The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour Shade in Guava

Hey loves!

Love the color pink? How about hot pink?
If you do, then I'm sure you'll like this blush from The Body Shop!

The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour Shade
Php 695.00

But I got this as a gift from the brand.

The shade is 06 Guava.
One blush is 4g and has a lifespan of 2 years.

Here are some product details from their website:

This extra-fine powder blusher gives smooth, buildable colour and has great staying power. With ingredients including vitamin E and marula oil, it’s make-up and skincare in one.

Superfine
Blends easily
Lasting colour

How to use:
Apply with a blusher brush to dust the apples of your cheeks and contour cheekbones.

Ingredients:
Talc, Mica, Nylon-12, Zea Mays Starch/Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Barium Sulfate, Silica, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Lauryl Methacrylate/Glycol Dimethacrylate Crosspolymer, Magnesium Myristate, Squalane, Soybean Glycerides, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Pentylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Butyrospermum Parkii Unsaponifiables/Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Unsaponifiables, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Benzyl PCA, Lauroyl Lysine, Tocopherol, Tin Oxide. [+/- CI 77891/Titanium Dioxide, CI 77491/Iron Oxides, CI 15850/Red 7 Lake, CI 77007/Ultramarines, CI 77492/Iron Oxides, CI 77499/Iron Oxides, CI 19140/Yellow 5 Lake, CI 77742/Manganese Violet].

The All-In-One Cheek Colour is available in 6 shades in-stores (in the PH) but in the US website, it has 10 shades.

Here's a closeup of the product.

It looks like it's so intense because of the hot pink color which sort of worried me since I am not a fan of strong blushes. I like my blushes subtle because I usually wear bold lips or strong eye makeup. Good thing it's easy to control the color of the blush so you can go from a mild pink blush to a very pink flush.

Swatch on arm

As you can see on the swatch, it gives a good color payoff. It's not powdery, it's so smooth, and it has subtle shimmers too. It's very wearable!

Here's me wearing the blush.

I think this shade would look lovely in almost any skin tone. It made my cheeks look fresh and rosy for the whole day! Besides the color, it promises some skin benefits such as Vitamin E and Marula. Oil.

So what do you think of The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour Shade in Guava? Have you tried the other shades of this blush from TBS? Which one?

Amuse Soft Lipliner in Hot Pink

Hello guys!

Just a quick swatch post for today.

I got this product 2 months ago from Salad box. I don't really use lip liners since I think my lips are well defined already but I guess it's good that you keep a nice color in your stash. You never know when you might be needing a good lip liner!

Amuse Soft Lipliner in Hot Pink

This is Php150.00 each.

My Salad Box Letter describes this product as:

"Get more defined lips using this soft and very pigmented lip liner from Amuse."

The shade I got is Hot Pink. I would prefer having a nude lip pencil since it would go with everything but a nice hot pink won't hurt. I love bold colors and Hot Pink is one of my favorite lip colors.

The liner is unscented. It is soft and glides to your skin smoothly.

Here's a swatch on my hand.

As seen on the picture above, it really is pigmented! :)

I apologize for the lazy lining of the lips. I don't really use this kind of makeup. Haha! But anyway, this would work really well as a guide and to define your lips further. Having a pretty hot pink shade of lippie, or even any other pink shade if blended well, would make all the difference with this liner on.

I could even use this as a lippie! Just look at how nice it is as a matte lipstick!
It can get a bit drying though but I love the finish of it on my lips.

So have you tried the lipliners from Amuse?
How about their other products?

Cheers!

My NYX Black Label Lipsticks

Hey everyone!

NYX lippies have been very popular these days.
I've seen quite a number of blogs featuring them and really loving them.
Even my sister and I are in-love with NYX lippies. It started with their soft matte lip creams, then to the round lipsticks and now I will be sharing with you our mini collection of black label lipsticks from NYX.

Why do we love these lipsticks?

They are pigmented. We really love lipsticks that have bold colors. That when you apply it, you get the color you want in one or two strokes of the product.
These lippies don't make our lips dry or chappy. We sometimes just apply it while at home as a lip balm. It just works for us! Haha!
We also love that these lipsticks are affordable. They deliver the quality we like and we only have to pay less compared to some brands. Only downside is that they aren't sold in local malls. All purchases are made online.
The scent of the lipsticks are soooo good! It's sort of a fruity smell. We just love it!
Plus, the packaging is so elegant! :)

So here are our little collection of the NYX Black Label Lipsticks.
We own 6 of them for now:
Diva
Dusty Rose
Midnight Dinner
Hot Pink
Cherry
Brick

I've provided some pictures of swatches just for you!

on skin
on paper

Diva is probably my favorite. Very neutral. Looks good in most of my makeup looks especially with smokey eyes.

Desert Rose is slightly darker than Diva. Nude-Pink tone that's also good with smokey eyes!

I love using Midnight DInner when I do simple looks. Great for everyday makeup!

Hot Pink is like the Black Label Lipstick version of Addis Ababa from the Soft Matte Lip Cream line.

Very red, hot, Cherry red. Makes your lips looking sexy. Rawr!

Brick has a peach-orange tone. Great to have in the collection considering 2012's color is Tangerine Tango! :D

So that's about it.
I'm looking forward on getting more. I would like to get my hands on Orchid.
And if you're wondering where we purchased these, its from Digital Traincase
while some were from Girl talk.

Have you tried NYX Black Label Lipsticks?
What do you think of them?
Do you like them as much as we do?
