Detail Cosmetics Water Tint in Wine

Hi loves!

I'm still one of the few people wearing a face (surgical) mask when I go use the public transport. I just can't risk getting sick nowadays. That being said, I can't use lipsticks and lip glosses under the mask. But as a typical kikay girly, I hate seeing myself looking pale after I remove my mask when I get to the office. Good thing lip tints are here! Here's one of the products I use:

Chica y Chico One Shot Eye Palette in Wine Burgundy

Hi dearies!

I think it's no secret that I like the color peach and I tend to pick shades that are near the warm pinks or rose gold whenever I look at eyeshadow palettes. But pair it with glittery golds and beautiful wine red shades, then you have a palette that I would reach for EVERYDAY. This is something different for me since I like trying different looks everyday. I rarely use the same product for consecutive days, except if I'm out traveling and I only brought a few products with me.

But this product that I'll share today just made me do what was unusual for me and I literally used it everyday for a week since I got them and it's still a favorite of mine for more than a month now...

Château Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Rose Coral

Hi loves!

I'll share my swatches of the other product that my friend Tellie gave me when we last met up way back in September last year.

Château Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Rose Coral

It was a gift, along with the Peripera Peri's INK VELVET in So Grapefruit,
from South Korea where she's currently staying.

I chose from a number of this mini size versions and I picked this shade... obviously because it's close to my favorite color (Salmon Pink)! Well... I usually like anything that's peachy pink. ;)

But before I go to the swatches, let's appreciate this super adorable packaging... I mean a wine shaped lippie?!? That's like two of my favorite things in one! How awesome can you get???

For this instance, it's three favorite things because of the color. ;)

Anyway, here are the product descriptions from the website:

I like that it promises that it's long-lasting and that it can give good moisture and pigment. I also like that it has some wine extract in it. ;)

The mini bottle has an applicator equipped that's also mini sized but still easy to apply the product on the lips.

Now here are the swatches!

Here it is at first swatch

Here is the swatch when it dries

And when I wash my hands with soap... look! It's still there!

And below are pics of the product on my lips:

One coat

Two coats

Three coats

So the product is buildable. With one coat, it just looks like my natural lips but more hydrated. I like wearing it with two coats.

I would agree with all the claims because it is indeed long-lasting and stays true to the swatches. The only thing that I would advise you is to keep your lips hydrated and maybe use a lips scrub because this product makes your dry areas of the lips very visible.

I love this product still. It's like my lips but better. I love having this in my kikay kit because it's just too cute, like I'm carrying wine with me everywhere. :D

What are your thoughts on Château Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Rose Coral?

I'm a fan of bold, matte lipsticks so having to swatch these three was a delight for me. Not only are they bold and matte, but these are the colors that I absolutely LOVE wearing!

I've provided swatches below. Check them out!

(From left to Right)
Nude, Ruby, and Wine

I also have photos of my lips with the lipsticks! Check them out!

First is Nude.

I think it's a must to have at least one nude lipstick in your stash. It's something that you can wear for a simple, natural look, and it goes very well with a striking smokey eye makeup!

on my lips

Next is Ruby.

I like how they named this Ruby and the shade is exactly like Ruby... well, maybe with a hint of scarlet. But it's very stunning.

It's very Christmas-y/festive because of it's bright yet very bold color. You would certainly stand-out when you have this on.

on my lips

Last, but not the least, Wine.

It's as dark as red wine. It looks as sophisticated as the drink as well!

I think it's a great pick if you're going on a fancy dinner date. I like that it's darker than Ruby with a cooler tone. Even if both are shades of red, they give a different vibe!

on my lips

I've used all three and I would agree that they are all pigmented! For matte lipsticks, I don't think that they are as drying as, if I have to compare, the ones from MAC's. In fact, I don't think it made my lips chappy during the couple of days that I wore the lipsticks. But it can make your dry lips obvious (mine's quite dry when I did the swatches, which you can see on the photos, unfortunately). Make sure you moisturize your lips well before using.

I'm loving the part that it's quite afforable. Good quality matte lipsticks are getting more expensive nowadays because of the popularity so it's great to know that Celeteque provided us with these. If you're on a tight budget, I must admit that it's not particularly cheap at PhP 595.00, but for the quality, I think it's a pretty good deal! You don't get any of the waxy feeling, no chemical scent, and no awful taste! You just get beautiful colors that are long-lasting!

I'm loving all three shades and I think I'll be using them a lot for the next few months. I can't pick which one is my favorite. Which do you think suits me the best?

FOTD: Merlot

Hey guys!

Sharing another FOTD with you all. :D

I was in a mood to go a little dark for the day but still something I can wear to work. I ended up using shades that are close to the color of red wine.

That's why I named this look "Merlot" and I also used an eyeshadow shade named Merlot in my LORAC Mega Pro Palette. :P

These are the products I used.

NYX Full Coverage Concealer in a Jar in Beige

The key parts of this makeup look are the eyes and lips. I concentrated the wine colors on those parts.

For the eyes, I mixed warm pinks, wine red, and dark brown.

A nice winged liner can add some sexiness to the already sexy color.

I also added a light pink shade under the lower lash line to contrast the dark shadows and liner.

A beautiful deep lippie is the star of this look. I just love this eye-catching shade from Avon although it has a tendency to bleed.

So that's my look! If you have questions regarding this FOTD, comment them below! :)
