Review : Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara

Hi Dearies!

I've been a fan of mascaras since I started using makeup. I think enhancing one's lashes really make the eyes striking even without the liners or the eye shadows.
If you've seen my previous posts, I've been a fan of Maybelline mascaras. Around 70-80% of mascaras I've had were from Maybelline and though I'm very happy with their products, I'm still open to trying other brands.
My favorite makeup guru, Lisa Eldridge, has been using a mascara in some of her videos and I was very curious to why she liked using it in her makeovers. So I bought one and tried it out myself. And I absolutely fell in-love with it!

It's the...

Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara

So in this review, I shall show you why I love this one so much!

What the product says:

The mascara is available in 3 shades - Black, Brown Black, and Black Waterproof (the one I'm using).

This is the product's applicator.
It has tiny bristles that are farther away compared to the mascaras I've used so far. The brush is quite big that made it difficult for me to put some mascara at my bottom lashes. :(
Also, since the brush is big, I am not sure if it's good for people with short lashes. :/

Here are shots of how it performs when I apply it on my upper lashes:
 Bare lashes

Lashes curled using my Shu Eumura Lash Curler

 One coat of the product

2 coats of the product

See how it lengthen and spread my lashes apart?
Sort of made it look like I really have false lashes on!
My lashes look clean and no clumps! It didn't irritate my eyes and it held the curls of my lashes. I never get smudges and it dries fast that I don't even need to wait for it to dry when I apply it.
It also lengthen my lashes and volumizes them as well!

When I first tried it, my sister and my friends already noticed my lashes. One even thought I had falsies on! Haha! ♥

So to sum it all up, here's
what I love about it:

Lengthens my lashes
Volumizes
No clumps
No smudges
Can be build
Doesn't irritate my eyes
My lashes do look like I have falsies
Holds my curled lashes
Has 3 shades
Locally available

What I don't like about it:

The brush is too big
It's Php695.00 each. More expensive than the ones I used to buy :P

There you have it!
Isn't it neat? I sometimes apply it even when I'm just at home cuz my lashes just look awesome with it on! My sister loves it as well that she bought one yesterday! Haha!!

Have you tried this yet? Thoughts?

  6. Janet - you're welcome, dear! Me too. It's just a struggle to put mascara at the bottom lashes. But I super LOVE this mascara! :)
