Dior Fusion Mono Matte in Fantaisie

Hey dears!

Got school work to do so I'll make this quick and simple. :P

I bought this mono matte eyeshadow during my vacation in the US. I've always loved Dior eyeshadows and I just couldn't resist buying this when I saw it. It has almost everything I love—it's and eyeshadow, it's matte, the color is one of my favorites, and it's Dior!

Below are the details on the packaging:

I actually prefer palettes since they hold more shades but I REALLY want to get this so I thought of reasons why. LOL

1. It's a color I can wear everyday so I KNOW that I can empty this thing (I rarely finish eyeshadows).
2. I rarely go on vacations so why not pamper myself and buy something for me since I'm already there.
3. It's a hundred bucks cheaper there than when I buy it here in the PH.

And so, I got this very beautiful thing. :D

The soft pink color is super lovely. I'm in-love with it.

And the matte-ness of it attracts me. It's something I want to color my room with.

It's very soft and very feminine.
Check out the swatch below:

It's quite pigmented... it does look a little close to my skin color though.

Here's how it looks when applied on my eyelids:

Since it is cream type, it tends to crease easily on the line of my lids. It looks better if you have an eye primer on.

What's good about it is that the "cream-gel" dries fast upon application. It becomes a silky layer of color and it really feels light and it's not sticky. If you have oily lids like I do, I suggest you top it off with a translucent powder to prolong its staying power.

If you're wondering how it is as a base, honestly, I couldn't say because I never used it as such. I love the color very much and I don't want to top it with another color. Although I add extra shades of eyeshadow to add depth at the outer area of my eyes. :P

And that's all for now for this pretty little thing. I'll post better EOTD using this sometime soon. :)

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. Love the color! It's like an auto highlighter for the lids. Siguro if I will use it with other colors, I'll go for a somewhat darker shade for the crease :)

    1. Yeah, I do that too. I usually go for mauves or gray-browns. But chocolate browns look good too. :D
