Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack

Hey everyone!

I'm slowly becoming a fan of face packs. Before, I was very lazy to apply these kinds of skincare. But beginning last year, I began getting fond of using face packs. They just make my face so soft. One of the latest I've tried is the Egg Mousse Pack from Too Cool For School...

Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack
I bought this at their SM North branch. I can't remember the price though. :(

So a mousse pack is a wash-off mask. I apply it all over my face and massage it for a some minutes. Massaging it is quite fun since this pack is very foamy. Reminds me of shaving creams. :P I let it stay on my face for a good 15-20 minutes before I rinse it off.

But before I share my thoughts on this, let's check the products info:

Well, that's the labels but I got some more info that are in english on their website:

What attracted me to buy this product is the name. It says it's an "egg face mousse pack!" EGG! That already got me curious. Plus, the font used for the product name is cute. But anyway, I know that egg whites have been used as homemade skincare regimen so I thought that maybe this is good. Plus the foaminess is a big plus because it just made me want to try it out more.

It dispenses like this, and when you start massaging it, it foams up more. It smells really good so I don't mind that I have to leave it on for a while.

After rinsing, my face really feels clean and it is softer. You will also feel like your face is a bit firm... you know the feeling when a raw egg dries up on your skin? Well, there's also a little bit of that. I've been using this twice a week for the past couple of months and I haven't experienced any irritations.

I think this product can be used by people with any skin type. I have oily skin but this didn't dry my skin nor cause it to go hyper oily (haha!). It's fun to use because of the foam (I usually use this while watching a 20-30 minute TV series episode) so I do recommend this product.

Have you tried this product yet? Have you used other mousse kind of face packs?

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. OOOo, how fun! I totally love the packaging and how it sounds like! My mother used to apply egg whites as a drying and tightening face mask, it naturally makes the skin tight and then you need to wash it off! But I haven't dared to try it yet!

    1. I use it after cleanser then once I wash it off, that's when I apply everything else.

    1. You're welcome. I don't really notice but it's more on making your face cleaner and softer so I guess it helps remove dirt in your pores making it smaller.
