Kiss Me Heroine Make Launches the Jewelry Eye Color Palettes

 Hello dears!

Three weeks ago, I was invited to attend the launch of Kiss Me Heroine Make's new eye makeup palettes. It was held at SM Makati's beauty section, just across Forever 21, as you can see at the photo below. ;)

It has been moooonths since the last time I was able to attend a blog event. My schedule has been super busy and I was just thankful that this one was held on a weekend and that the location was convenient for me since I will be meeting some friends late in the afternoon.

I really didn't want to miss this event because I really like the products that I have tried from Heroine Make. I've first tried them last year and so far, all of the items I've tried didn't disappoint me. That is why I want to know what the new products are and hopefully get the chance to try them out!

I got there just in time! The program hasn't started but there was yummy food! I absolutely enjoyed the maki. I also went around to check out the products... and look at this!

Eyeshadow palettes! Woooot! Last year, when I attended one of their events, I checked if they had eyeshadows because those were my favorite makeup. They didn't have that then so I was very happy that they now brought the palettes in the Philippines. Yayyy!

And I also saw the poster and in it was a familiar face. I first met Ms. Sayuri last year during the launch of Heroine Make. She was back again to introduce the new products as well as show us how to use them along with the other products of the brand.

Let's get to know more about the new products from the press release provided:

Japanese make-up brand Heroine Make launches new eye make-up at SM Makati

Heroine Make, the fastest rising best-loved cosmetic brand in Asia, manufactured by one of the largest Japanese cosmetics manufacturers since 1825, Isehan; and distributed by Mandom Philippines Corp., recently showcased its latest product the Jewelry Eye Color to a select crowd at SM Makati.

Staying true to the persona of the brand as reflected by their brand icon Princess Elisabeth Himeko to educate the women of the world on how to beautify themselves; the highlight of the intimate event was the tutorial and make-up demo conducted by make-up artist and beauty consultant from Japan Sayuri Igarashi. Miss Igarashi has had more than 25 years of experience in Japan, Europe and in Asia where she currently serves as the make-up artist of KISS ME Heroine Make.

Miss Igarashi said: “I am truly happy to have had the chance to do make-up for a number of Filipinas during the event. Filipinas as you know, are known the world-over to have beautiful, healthy skin which is in fact the best canvass for make-up.”

She further said that the products of KISS ME Heroine Make are perfect for the Asian skin and weather where the demand for “all-weather” make-up that withstands the rigors of heat, humidity, rain and sweat are ever increasing.

“The Jewelry Eye Color make-up that comes in four special variants: Yellow Sapphire, Beige Gold, Pink Amethyst, and Rose Garnet; is super long lasting, water proof, tear proof, sweat proof and smudge proof, perfect for the busy and active Filipina,” Igarashi adds.

During the event, Miss Igarashi personally sat down with the different guests to chat about techniques and proper methods. She gamely answered the multitude of questions and shared her secrets.

I really enjoyed the event and I love how quick and simple she made the different makeup looks. Using the new Jewelry Eye Color palettes, she was able to bring out the beautiful eyes of the ladies she did a makeover on.
I'm a fan of the day makeup look (the one on the left) and I've been copying that look for work recently. :D

I also met some familiar faces during the event! It's been a while since I last saw these girls.

Hi Kath and Genzel! :D

And I was able to take home two palettes from the Jewelry Eye Color line. I provided a photo of me using the eyeshadows.

Yellow Sapphire

This warm gold color looks gorgeous when paired with a red lipstick. ;)

Beige Gold

I got my favorite shade among the palettes available! Woot! I love the pinkish nude finish.

The eyeshadows are very pigmented and shimmery. They are soft as well and easy to blend together. I will post a separate post of my review about the Jewelry Eye Color palettes. I'll provide more pictures as well as swatches so I hope you can wait for that!

Have you tried any of the new eyeshadow palettes from the Jewelry Eye Color line? Which Kiss Me Heroine Make product/s do you like?

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. I have my eyes on Beige Gold. I gave my phone number to the sales lady Ate Angela in SM San Lazaro branch and she just texted me saying that Heroine Make will have 10% discount, and there's additional 10% discount during the first 2 hours on May 15, then if you have a total of 1,500 on any watson/sm beauty product then there's additional 10% making that a total of 30% discount :D

Just sharing a tip for all your other readers :D
