HELP! Eyeliner Recommendations

Trace writes: Two of my eyeliner products are almost at their end! I'm very partial to black liners (I line my eyes everyday to perk them up) and I've been using MAC Penultimate in Rapidblack and MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack but I will need to bury them soon. The former doesn't deposit much pigment - I have to really press the felt-tip pen hard on my eye to get a good line, but that technique makes the result too thick. Plus, staying power isn't too good either. The latter - even if 50% is left - is dry already! =(

But of course I still have to post pictures of soon-to-die makeup.

Swatches (first line softly pressed, the next pressed HARD)

Any recommendations? I want my liner vibrantly black and long-lasting!

P.S. I also have to say, I have my Nichido liquid liner and it performs well, but it stings my eye =(

  3. Hi Khymm! =) I'm thinking about getting that one, actually. My sister has the brown one, but I don't use it since doesn't flatter my skin.

Hi Hedley! Thanks! :) Stupid me swapped away my new gray and black stila smudgepots last Feb because I was using MAC already. Didn't think it'll dry up so soon =( Sayang!

  8. have you tried heating up the product? :) or putting a little baby oil in it? (with little, means a drop or two). (This is for the blacktrack. :D)

  9. Lady Mitchelli - Appreciate your recommendation, but I try to steer away from pencils because they melt on me. I have MUFE's Aqua Eyes eyeliner 01, which is supposed to have amazing staying power, but it's not good enough. =( Done your request, BTW!

Anonymous - I've tried submerging the pot in boiling water, it creamed it up a bit but it dried up after a couple of hours too. I'll try your suggestion - will mix it with oil AND use a blowdryer, I hope this strategy can resuscitate my Fluidline. Thanks :)
