Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master (Nude Collection) in Nude Orange

Hey girlies!

Looking for a fun orange lippie? Then look no further!

Let me introduce to you this product from Tony Moly...

Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master (Nude Collection) in Nude Orange

This lippie costs Php 548.00

It has a shelf life of a year.

I really like the sleek packaging of this one. It looks very classy but there's a hint of playfulness there because of the chosen font.

The applicator is a little slanted for easier application and I like that this doe-foot applicator can hold much product that can cover my whole lips.

A swatch on my hand

And here it is on my lips

It gives a nice, pigmented, glossy orange that makes your lips looking luscious and fun.

And that's me with the lippie on.

The color really brightens up the face. I love that this lip color never dried my lips and that it smells super nice—very fruity! Although staying power isn't that great... maybe it will stay for a good 3 hours without any major eating or drinking.

And if you want to add more fun to your lips, why not add a gradient effect? This lip color is a great base for that. I just add a nice red shade near the inner areas of my lips. Check it out below.

The colors remind me of an apple mango. So cute!

So what do you think of the Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master in Nude Orange? Would you wear a shade like this? Have you tried their other colors?

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania

Hi dears!

I've been loving really dark lipsticks lately and the one I'll be sharing today is something I've been using often. I really like how dark it is but can still be worn casually (at least for my taste), unlike those shades that are almost black or too chocolatey...

So here's the...

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Transylvania
I bought it for around P300 at the SM Department store, SM North. But you can purchase this in a more affordable price at some online stores.

I've been a fan of some of the shades of the Soft Matte Lip Cremes. You can check them out here.

But the main reasons why I love this product are that it has great lasting power, the matte finish is beautiful, inexpensive, the scent is very yummy, and application is very easy. :)

It's been a while since I bought another one though (almost three years!). But I just can't ignore this one when I passed by their stall. The color looks black but when I swatched it, it gives a dark, bloody, plum color! Rawr!

This is the applicator

And here's the swatch

Gorgeous, right? I just gotta have it when I swatched it on my hand.

It really looks awesome when applied it's just that it really shows when I have dry lips so better moisturize them first. :D

And that's all for today! I'll be catching up on ZZZZZ's for the rest of the day/night. Haha!

Do you like wearing dark lip colors too?

MAC Beth Ditto Collection Pro Longwear Lipcreme in BOOYAH!!!

Hello loves!

I've been seeing a lot of orange lately (maybe because of all the pumpkin designs from the halloween celebration a couple of weeks ago or maybe it's just the color of the fall season) so I thought that I should share this super beautiful and vibrant orange lipstick that I bought from my friend.

MAC Beth Ditto Collection Pro Longwear Lipcreme in BOOYAH!!!

She was selling this because she didn't like the shade on her and she only used it once so I immediately, without any hesitation, told her that I'm taking it! The shade just looks fabulous! I'm not a fan of orange but this one is just gorgeous!

And this is a limited edition Pro Longwear Lipcream. It's my first Pro Longwear lippie too!

I really like the Pro Longwear packaging. It looks so sexy and smooth! I like that it's a little slimmer and taller than the classic lipstick from the brand.

The shade of the lipstick is a vibrant orange with a little red.

Swatch on hand

And on my lips

And here's me using the lipstick.

I love the pigmentation and I also like how creamy it is. It looks so opaque and matte but it's not very drying and it stays super long on my lips. But it does make it obvious when you have dry lips so better moisturize and exfoliate them before wearing this lippie.

So what are your thoughts on this lipstick? Would you wear a shade like this? :D

OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Laguna Beach

Hey dears!

I got a new lippie that I'm super obsessed with!
And this is the first product I've used from this brand. I actually wasn't aware of the brand before I received this from my August Glamourbox.

OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Laguna Beach
Php 950.00

So let's get to know the product better from the packaging... errr... that's just the ingredients list. :P

And more info from the website:

One step full lip color that does not feather. These vibrant colors will give you a vivacious look. They are creamy and soft in texture, moisturizing the lips and creating a long lasting lipstick effect. All shades contain antioxidants and Vitamin E while the formula provides a lightweight layer of lasting color to make you feel fresh all day. Color will last in a perfect condition up to five hours without eating or drinking.

So my first thoughts were... it's Php 950.00??? That's quite expensive! I dunno much about the brand so I was really shocked that this liquid lipstick costs that much. It doesn't look like it. The packaging is sooo lacking in the design factor and the materials don't look like anything special either. In other words, it looks cheap. I guess I don't feel like it looks like the price. But it does carry 8g of product so that's quite a lot for a lipstick. :)

I was just hoping that the quality will make up for the packaging... and I'm very happy to say that it does!

