Too Cool For School Morocco Ghassoul Foam Cleanser

Hey dears!

Some months ago, I was able to take home this cleanser when I covered a branch opening of Too Cool for School. This is one of the products I received...

Too Cool For School Morocco Ghassoul Foam Cleanser

The Morocco Ghassoul line of the brand is not a stranger to Liz and I. Liz actually did a short review of their cream pack and I also used the Rules of Pore Magic Pore Balm which is pretty much near the same line because it deals with large pore problems. :P

The 150 ml tube is PhP 519.00.

But before I go on to my short review, here's the product description from the website:

The caption is a little small but you can click the photo for a larger view... but since I'm trying to not be lazy, I'll just type it below. :P

Why we love it
Contains 5% Moroccan mud and deeply cleanses the skin without stripping off its natural moisture.

What else you need to know
- Pulverized Ghassoul grains deeply cleanses pores and exfoliates skin
- Recommended to people with oily and troubled skin

How to use it
1. Apply suitable amount on hands
2. Make lots of bubbles with your hands
3. Massage lightly on face
4. Rinse with water

Beauty Tip
Use Facial Washing Bubble Net to create more bubbles!

Additional details on the back of the tube:

I like the packaging. Besides pump bottles, I like my cleansers in easy-to-squeeze tubes. It's easy to dispense the product and I don't waste any of it because I can easily cut the tube out to get the little amount left inside when I'm about to finish it.

It is scented and it smells clean and pleasant. The product looks like a very pale beige shade that's thick and creamy. Only a little bit of product, maybe a pea size, is needed to wash the whole face. When you massage it, it lathers pretty good. It doesn't create much bubbles but it creates a creamy foam.

After I wash my face with this, my face feels very clean but not dry. It effectively removes the excess sebum from my oily skin but it doesn't strip it off with all of the natural oils, I believe. My skin still feels soft. It also effectively cleans my face from dirt, dead skin, and from the remaining makeup that might not have been completely removed by my makeup remover. I also didn't have any irritations nor breakouts when I use this, so yay!

I like this cleanser. I have nothing negative to say about it... well, I guess the price is a bit higher compared to the cleansers from other Korean skin brands, but I guess this is still within the price range that I am willing to spend my money on for skincare.

I guess that's about it for today's post!
Have you tried the Too Cool For School Morocco Ghassoul Foam Cleanser yet?

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam

Hi guys!

While I was washing my face, I realized that the cleanser I was using was almost done. Another thing I realized is that I haven't blogged about it! Haha! And that is why I will be giving my quick thoughts on this...

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam

This was included in a limited edition Best Seller Collection I bought a year and a half ago but I only opened it around 5 months ago.

This tube only holds 80ml and is not the full size. This is slightly smaller and is only sold in the set. The product sold individually holds 150ml.

Check out what the product is about on the label:

Info from the website:

Soft, creamy lather provides gentle cleansing that last during cleansing.
(huh?)

Get adequate amount for foam. Massage gently all over the face and rinse it off with lukewarm water

This is what the cleanser looks like. It is pearly white and it foams up well when water is added and massaged on skin.

To be honest, I find most Korean cleansing foams, no matter what brand, very similar. So I'm not expecting too much from this, but I am curious though as to why this was included in the Best Seller Collection. It must be pretty good, right?

So I tried it the first time five months ago. It has a pleasant, mild scent. I can't distinguish it but it has a bit of a floral smell... I'm bad at describing scents, I know. :P As I said, it foams up when massaged with water. My first impression was it's good. I feel refreshed after washing my face.

So I've been using it since then. Most of you probably know that I use makeup every time I go out of the house and that my foundation is mostly with heavy coverage so removing makeup takes time for me. After I use a makeup remover, I wash my face with a cleanser and right now, I use this one. What I like about this is that whenever I use this after the makeup remover part, my face is clean of makeup! I bet that if you only apply light makeup, it can remove your makeup without the makeup remover part. It doesn't remove waterproof mascaras well though like the one from Heroine Make and Majolica Majorca.

