Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Teal Malachite

Hey dearies!

Just last month I received my special edition Eye of Horus Glamourbox. Through that box, I finally was able to try a product from Eye of Horus. The moment the brand became available in the Philippines, I was already curious about this and I became even more interested when I read some good reviews on their products.

Honestly, I found the products a bit expensive, that is why I quickly reserved a box when Glamourbox collaborated with Eye of Horus. I only paid for Php 695.00 for the whole box, and I know that most products from this brand is Php 900+, and I was happy that I was able to receive 2 full-size products from them. Good deal!

Anyway, I'll be blogging about one of the products from that box. It's the...

Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil
Php 990.00

The shade I got is Teal Malachite.

Here's the product description from their website

Mesmerize with ancient Metallic Malachite. Adorn and enhance your eyes with this hypnotic shimmering jewel-like formula, Teal Malachite creates a effervescent statement. Its vivacious deep pigment is perfectly matched for summer days to make eyes sparkle and pop with colour. Equally brilliant for the night goddess, it’s a sultry standout. Created with a hint of metallic pearl, this gorgeous defining eye liner adds colour and vitality.
Designed to glide on smoothly, without tearing, the Teal Malachite goddess liner is long lasting, and can be combined with other liners for creative eye artwork – it is an energetic colour, for all eyes.
Sensational for Day wear or evening.
Ingredients:
Water, Beeswax, Carnaubax Wa, Stearic Acid, Rice Bran Wax, Candelilla Wax, Glyceryl Monostearate, Organic Moringa Seed Oil, Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, Methylisothiazolinone. Mineral Colour
Caring for your pencil:
To protect the wax elements in the Goddess Pencil, avoid heat or sun. Ensure the cap is on tight to ensure no shrinkage of wax content. A professional cosmetic sharpener is required to sharpen the pencil, our Eye of Horus precision sharpener maintains the Goddess Pencil is in perfect condition. To make sharpening easier, store it in the refrigerator or freezer, which will harden the wax and avoid breakage.
The product is the usual pencil type eyeliner. I like the design—all black with gold labels. Very classy!

This pencil also comes with a smudger.

The color is majestic! My sister loves teal and I think I'm beginning to like the color too.

The product is very pigmented. I got that color in just one swipe and it glided smoothly too.

It promises to be long-lasting so I tested it...

When I wipe the product several times

When I place it under running water

When I wiped it while wet

The product didn't easily smudge but it still faded in every test I did. It's not waterproof so I don't use it on my lids because I know it will just crease or smudge. I do apply it under the lower lash line which gives my eyes a striking look!

I was hoping that this would be a waterproof with super long-lasting features but even though it didn't meet my expectations, I still like it. It doesn't fade throughout the day when I wear it under my lower lash line and the pigmentation is just awesome!

And before I end this post, I'll just share with you the partner of the Goddess Pencil, the Precision Sharpener!

I also got it from the Glamourbox special edition. This is Php 295.00.

It's also black with gold design. I like how simple yet sleek it looks.
The packaging makes sharpening the pencils not messy.

Let's see how it works:
This is my ArtDeco eyeliner.

And voila! It sharpened the eyeliner beautifully. I don't like my pencils too sharp because it's uncomfortable when you apply it. Anyway, the sharpener works great. A little pricey but it is of good quality.

That's all for today! Have you tried any product from Eye of Horus? Which one/s?

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. This is sooo pretty but like you I find there's something off wiht the EOH pencils. I have the black one and it's a bit of a pain to work with.

    1. Even if I love the color, I find this pricey and I know more affordable ones that work better. :P
