EVERY FILIPINA – MESTIZA, MORENA OR CHINITA – CAN NOW BE PROUDER OF HER COLOR + GIVEAWAY!

Hello loves!

Have you ever felt like you can't wear something because of your skin tone? I know quite a number of people who are just like that!
Like when I wear red lipsticks, they often comment that they can't wear the color because it might make them look darker.
But I disagree on that! Anyone can wear red lipsticks if they want to and still look great. The key to this is finding the right tone of the color!

That goes for hair color too! Just finding the right tone for your preferred color can do wonders to your crowning glory! And that's what L'Oreal Professionnel is aiming for in their new movement to show every Filipina that they can wear their color proud!
And that is why they are teaming up with bloggers to let us be one of the 9,000 Filipinas to achieve the perfect look for our crowning glory... and we can take one reader with us too! One of you can join me on this by joining this giveaway which I will post the mechanics on later on this post!

Filipinas deserve to have their beauty brought out and developed the best way possible. With this, Filipinas everywhere will be empowered to showcase their looks and character. As the leading provider of hair color in the Philippine salon industry, it is L’Oreal Professionnel’s advocacy to be able to provide all Filipinas the best hair color using the right hair color brand for them and we want to do this through proper consultation and diagnosis. It is our aim to be able to educate hairstylists on the science of proper skin tone diagnosis to give all types of Filipina mestiza, morena or chinita- the hair color that suit them best.

This is why we launched the Wear Your Color Proud Campaign. Through this initiative, we intend to bring back proper consultation and diagnosis in the salon. The campaign targets to create discussion between the hairstylists and their clients on what color would go best with any Filipina skin tone. An integral part of this campaign is the Color Consultation Diagnosis Guide and Training to aid both the hairstylists and their clients based on the latter’s skin tone as well as a clear understanding of L’Oreal Professionnel’s color brands for the clients’ preference. With are liable education tool and guided consultation and diagnosis with the hairstylist, the Filipina client is now given the power to properly choose the hair color that will suit her best, allowing her to have informed control over the hair color she wants to achieve. This collaborative effort will also make the client feel more comfortable over her decision, giving her a boost of confidence and satisfaction.

For this campaign, L’Oreal Professionnel has partnered with theProfessional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP). With a healthy mix of different kinds of Filipinas in its roster of talents,PMAP is the perfect partner to represent the campaign. Just like the “it-girls of PMAP, any mestiza, morena or chinita can achieve the hair color she wants by working closely with her hairstylist in selecting the right shade that suits and exhibits her skin tone best. To be able to execute this grand partnership in a sensational manner it truly deserves, L’Oreal Professionnel mounted a beauty and fashion shoot with non-other thanPhotographer Sara Black and Fashion Designer and Project Runway Philippines alumna Milka Quin. Together, the team was able to elegantly express the message the campaign aims to convey  that every Filipina - mestiza, morena or chinita - can now be be prouder by having the most ideal hair color for her.

So are you a #proudmorena, #proudmestiza, or a #proudchinita? Whatever your skin color is, I'm sure L'Oreal can make you wear your color prouder than ever before!

  7. Hello Dawn~! :) Thanks for sharing the 1+1 event to your readers! ;) I also love Etude House and i've been wanting to spend some quality time too with girls who also love etude and share the same love for make ups though i really don't wear too much just to lighten my face up and maintain a natural everyday look. Recently, I've been thinking of styling my hair, im just undecided of what hairstyle so i will look younger and fresh. hehe This will be a nice opportunity, if ever you will pick me, please tell me something or teach me about make up, styling and stuffs because i'm really messy and i am a newbie, my skills are very low, i can't even fix my eyebrows and can't even pick the right lipstick and shades for makeup! I am an enthusiast but I have the lowest confidence to go out when im wearing makeup. >.< I am happy to spend the whole day learning! ^-^

Btw, I am Roshwill and here's my email roshwillking[at]gmail[dot]com. =) Cheers to this event by Loreal and thanks again for sharing the +1 to your readers. ^-^
