Bunga Citra Lestari is an Indonesian singer and actress that have graced the screens of many across South East Asia. Affectionately known to her fans as BCL, she’s also a beauty and fashion icon that exudes style, beauty and femininity.

The packaging is sleek and simple. It's cased in a black plastic compact. The design is also simple with just the metallic fonts in hot pink. I really appreciate this because it is travel-friendly and doesn't use too much space in my makeup case. It also has a mirror large enough for me to use when I apply makeup during travels... that is if there's no larger mirror available.

It does not come with any applicator which is fine because I have my own set of makeup brushes. I don't usually use the applicators that come in palettes anyway unless they are really good.

When you open the palette, you can see the beautiful shades available. There is one matte shade, two chunky glittery shades, and the rest are shimmery ones.

You can clearly see which ones are the "sunrise" and which are the shades for "moonrise." But what's great is that you can mix them together and create different looks depending on your mood.

When I first saw this palette, I squeaaalllleed with glee! I LOVE CHUNKY POWDER EYESHADOWS! Plus, the colors are the usual shades I go for when I use eyeshadows. It's like a palette designed for me... except it's designed by someone else. Haha! I love the taste of BLC. Her selection is absolutely awesome!

The Sunrise look:

I added a gold eyeliner using the Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter in Gold Light to add more sparkles.

And here's my Moonlight look:

I added the Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter in Pink Light to add a mystical effect.

Finally, here's a combo look I made using various shades from the palette:

I love how buttery smooth the eyeshadows are. They aren't powdery and chalky. Paired with a good eyeshadow primer, this baby can last a whole day on my oily lids. They feel lightweight and very pigmented. I'm just in love with this palette! Seriously, I don't have anything bad to say about this. It's one of my favorite things in my makeup collection right now.
