EOTD : Seeing Green

Hi dears!

Just sharing this EOTD I did a few days ago...

I just wanted something simple but different from the other looks I've tried.

I saw my matte lime green eyeliner and I thought of doing a look using mostly greens.

These are the products I used.

And here are some closeup shots of my eyes:

Simple but eye-catching because of the pop of green!
I paired this EOTD with a peach blush and a soft pink lippie.

And of course, I had to take vanity pics! :P

What do you think of this look?
Would you wear something like this too?

Cheers,

Amuse Long Eye Pencil in Gold

Hi beauties!

Sharing with you my quick thoughts and some swatches of this product I received from my January The Salad Box.

Amuse Long Eye Pencil in Gold
This is Php 150.00 each when you order at Salad Box. Not sure if this is available elsewhere.

The shade I got is Gold.

This is one of the few products I have from the brand (I also have a lip liner).

Here are some info from Salad box's website about this particular product:

The SaladBox Take
With colors ranging from neutrals like brown and black to fun shades like gold and ocean blue, this eyeliner is definitely a must-have. Contrary to existing reviews, Amuse eye liners are soft, pigmented, and very easy to apply.

Other info is labeled on the pencil itself

How to Use
Keeping your hands as steady as possible, draw a thin line on your lash line. Keep your liner tidy with the sharpener.

Here's a closeup of the pencil.

Swatch on paper

Swatch on arm

Applied on the bottom of my eyes

This is quite soft and glides smoothly on skin that's why it's easy to use. Pigmentation is good as well! Lasting power isn't that impressive especially if you get oily easily.

What's good about it is that it is long so it will last you a while and get your money's worth.

So that's all for my review on Amuse Long Eye Pencil in Gold!
Have you tried any Amuse products yet? Which one?

Cheers!

Amuse Soft Lipliner in Hot Pink

Hello guys!

Just a quick swatch post for today.

I got this product 2 months ago from Salad box. I don't really use lip liners since I think my lips are well defined already but I guess it's good that you keep a nice color in your stash. You never know when you might be needing a good lip liner!

Amuse Soft Lipliner in Hot Pink

This is Php150.00 each.

My Salad Box Letter describes this product as:

"Get more defined lips using this soft and very pigmented lip liner from Amuse."

The shade I got is Hot Pink. I would prefer having a nude lip pencil since it would go with everything but a nice hot pink won't hurt. I love bold colors and Hot Pink is one of my favorite lip colors.

The liner is unscented. It is soft and glides to your skin smoothly.

Here's a swatch on my hand.

As seen on the picture above, it really is pigmented! :)

I apologize for the lazy lining of the lips. I don't really use this kind of makeup. Haha! But anyway, this would work really well as a guide and to define your lips further. Having a pretty hot pink shade of lippie, or even any other pink shade if blended well, would make all the difference with this liner on.

I could even use this as a lippie! Just look at how nice it is as a matte lipstick!
It can get a bit drying though but I love the finish of it on my lips.

So have you tried the lipliners from Amuse?
How about their other products?

Cheers!

My February Salad Box

 Hey beauties!

Got my February box from The Salad Box.

February? But it's March already! Well, some of their deliveries got delayed because they changed courrier. :P

You might be wondering why I still got this box even though I stated last time that I was unsubscribing... it's because I forgot to unsubscribe from the website and I was enrolled in automated payment off my credit card. Haha! It's not that I don't like the stuff I get, it's just that I don't get the samples that I really want to try. :P
Besides, I have to lessen the amount of products I have for now. I guess I'll just subscribe once again when I get to decrease the number of kikay stuff in my stash.

But on to my February Salad box!

It's more bulky now.

The items in here are bigger! :)

Of course there's the letter they include about this month's box.

And the list of the products included with corresponding description and prices.

So what are these items?

Amuse Lip Liner in Hot Pink

Beauty and Bright Facial & Body Lightening Moringa Soap
(I love the scent of Moringa!)

Go Fickle : Fickle Eye and Lip Liner Brush
(I've been thinking of buying more Lip liner brush, well here it is! Haha! And it's 2 brushes in 1!)

Vanilla & Co. Drops of Dew
(It really does smell yummy)

Hotshop Amethyste EDT

and yet again a Carmex Click Stick
(This is my third time to get a Carmex product from The Salad Box. I love Carmex products but for the love of humanity, please give me something else to try!) :)

And there's also a P100 GC from Bittersweet Waxing Studio!

So that's all for this post!
Have a happy Thursday!

Cheers!

My January Salad Box

Hey guys!

My January The Salad Box arrived 2 days ago!

And if you have read my last month's Salad Box post, I was disappointed with The Salad Box's performance if you compare it with other boxes.
But I am somehow relieved that this month's box is wayyyy better than last month's.

My January Salad Box

It's the same size as my other boxes from months ago.

They have a letter on some changes they have made for the new year.

And also a list of products included in my box
I guess it is a good deal if you look at the prices of the products and that I only paid Php 500 for the box.

Products included are the following:

Sophia by Virginia Olsen Eyelash Enhancer

Missha Red Ginseng Sheet Mask

Gift vouchers from
Yellow Halo (P100)
Urbanears (P300)
Spoonful of Sugar (Free cupcake)

Ysabel's Daughter Revitalizing Facial Serum
(My sis tried this already and she loves it)

Amuse Perfect Eyeliner in Gold

Missha Oil Control Paper
Yunho!!!

That's all!
It's a big improvement compared to the last month's box but I think I will be unsubscribing for now. I am not a fan of much of the samples they have sent me and I, myself don't have a stable income for now.

If I see more improvement with the products, then I'll resubscribe! If not, there are still other boxes I could go to! Haha!

Cheers!
