Yves Rocher Reparation Hair Repair Oil

Hey guys!

Suffering from frizzy, dry hair? I used to. My hair has been damaged from all the chemicals it was exposed to. I stopped perming my hair for around two years now and I only colored my hair recently after a long while. I decided to give my hair better care so that my problems with it being frizzy and weak would be solved and also lessen hairfall.

One of the products that I used is the...

Yves Rocher Reparation Hair Repair Oil

I got this for free after I bought two shampoos from the brand (each shampoo was around PhP 500). I think you can get this 150ml bottle for around PhP 600-700.00. I'll update this post when I get the exact price.

Below is the product description from the labels:

And from the website:

Exceptionnal care for gorgeous hair.

Discover this genuine exceptional treatment! Enriched with restorative Babassu Oil and Macadamia Oil to nourish the scalp, this concentrate of rich oils offers strength* to the hair.
Result: the hair is ultra soft and shiny.
- Paraben free, colorant free, silicone free

JOJOBA OIL FOR ITS NOURISHING AND PROTECTIVE QUALITIES
Sometimes called desert gold, jojoba is stunningly rich. Yves Rocher Laboratories have selected the oil from organic jojoba seeds for its nourishing and protective qualities.

This oil is silicone free to treat the hair fibre without weighing it down and is tested under dermatological supervision. More than 99% natural ingredients.

How To: Apply twice a week to dry hair before using your shampoo, concentrating on the entire length of hair.
Leave on for 10 minutes.
Wash hair..

Ingredients: helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, ethylhexyl cocoate, brassica campestris (rapeseed) seed oil, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, borago officinalis seed oil, orbignya oleifera seed oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, parfum/fragrance, tocopherol, oleth-10

The product is oil and I use it as instructed. The fragrance is quite strong, but I really like how it smells so that's no biggie. I like the packaging—the bottle size, the design, and how it is dispensed (there's just a small hole and you shake the product off and small amounts of the oil goes out so you can control the amount you get easily).

So what do I think of it?
I like it. I really like it. Whenever I use this, my hair is shiny and smooth. It's not as soft as when I use some products with silicone, but what's important is how healthy my hair looks when I use this together with the shampoo and conditioner. The frizz lessened a lot and my hair looks shiny! It exceeded my expectations!

I do have to watch out on how much I put on because I already have an oily scalp. I could still wash it off with shampoo though. And sometimes I leave it on for more than 10 minutes. I don't really see any difference if I have it on longer, but I just mention it in case you are wondering. Haha!

I'm happy that I accidentally discovered this product and I will probably buy again once I run out. It will take a while though because I've only used 1/4 of the bottle and I've had this for five months.

Have you tried the Yves Rocher Reparation Hair Repair Oil yet?

Cheers,
DAWN
