Party the night away with metallic colors like Straight Up (shimmer), Gun Metal (shimmer), and Cloud (shimmer). Make your eyes truly pop with color when you use Grape Vine (matte), Soda Pop (matte), and Mermaid (shimmer). Showstoppers Supernova and Magical will truly give a great addition to your Virginia Olsen Minerals collection. We’re also throwing in some shimmery highlighters Angelic (for fairer skin tone) and Innocence (for darker skin tone) to complete the range. (Hashtag: #VirginiaOlsen2014Collection)

Affordable at only Php 165 for each eyeshadow, and Php280 each for the highlighter. Oh, and don’t forget to use our new all-organic eye primer Virginia Olsen’s Eye Prime (Php499) to add vibrancy and intensity on your lids! These products will be available in the Philippines this July 2014 in www.virginiaolsen.com, www.lazada.com.ph, and The Ramp Crossings, Shangrila Plaza.

And they also sent me these awesome products from the latest collection!

Three of them are eyeshadows while Innocence is a highlighter, which I also use as an eyeshadow!

As always, Virginia Olsen Eyeshadows are very pigmented. I knew right away what to expect and what looks I can do using the shades they sent me.

As you can see on the swatches above, I wasn't disappointed. All four shades are super pigmented! Kikay artist in me is very happy!

And of course I have to play with my new toys! Here's the first look I made using the colors Straight Up, Cloud, Grape Vine, and Innocence...

I used Innocence on top of my cheeks and also as an eyeshadow.

Below are closeup pictures of my eye makeup.

Sorry for the untidy eyebrows. I made the look a couple of days after I got back from US and I didn't groom my brows during the 3 weeks I was there. Hehe. :P

So on the inner corners, I used Cloud. At the middle is Straight Up. I used Grape Vine at the outer corners and lastly, Innocence at the top of Grape Vine. :P

So what do you think of this EOTD? I managed to play with all four colors and the look reminds me of the time when it's almost evening and the sky is a combination of pink, purple, blue and black with lots of stars...

And before I end this post, I'd also like to share this new product from Virginia Olsen. I haven't tried it yet but you may find it interesting too...

Eye Prime has a powdery gel consistency, so a little goes a long way. Simply apply a thin layer over eyelid and smoothen it on your skin. Once it has dried, you will feel a smooth and even surface that makes application of eyeshadow a breeze. Our Virginia Olsen Eye Prime works best with loose pigments such as Virginia Olsen mineral eyeshadows. This organic primer acts as a base to which the pigments, glitters, or shadows will adhere into.
Eye Prime retails at Php499 and will soon be available at www.virginiaolsen.com.

And that's all for now! I'll post more looks using these new shades soon! Happy Sunday everyone!

What do you think of the new collection? Which color is your favorite?

Cheers,
DAWN