The applicator is a doe foot applicator. This can cover my lips. No need to double dip!

A swatch on my hand

You can definitely see the beautiful creamy texture of the lipstick. The pigmentation is super awesome too. This reminds me of the ELF Studio Lip Stain and the NYX Soft Matte Cream Lipstick. Click here for my comparison. The thick pigmentation is like NYX's but the buttery consistency is definitely like ELF's!

I love the shade so much! This is one of my all-time favorite shade of pink. This lipstick became an instant go-to lippie for my everyday makeup.

Here's the lipstick applied on my lips.
It emphasizes the lines of my lips but I really don't mind that. If you do, then I suggest you skip the matte finish and just add some gloss.

This liquid lipstick is super long-lasting. It can last the whole day and will only start to fade when you eat or drink. I'm very impressed and I am an absolute fan of the shade! And oh, the scent is super yummy vanilla! My favorite! :D :D :D

If it weren't for the price, I'd get more shades but I think I will have to refrain from buying many... maybe one or two shades only... for now...? Haha! Or I could always go for a cheaper alternative. ;)

Anyway, what are your thoughts on the OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Laguna Beach?

San San Makeup Organizer

 Hi everyone!

Last Saturday, I went to HBC Robinsons Manila to pick up a blogger kit and a little surprise for you, readers!
But I won't reveal the surprise in this post yet!

Anyway, the blogger kit contained this San San organizer.
I do have a clue on what it was the moment I opened the paper bag because I've seen this while I was picking the the kits up.
I even already swatched the products. Haha!

Anyway, included in the kit is a letter and here's what it says,

 So sweet right?
Lorie remembered that I just graduated. :)
Thank you so much! :D

Anyway, back to the San San Makeup Organizer

The cover is of faux leather surface. It has an embroidered San San Logo at the bottom right.
When you open it, this is what you see:

 An organizer with makeup!
I do agree that this is very fitting for students and on-the-go women. You get to look pretty as well as organized with all the tasks you need to do. :)

It also has a big mirror inside which I really like!
And the makeup is covered by a thick, clear plastic that protects the product for hygienic purposes.

The pages have big areas on where you can write on and a small area where you can put the date and remarks on. It is also refillable although I think you have to buy/ make the paper that will fit the holes.

And of course, the best part of the organizer, the makeup!
It includes a pressed powder, blush, eyeshadow, and lip cream. It also has a blush brush, eyeshadow applicator, lip brush and a sponge. At the back of the pages of the notebook, you will see the ingredients list of the makeups included.

Here's a closeup of the makeup included:

 and swatches!

Here are my thoughts on each makeup:
The pressed powder is matte. Quite nice for retouching and removing the shine on your face from oiliness. It's not entirely transparent but I do think it can suit most Filipina skin color.

The blush is of rosy pink color. My favorite in the kit. It gives a natural rosy cheeks finish.

The eyeshadow is shimmery bronze. Quite pigmented but kinda powdery. Decent staying power except if you have oily lids like me. :P

And finally, the lip cream is translucent rosy red with tiny glitters. It makes your lips look healthy and glossy. Staying power is not so good. Just like most lip glosses, needs constant application since it is easily removed when you eat, drink, and the like.

 Summary:

LIKES:
♥ Quite handy since it already has your makeup essentials plus a notepad where you can write important things to do and such
♥ It's a local product! Support Pinoy products!
♥ I love the colors selected to create the palette. They are very basic and would look good in most skin tone
♥ Affordable
♥ I love the blush color!
♥ Since it's from HBC, expect that the makeup has vitamins too!
♥ The notepad has a nice spacing to it. I like big-spaced areas for writing since I have big handwriting.
♥ Love the big mirror included in the organizer
♥ Good for on-the-go people
♥ Easy to carry. It's as big as most planners/organizers or probably even smaller

DISLIKES:
♥ The packaging could have been made more classy
♥ Amount of product, especially for the pressed powder, is too little
♥ Staying power of some of the products aren't impressive
♥ Some of the makeup has paraben

Personally, I don't mind bringing a bulky kikay kit. I do my makeup according to my mood so I don't settle with the same colors everyday.
But I do think that a makeup organizer is quite handy especially for those busy people who carry a lot of things around or those who do not have the time to fix their kikay kits often. I think it is also suitable for those who are just starting to use makeup since the palette included has the basic makeup already.

So what do you think of San San's Makeup Organizer?
Do you think it's a good idea to mix makeup with your notes?

Cheers!