And even though it thoroughly cleanses the face from dirt and makeup, my face does not encounter any drying! For the brightening effect, I don't know. I don't see it. Maybe I will have to use the entire line for that? I can't say. :P

Overall, I recommend it! It cleanses my skin from dirt and makeup (post-makeup remover of course) and I don't experience drying nor irritation. I understand now why it's among The Face Shop's best sellers.

And those were my thoughts on The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam. If you have tried this, please share your experience with it. I'd like to know if you liked it as well. :)

Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam

Hey everyone!

Etude House has a new cleansing foam that is a must to check out! If you battle breakouts like I do, then it's really important that you clean your pores well because having clogged pores can give you those horrible pimples that we most certainly want to avoid. And this line, the Baking Powder Line, claims to deal with cleaning the impurities off our pores.

And I was able to try out one of them, the Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam.

This was sent to me for review and I was happy to do so. When I read that this is a gentle product for the skin that promises to thoroughly clean your pores and also gently exfoliates the skin really made me excited to try this out.

At the back of the product, you'll see that claim and there are also important info you would like to check out.

So what is it with Baking Soda anyway??? Why is it the main ingredient in this skin care line?

Baking Soda is a popular household item that can also act as a beauty product with various uses such as teeth whitening, deodorant, and even forskin care. Baking Soda, for the skin, can help exfoliate and help treat acne. I found this website which explains why and what you can do with this wonderful product.

So let's go to the product now...

I've been using this for a couple of weeks and here are my thoughts about it:

- You can really feel those very fine grains that help exfoliate and get rid of extra dirt in the pores.
- After washing my face after a long day at work and wearing makeup, I feel like my skin is very clean. When I use my toner with a cotton pad all over my face, the cotton pad didn't get much dirt. The cleansing foam did it's job cleaning my face well! But I still used a makeup remover prior the cleansing part.
- I find that a 170ml amount of product for only P328.00 is a good deal.
- I use this twice to thrice a week because anything with exfoliation makes me feel worried about my skin. I believe exfoliation shouldn't be done daily.
- A small amount, probably a pea size, will do. It foams up really well!
- The scent is very mild and reminds me of some fruity smell.
- After rinsing, my face feels clean but it never made it feel dry.
- So far, I don't have any major breakouts but do take note that I also use some anti-acne products along with this one.

I really like this product and I would definitely want to try the other ones too! Check out this part of Etude House PH's October Press Release regarding the range:

Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam (Tea Tree) No. 6

Hey loves!

Every single one of us has skin issues that we have to address. That's why many brands create different skincare products for us to use to take care of those problems. To tell you the truth, I used to have a hard time picking which product to use. I was shy to ask for instructions from beauty assistants back then and it took me a while before I learned the basics to skincare.

But good news to all my fellow Etude House lovers for Etude House has came up with a products that has 12 variants that address different skin concerns.

A few weeks ago, I was received this cleanser that is made for troubled skin. I was thrilled to know that because I do have troubled skin and this cleanser, equipped with Tea Tree, can help me with that problem.

Cleansers are important for proper skincare. We have to make sure that we clean our face especially before going to sleep. We use this daily so it's better that we use something that suits our skin and Etude House is bringing us just that. Check out their 12 Every Month Cleansing Foams:

So take your pick of which one is best for your skin. I'm sure there's one waiting for you from the 12 variants! And what's even better is that these 100ml cleansing foams are only  Php 198.00!

As for the one I got, the No. 6 Tea Tree, it works pretty good in making my face clean after a whole day at work with makeup on. I still use makeup removers, especially for the waterproof eye makeup. After that, this cleansing foam does the trick on cleaning up the rest of the makeup I have on.

