The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick in Peachy Pink

Hey dears!

Sharing this short swatch post about this lipstick from The Body Shop. The shade's name is very, very pretty because it's called Peachy Pink! Haha! That's the reason why I bought the lippie because its name is close to our blog's name. :P

I've blogged about a different shade of Colour Crush Lipstick, Red Hot Raspberry, you can click here for swatches and more info about the Colour Crush lipsticks.

Marula Oil

We work with the Eudofano Women’s Co-operative in Ondangwa, Northern Namibia, to source our Community Fair Trade marula oil. The marula tree is held to be sacred to the people of Ovamboland, and Namibian women have traditionally used marula oil for generations to smooth and moisturise their skin. Now the 1750 Namibian women of the Eudofano Co-operative are building a business and a future on the ancient wisdom of marula. The oil they produce is cold-pressed to preserve its high quality, and enriches our products with its hydrating and smoothing properties.

Apply to lips straight from the bullet or with a Lipstick & Concealer Brush.

Four steps to the perfect pout:
1. Prepare for colour by gently exfoliating with Lipscuff
2. Moisturise with hydrating and conditioning Translucent Lip Care
3. Add definition with soft-textured Lip Liner
4. Glide on high-impact Colour Crush™ Lipstick and pop that pout!

Here's how it looks like. Packaging is very simple and the lipstick size is pretty much the average size of lippies.

It has a mild rosy scent which is a plus for me because I love how it smells. :P

Here are pics of my lips with the lipstick on.

According to the website, the shade Peachy Pink is matte but I think it's not entirely so. I think it has like a pearlescent finish. The shade wasn't the color I was expecting. I thought it would be a bit warmer... this kinda looks like carnation pink for me instead of Peachy Pink. :P

So I guess that's all for tonight's post! Hope you guys can stay tune tomorrow for I will be launching a giveaway!!! Yayyyy!

Cheers,
DAWN

    1. Yep. I guess I have to blot it to achieve the matte effect. :/

  2. Yep, this is definitely a carnation pink! Not a shade I'd pick up naturally but it looks like it goes very nicely on your skin! I've been seeing some jelly looking shades and would love to check them out!

    1. Thanks! I'm liking lighter lippies recently because it's summer here. :D
