Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Pressed Mineral Blush Duo in Obsession/Fulfillment

Hey gorgeous!

The Blush is one of the makeup products that I don't really value as much. Don't get me wrong, it is still a must in my everyday makeup routine. I just don't need a lot of them unlike eyeshadows, eyeliners, and lipsticks. I always thought that I don't need to invest a large amount of my money for blushes unlike when it comes to foundations and long-wearing mascaras and liners. Since I like dramatic eye makeup, I go for subtle colors on the cheeks and I think that I only need probably less than five shades (though currently I have more) of blushes in my stash. What is important for me is that I have a good pink and peach shades.

And that's what this particular product provides... This is a palette containing two beautiful shades of pink and peach that will give your face that beautiful warmth...

As seen at the back of the compact, the left one, Obsession, is a sheer raspberry red. I find it more like a very warm, sweet pink shade. The other one, Fulfillment, is watermelon peach and gold shimmer. I super adore this shade. I've mentioned quite a few times that I love peach and this kind of shade, almost Salmon, is one of my favorite!

Left is Obsession, Right is Fulfillment

They both have a semi-matte finish which I really like for my blushes. Semi-matte because they have these really fine shimmer, almost unnoticeable at first. These shimmers add to the soft, natural-looking glow on my cheeks when I wear the blushes.

They can be chalky but they are highly pigmented. A little amount goes a long way so just tap the blush brush first before applying.

Here are pictures of me wearing the blushes taken with different camera (Nikon D60) white balances:

I think Obsession looks warmer on me when I apply it on my cheeks. I'm not complaining. I think it looks amazing!

And now, with Fulfillment:

Fulfillment is currently becoming one of my most used blushes. I just love how it gives my face a healthy flush.
