L.A. Girl Creme Lipstick in Forbidden Love

Hello dearies!

I don't think I can ever have enough pinkish/peachy nude lippies. I think I own almost 10 of them when I decided to buy this one last month...

L.A. Girl Creme Lipstick in Forbidden Love
I bought this for PhP 299.00 at SM Manila's Department Store.

This is my first product from the brand... I guess I just bought this mostly because I want to try something from L.A. Girl. I didn't have any intentions of buying a lipstick when I strolled around the department store but when I saw their stall, I got curious and among their products, this lipstick caught my eye because of its shade. I love "almost nude" shades so I just had to swatch it! I saw how pigmented it was and I just grabbed one and toss it in my shopping basket. :P

Around the seal of the lipstick packaging, you'll see the shade's name and the other important details such as the shelf life and ingredients.

You have to peel it off to use the product though. Good thing I took a picture of the labels first. :P

Product description from the website:

Luxury Creme' Lipstick delivers ultra-rich colors in a lightweight formula. Its blend of moisturizing ingredients of aloe, shea butter & vitamin E enhances lips, leaving a smoother, healthier feel. Glides on effortlessly with the slant top, for-flawless even coverage.

The brand's Creme Lipstick range is quite wide. At the website, it has twenty four shades available!

Anyway, let's focus on this shade...

Here's a closeup of the product and at it's full length.

Swatch on hand

I got that opaque peachy nude shade in one swipe. Nice, right?

On the lips

I love how pigmented the product is, but I was immediately turned off by the scent. :( I really wish I smelled it before I bought it. The scent is like some chemical that I can't really point out... I first thought that I will outgrow it but the scent is just too strong. Ugh. Well, after a few minutes, you won't notice the scent anymore... I guess it's because the nose has adapted to the scent by then.

I still use the lipstick. I still think that the shade and pigmentation is really good. Just look at how bright it makes my face look...

I wish they can do something on the formula to improve the scent. And maybe a cuter package design? Haha! Other than that, I really like the lippie! The shade is my kind of lipstick... it's something that I can use in many makeup looks.

What do you think of the L.A. Girl Creme Lipstick in Forbidden Love? :)

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Urban Orchid

Hello loves!

I want to share with you this new and very sexy lipstick shade from Too Cool For School!

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Urban Orchid
Php 435.00

This is my third Hot Girl Lip Sticker (click HERE to see the others). What I love about these lipsticks is that it's just so bold and vibrant. It's one of the first bold lipstick range I found from a Korean makeup brand. I loved it when I first tried it two years ago, and I still love it until now.

I really like this pocket-sized packaging. It carries 2g of product and this can easily fit in your kikay kit and... your pocket!

The shade is a bright pink shade with cool undertones.

I think this can be a more affordable dupe for one of my favorite lipsticks, NARS Schiap, but this is slightly darker... just a tiny bit. And it also has a semi-matte finish!

See this beautiful swatch? I got that in just one swipe. It's so rich in color!

The vibrant color is so eye-catching and beautiful that it is automatically the star of your look!

Staying power is awesome. It can last a whole day (that is, if you won't be eating or drinking much). And it didn't cause any drying for my lips. It's a really good lipstick and it's something I can wear during the day or night, in the office or at a concert! It can make your look so sexy, girly, and fun all at the same time!

So what do you think of the Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Urban Orchid? Do you wear shades like this as well?

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Lip and Cheek Duo Palette in Celebrity and Diva

Hey dearies!

Do you love cream blushes? Looking for a great bronzer and blush duo, which also happens to be a great lip product too? Then let me introduce to you this lovely product from Ellana Mineral Cosmetics...

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Lip and Cheek Duo Palette in Celebrity and Diva
This palette is worth Php 460.00.

It's housed in this beautiful compact with an illustration by Soleil Ignacio. This has a mirror and I like that it isn't bulky so it's easy to fit it in your vanity bag. And in case you are wondering, it doesn't come in an applicator.

Labels at the bottom of the packaging

I bought this because I've read some great reviews on this product and my sister, Trace, mentioned that she wants the Diva shade. She's still in Australia though but I'm planning on visiting her this year so I'll let her try this one first then I'll buy her a new one if she'll like it. :)

The cool, bold pink shade is Celebrity while the warm, metallic bronze is Diva.

