solution. I usually wait til each serum dries/get absorbed by the skin before applying another. I then apply the Kiehl's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment and once it dries, I finally apply the Ciracle Vitamin E Cream.

And if you suffer from bacne like me, I recommend using Mir and Ryvi Tomato Soap and Snoe Shoo Zit Spray Me From Behind. :)

Well, that's all I guess.  These products really helped a lot with my skin (check the first part of this post so you can see the way my skin has improved). Hope that this routine can be of some help to those with the same skin type as I do! :D

Cheers,
