More than a year ago I began to give serious importance in taking care of my skin. I upgraded the products I use and make sure that my skin is getting the proper hydration it needs and that means I get to drink enough water and also use a good moisturizer.
Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream
You can buy this at Beauty Bar for Php 1,450.00.
This moisturizer was among the products sent to me by the brand last Christmas.
This is one of the few skincare products that I have tried from the brand. I actually haven't tried their skincare line before I received some products last December so I was pretty excited and started using all of them. This jar lasted 3 months and I used this every night.
Anyway, here's what the product is all about according to the label on the box:
A summary of what it promises according to the website:
• Intensely hydrates dry skin
• Helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles
• Absorbs quickly with non-greasy formula
• Enhanced with Probiotic Technology
• Dermatologist Tested and Noncomedogenic
And now, I will share with you my experience with the Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream...
Did it hydrate my skin? Yes. I have oily skin so I have no problems with flaking, dry skin. During the time I was using this, I can say that I didn't encounter any dryness, no breakouts nor irritations. My skin was soft and supple, especially in the morning when I wake up!
Lines and wrinkles? I'm still in my mid-twenties so wrinkles and fine lines are not yet my problem so I can't really say much on the effectiveness of this product on that part but if I you still want an answer, I don't think I developed any during the months that I was using this night cream.
Did my skin absorb the product quickly? This night cream is very thick. It feels very heavy at first and then I feel like my skin is tightening, and I find that very pleasant for some reason. After a couple of minutes, I don't feel the heavy feeling anymore so I guess my skin did quickly absorbed it.
Was the product non-greasy? It's not, but it is still thick which is not something I like to put on my face... good thing it gets absorbed fast as mentioned. And oh, this smells really nice!
Overall, this is a nice product to hydrate the skin. If you don't mind applying scented thick creams, then I recommend you try this out! I find that the price is reasonable for something that gives intense hydration and is 99% natural. :)
That's all I have to say for the Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream. Have you tried this product yet? What are your favorite Burt's Bees product/s?
