I have a thing for nude, matte eyeliners. I use them on my waterline to brighten my eyes. It also gives an illusion of bigger eyes. Some people use white eye pencils but I think white is just too intense. The nude ones look more sort of natural.
I've actually had a few of those nude, matte liners but I just want to try more. So during my trip to the US, this is one of the products I bought:
Rimmel ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal in 005 Nude
Bought this at Target and it's probably around $4.
details on the packaging
It's actually quite affordable compared to the other nude eyeliners I've tried.
I haven't tried much Rimmel products yet so I was really hoping that this will work well especially on the waterline. But I've been reading many blog reviews on Rimmel products that are very positive so I was eager to purchase some products from them.
And I was such a happy shopper to know that they have matte, nude ones. Haha! And it says it's waterproof too!
Here's a closeup of the pencil.
Swatch on hand
The pencil really is creamy and smooth to apply. It's also very pigmented! I wish I bought more shades!
Here's how it looks on my waterline or inner rim.
It looks great on the waterline. Really brightened my eyes. It also looks well with a thick black liner on the upper lids.
The lasting-power of this on my waterline is around 3-4 hours. Quite long for something on my waterline. When it's on skin that dry, it can last the whole day! I love this! I definitely recommend! :D
