Liz and I were invited to Canmake PH's Spring/Summer Collection Launch last Thursday at Shangri La Hotel, Makati. Besides the launch, they will also celebrate the opening of their third branch located at Glorietta 2!
We came in early. We were one of the first few to arrive so I took the privilege to take photos of the place...
Canmake products and posters were decorated around the stage...
A makeup station and a makeup chair were prepared on the stage which made us assume that there'll be a makeup tutorial on the event.
Cute paperbags with cute products inside were also prepared and displayed near the entrance.
And once we were seated, we were given press materials. With this, we had an idea on what we will be talking about during the event.
But before the main event started, we get to enjoy these!
Delicious food from meat pies and quiche to sweet cream puffs and cookies.
We first had an introduction of what Canmake is about along with the new products in their Spring/Summer collection for this year. I'm so thankful that Ms. Sachi Ogawa brought Canmake to the Philippines. We can finally enjoy these cutesy, budget-friendly products!
We also got to see the products in action! Ms. Bea Almeda, their chief makeup artist, gave us tutorials on how to create two kawaii looks using the Canmake goodies!
First was the Kawaii Day Makeup. The look was very natural and it looked like the model's skin was glowing when the makeup was done.
The second look was the Kawaii Night Makeup. The look had bold eyeliners which I believe is the star of the look.
After the tutorials, we got to know the skincare products that Canmake offers.
We learned that Canmake actually made their products according to the Philippines' climate. They altered the products so that it blends better with our skin in this very humid climate in our country.
The products are also very mild and effective. Who would know that the girls on the picture above are 37 and 40 years old? Amazing, right?
Afterwards, we got to try the products for ourselves.
Look at our fellow bloggers and guests having fun playing with the cutesy Canmake products! Items that stood out for us were the Eyeshadow Base, Face Powders, Eyebrow Gel, and the skincare range catered for oily and combination skin (mine and Liz's skin types respectively).
And oh! Before we left, we had polaroid pictures taken! :P
After the event, we went to Glorietta to check out their newest branch. It's located at the Somera boutique (Glorietta 2 beside Sunnies by Charlie).
Half of the store is occupied by Canmake and you'll see the pretty products displayed on the well-designed, princessy themed shelves. There were so many people inside that taking pictures became a bit hard. I wasn't able to take much photos, not even the outside area of the store. It just shows how excited people were that Canmake is now available in Glorietta.

Stay tuned for our reviews on these babies! It'll be our first time to try products from Canmake and so far, during a couple of days of usage, we have nothing but love for these. Hopefully it stays as we continue to test and review them. :)
