Hi loves!

When Althea Korea first released their makeup collection, I was so thrilled to share them with you because of how great they are. But out of all the items I shared, I think the eyeshadow palette became my favorite instantly.

So for today's post, I'll share swatches and the looks I made using the...

Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Pearl in 451

Hi guys!

I’m currently on a trip and won’t be home for another week, which explains why the blog has been quiet for a while. I’ve been in Sydney for the past seven days to spend time with my sister and I’ve been having a blast! You can check out the places I’ve been to on my Instagram.

As much as I’m having fun here, I feel bad that my blog is inactive so let me share a quick swatch post for now...

Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette

Hey loves!

One of the things I keep telling myself is to stop buying eyeshadows. Let's face it, eyeshadows are one of the products that are almost impossible to use all up before it reaches the date of it's supposed life span. Many would settle with a great neutral palette and a few colors, but I just LOVE mixing and matching shades and creating various looks around the eye area that I can't resist getting a beautiful palette!

And that's the case when I saw this product...

Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette
Bought this at SephoraPH for PhP 1,106.00.

Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Collection

Hello loves!

It's awesome when you have people who support your "passions." Haha! Whenever they give me gifts, it's either about the visual arts (art materials or books) or makeup! So when my friend, who currently lives in the US, visited the Philippines, she got me a pasalubong! Well, I actually planned on asking her to buy this and pay her later, but she decided to give it to me as a gift instead. Thank God for friends, right?

Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Collection
It's $36.00 according to the website.

Believe it or not, I don't have a neutral palette. Well... I guess you can put the Lorac MegaPro Palette as a neutral but it also has other shades that are too cool or too dark to be considered "neutral" or "natural." I just want a neutral palette that I can bring with me when I travel and I saw this palette on Facebook and was interested.

I've used products from the brand Too Faced and I loved every single product I've used. That's why I wanted to try this one out. Plus, I just love the design of the packaging! It looks so classy and feminine. I also love the peach color because, well, it's my favorite color!

Anyway, here's the info on the packaging. Click the photo to enlarge.

It also comes with a card that acts as a guide on how to mix and blend the shades together.

I like that the palette is a mix of mattes and shimmers!

I love every shade included... but can you guess which one is my favorite? Hmm?

Anyway, check out the swatches below:

Heaven, Cashmere Bunny, Sexpresso

The matte trio!!! Heaven is a pale, light, warm beige. Cashmere Bunny is the perfect eyeshadow contour shade with it's medium beige shade. Finally, Sexpresso, the darkest shade has this deep dark brown color that can also double as an eyeliner.

Silk Teddy, Push-up, Erotica

The shimmery trio! Silk Teddy is MY FAVORITE! It's a champagne color that's close to becoming a pale peach shade. Push-up is close to the shade of Silk Teddy but a few shades darker. Erotica reminds me of an oak color with chunky gold shimmers.

Nude, Honey Pot, Chocolate Martini

The combination trio! Nude is a matte light mocha color, Honey Pot is a shimmery gold color, and Chocolate Martini is a rich, warm chocolate shade with gold shimmers.

I tried copying the looks on the card. Here's how I made them...
Combination of
Heaven, Cashmere Bunny, Sexpresso
A beautiful matte eyeshadow when you want a natural makeup look. Perfect for everyday!

Combination of
Silk Teddy, Push-up, Erotica

The classy look. A sprinkle of shimmer can turn any look to extra glam!

Combination of
Nude, Honey Pot, Chocolate Martini

A warm, bronzed up eyeshadow to pair with that perfect bronzer to achieve the perfect sun-kissed glow!

To summarize,
I love this palette. All shades are pigmented and not chalky. I like all the shades and they can be mixed and match together to create different looks. Yes, you can be playful with neutrals too! It can last long with the help of a good primer. The packaging is beautiful too!

And that's all for the Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Collection! Let me know what you think!

Estée Lauder Graphic Color Eyeshadow Quad in Vintage Violet

Hey loves!

Here's an easy go-to eyeshadow palette that I use when I'm in a hurry or when I travel.

Estée Lauder Graphic Color Eyeshadow Quad in Vintage Violet

What I like about it is that it's a mix of purple and mauve shades that are wearable and they compliment my skin very well.

It's also easy to carry around because the compact is thin and sturdy. It also has the classic Estée Lauder design that's so elegant to look at (although the sticker at the bottom could be further improved).

I love using the first two shades because they are the most neutral. I pair it with almost every lipstick shade I have in my stash. But the purples at the bottom creates a dramatic statement so I like using it when I go out in the evening.

Below are the swatches from top to bottom:

See what I mean when I say they are wearable? My favorite shade is the second one. :)

What are your thoughts on the Estée Lauder Graphic Color Eyeshadow Quad in Vintage Violet?

StudioMakeup Soft Blend Eye Shadow in Peach Sorbet

Hi dearies!

I've been wearing this eyeshadow often lately...

StudioMakeup Soft Blend Eye Shadow in Peach Sorbet

I was able to get it for only PhP 218.75 from its original price of PhP 625.00 at Beauty Bar.

If it's not obvious yet, I love peach! And that's what attracted me to get this eyeshadow.

Another thing I like is eyeshadows because that's the part of the makeup process that I can get creative. :)

This is my first eyeshadow from the brand and my initial thought were:

The packaging looks great! It's simple yet classy. I like that you can see the shade from the transparent case.

The eyeshadow is a light peach with shimmers. It looks fun and sweet and great for everyday wear. It's like close to being neutral but not really... you know? :P

Here's the swatch

And below are photos when I wear it with my favorite winged liner:

I love the effect because it instantly brightens my eyes. :)

With the right eyeshadow primer, it can last the whole day on my lids.

What do you think of the StudioMakeup Soft Blend Eye Shadow in Peach Sorbet? :)

Cheers,
DAWN

Laura Mercier Eye Colour Duet in Stellar/African Violet

Hello beautiful!

Just sharing this very pretty duo eyeshadow palette that my sister gave me. :)

Laura Mercier Eye Colour Duet in Stellar/African Violet

Laura Mercier has been one of my sis' go-to brands for around a decade now and most of the LM products that we've blogged is from her. If you're not familiar with Laura Mercier, do look it up because they have really good products. I love their concealers and their tinted moisturizers. :)

Anyway, the shades that is included in this duo palette is Stellar and African Violet. I love this combo because it gives a light and romantic vibe.

It's a great everyday eyeshadow. It comes in a square compact with a mirror, which is very handy when I travel.

I love that Stellar is a great base color with the right amount of shimmer. African Violet, on the other hand, is a warm purple shade with gold shimmers. I find this shade very attractive. It's becoming one of my favorite eyeshadows to use!

I love the pigmentation and I appreciate that it's not very chalky, especially African Violet. I can pair this with a pinkish nude lippie in the morning and a cool hot pink or a deep fuchsia lipstick in the evening.

What do you think of the Laura Mercier Eye Colour Duet in Stellar/African Violet?