The swatches

They are so vibrant and pigmented! I got those intense colors in just one swatch! They have a buttery smooth texture that is so easy to spread whether on the lips or on the cheeks. It feels light on skin too. I don't feel like I added any sticky creams on my cheeks which I encountered in some cream blushes I've tried before.

Celebrity on my lips

Diva on my lips

They look gorgeous as lip products. Celebrity would be great for an everyday wear. Pair it with a thick eye liner and you will look pretty and chic! Diva, on the other hand, would definitely help achieve that Bronze Goddess look!

And here's how it looks like on my cheek.

Left picture: Without any product
Right picture: Applied Diva as bronzer

I used Diva as contour to add definition to my face. It is sort of close to my color so it's not too visible and I don't really want to over-bronze myself, especially since the weather now is a bit cold. Anyway, you can still achieve a bronzier look because the shades are buildable and blending is uber easy too!

Applied Celebrity on the cheek

Celebrity gave my cheek a bright, rosy glow! You can also control the intensity of the shade very easily. You can use either your fingers of a stippling brush for these products. I find using the fingers easier though.

I love the finish of both shades. They give a dewy look which looks so natural on my face. My concern though is my oily face and that it doesn't last very long on me (Celebrity lasts longer compared to Diva but I think it is because the color is bolder). What I do is I tap a translucent powder on my cheeks with a Kabuki brush. Don't worry about caking because I haven't encountered any of that when I use them with powder on top. The powder will surely help with the lasting power of the product but it can take away the dewy finish. But it is a price I am willing to pay so that I can retain the rosy glow for a longer time. :)

And those are my thoughts on the Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Lip and Cheek Duo Palette in Celebrity and Diva. Let me know your thoughts on the palette!

Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master (Nude Collection) in Nude Orange

Hey girlies!

Looking for a fun orange lippie? Then look no further!

Let me introduce to you this product from Tony Moly...

Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master (Nude Collection) in Nude Orange

This lippie costs Php 548.00

It has a shelf life of a year.

I really like the sleek packaging of this one. It looks very classy but there's a hint of playfulness there because of the chosen font.

The applicator is a little slanted for easier application and I like that this doe-foot applicator can hold much product that can cover my whole lips.

A swatch on my hand

And here it is on my lips

It gives a nice, pigmented, glossy orange that makes your lips looking luscious and fun.

And that's me with the lippie on.

The color really brightens up the face. I love that this lip color never dried my lips and that it smells super nice—very fruity! Although staying power isn't that great... maybe it will stay for a good 3 hours without any major eating or drinking.

And if you want to add more fun to your lips, why not add a gradient effect? This lip color is a great base for that. I just add a nice red shade near the inner areas of my lips. Check it out below.

The colors remind me of an apple mango. So cute!

So what do you think of the Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master in Nude Orange? Would you wear a shade like this? Have you tried their other colors?

Too Cool For School Max in Pocket in No. 2 Pink Pink

Hey guys!

Obsessed with super cute makeup packaging? Then this one from Too Cool For School is something you must check out!

Too Cool For School Max in Pocket in No. 2 Pink Pink
Php 605.00

What I super love about this is the kitty design because... who doesn't love kittens?

So why are the words "in pocket" included in the name? It's because this product is something you can carry around with ease anywhere.

It comes with a chain you can use to attach this lip product to your wallets, purses, car keys, or even on your bracelets or necklaces!

You just attach the chain at the back of the case!

Mine is attached to my coin purse. I like that I can go do simple errands the whole day like get some groceries and pay the bills and still have luscious pink lips!

It also comes with a small compact mirror! Cute!

Sure that this product looks good and is very portable, but how does it look? Well, just check the swatch below.

It's glossy but quite pigmented. It's very pink but still sort of translucent to keep it simple and fun.

I apply this with a lip brush because it is more hygienic compare to just your fingers. I just slip in the brush in my purse and I am good to go!

Here's the product on my lips

My lips look so plump and luscious. It's not overly glossy and it doesn't feel greasy. It barely has any scent and no flavor too in case you're expecting any.

And that's me!

Isn't the color so gorgeous? It's very girly and simple that it is something you can use everyday! And why not? It's something you can bring along with you with ease anyway!

So what are your thoughts on the Too Cool For School Max in Pocket in No. 2 Pink Pink?
