Hello loves!
Whenever I do my makeup, I usually prefer using powder blushes and powder highlighters because I have oily skin and I find that the powders help in controlling the oil better. But now that I am nearing my late 30s, I have noticed that my skin is not as oily as before. I have recently appreciated using liquid and cream makeup as they sit well on my skin now as it is less greasy after a long period of time... It is still oily, but not as oily though!
I came across this SHEGLAM highlighter and it was on sale and I was like, hmmm I guess I can try it out...
SHEGLAM Glow Bloom Liquid Highlighter in Vanilla Frost
I saw this on sale at a Don Quijote branch... I think I was in Taiwan... if not, then in Tokyo. I can't really remember.
The shade is called Vanilla Frost.
I don't really use liquid highlighters much, but since I've gone older, my skin is less oily and when I travel and were in a colder climate, using liquid makeup on my face just feels and looks better.
It is housed in a twist-up tube with a doe foot applicator.
This is a swipe of the product on my arm.
And when blended.
It's a bit too cool toned for my skin. It really is like a frosty vanilla with fine silver shimmers. I honestly like warmer highlighters on me but I can still make this one work when paired with the right blush. When applied, it is very easy to blend and to make it last longer, set it with a transluscent powder.
That's all for the SHEGLAM Glow Bloom Liquid Highlighter in Vanilla Frost. What are your thoughts on the product?
Cheers,
DAWN