The scent is the usual tea tree scent. Very herb-y smell that is quite refreshing in my opinion. I believe that each variant has a different scent. Now I'm curious to check each of them out!

This foams up pretty well too. Just a small amount can cover your whole face. Awesome!

This is how the product looks but I believe each cleansing foam looks different from the other depending on what skin type it caters to. Some are gel-like while some are cream type like the one I have.

So why not check out these cleansing foams from Etude House? I'm sure there is one to your liking. They are very affordable and they also effectively clean your face without causing any dryness to your skin! :)

My One Month with Relumins Acne Clear Range (Review)

Hey everyone!

I have so many skin concerns that I am currently trying to fix. One of those (and probably the one I've been struggling with the longest) is my acne problem. This runs in the family—both my parents, my brother, and my sister shared the same problem. I've been dealing with this half my life and so I quickly agreed to use this skincare when I was offered to review this by flawlessbeautyandskincareph.com.

I received this kit more than a month ago and it is comprised of four skincare products:

Relumins Advance White Acne Clear Foam

Relumins Advance White Acne Clear Soap

Relumins Advance White Acne Clear Solution

Relumins Advance White Acne Clear Serum

The whole set is worth Php 1,900.00.

Here are some info about the products and how to use them from the website:

This brand new set of Relumins Acne Clear products are formulated with multi-active ingredients that work synergistically to fight against acne. The result is naturally clear, healthy-looking skin.

• Reduce enlargement of sebaceous gland
• Helps reduce acne and prevent future breakouts with Salicylic Acid, naturally derived from Willow Bark
• Promotes Collagen biosynthesis
• Peels off clogged pores

• Prevent aggravation of acne due to environmental and mental stress

Relumins is dedicated to bringing you safe and effective products to help you achieve your personal best beauty results with advanced solutions from nature.

INGREDIENTS:
Water, EDTA, Virgin Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Aloe, Salicylic Acid,
Rehmannia Chinensis Root , Soybean Seed , Pear Ferment, Willow Bark Extract , Neem leaf , Phelledendron Amurense Bark Extract ,Scutellaria baicalensis root, Houttuynia Cordata Extract

Directions for use:
1. Wet skin and gently lather face and body with Relumins Acne Clear Soap. Rinse thoroughly.
2. Pump cleanser (Relumins Acne Clear Foam Facial Wash) into your hands and work into lather. Massage lather onto skin with a gentle, circular motion, avoiding contact with the delicate eye area. Rinse and pat dry with a soft towel.
3. Apply Relumins Acne Clear Solution (Toner) directly on face, moving outward up and under chin and neck.
4. Apply Relumins Acne Clear Serum on active blemishes.

*** Use foam facial wash, toner and serum AM and PM.

SAFETY: Before use, perform a SPOT TEST to test for sensitivity as follows: Apply to the intended area of use for up to one 30 seconds.  If rash, burning or inflammation occur, immediately remove the product from skin and discontinue all further use.

I use the facial foam and the soap interchangeably on my face but I also use the soap on my body that has some acne as well.

I use the products everyday in the morning and in the evening. The set lasted around a month and a week (but I still have a few of the soap left). During the month that I used this, I never encountered any irritations.

I documented my face every two weeks to see the effects on my face. See the pictures below:

The third pic was taken in a slightly dimmer room. I didn't get two-three tones darker. :P

Anyway, as you can see on the photos, there wasn't really a change on my skin condition. I still get a few breakouts here and there and the time it took to heal my acne and dark scars is pretty much the same as when I use my other skincare products. It's not bad but I just want a faster acting treatment for my skin.

But it still did some good bits like lessen the redness of my skin and also, it's really good at cleaning your face, especially after a long day at work and wearing makeup.

I'm not fully convinced with the products to be honest so I don't think I'll continue using them. I guess they are just not that compatible with my skin. So for now, I'm still on the search for the best skincare for me. Good news is, I just received other skincare goodies to try. :D
