I love 90s and 2000s OPM music and I've always hoped that they get their second wind. But from time to time we get throwbacks like this and it just sends me to the moon.
Last night, Robinsons Malls together with Philippine Star and Jam 88.3, kick started the first of 6 concerts for this year's Soundbites Food and Music Festival Throwback. This is Robinsons Malls second time launching an event like this. Last year, they opened the festival with the iconic Side A, and this year, they treat us with smooth sound of South Border with a special performance from Mr. Luke Mejares.
The event was opened by Ms. Jessica Reynoso, a finalist in The Voice Philippines season 1 under Apl.de.ap's team.
Then we moved on to the main act. South Border opened with the feel good vibe of Rainbow. They then followed with their most memorable songs like Ikaw Nga, Love of My Life, Kahit Kailan, Wherever You Are, and Sa'yo. They also treated their fans with their own rendition of Eric Gadd's Do You Believe in Me and Bruno Mar's Treasure.
Happy reunion right?
What's a festival without food right? The night's dinner was provided by Akira, Teppanyaki All-You-Can
But don't fret. There are still more concerts to come and getting a free ticket is easy. All you have to do is dine in any of the Robinsons participating restaurants in the dates specified below and redeem your wrist tags. See below picture for the complete detail or visit
It's that simple. So for all you 90s and 2000s OPM fans, this is your chance to see your favorite band live. Catch them on their specified dates and Robinsons Malls. Hope this continues until the coming years.
Also, we'd like to thank the organizers for these cool giveaways
and for this amazing bag.
Cheers,
LIZ
