Review : Ciate London Liquid Chrome Metallic Eyeliner in Celestial

Hey everyone!

I like doing different looks for my eye makeup. I like colors and contrast so recently, I've been adding more eyeliners than usual. I usually pair my black winged eyeliner with another colored eyeliner. It doesn't matter what color or if it's matte or metallic, or glittered. I just apply whatever catches my "fancy."

Now I just wanted to buy and buy more eyeliners. Haha! I try to stop myself when I can but when I see a good deal, I just can't resist anymore and one of the things I bought is this...

Hello dolls!

It's the Christmas season also known as another big shopping season. Haha! The traffic lately has been heck (doggo language much?)! So I'm sure that many will settle with online shopping. Why not? When all these amazing online shops are giving huge discounts on their items!

But for me, Christmas came quite early. I already bought SO MANY stuff during the past couple of season. Haha! On today's post, I'll show you what I bought and what's to come on future reviews. :)

Last November, the SephoraPH mobile app had this promo wherein when you buy some selected products amounting to 11k, you get 40% off. Okay... so it's pretty much too expensive for my budget, but 60% off is a big steal and I really like the products I got! ! I only paid PhP 4,640.00 for all the items seen on the photo above. Their regular prices sum up to PhP 11,600.00.

NOTD : Gold and Turquoise

Hi gorgeous!

Just sharing my NOTD!

It started as an all-gold nail polish but it was just too boring for me so I added this beautiful Turquoise color.

And I just think they compliment each other very well. The colors remind me of a pharaoh's crown. Don't you think so too?

NOTD : Nude and Gold Tips

Hey everyone!

Just sharing a quick NOTD post.

I was in a mood for a simple, yet elegant finish on my nails so I did this...

It's pretty easy to do if you're used to painting your nails alone and doing french tips by yourself. But if not, better ask someone to line the tips for you. :P

I used Zoya in Uli and Ciate mini polish in Ladylike Luxe for this NOTD.

I first add 2 layers of the nude polish.

I super love this polish btw. It has a nice gold sheen to it. Though I seldom wear it alone since sometimes it doesn't make my nails 'healthy-looking.' A nice french tip or some extra nail art embroideries would make it prettier.

And then I just put some gold tips with my Ciate mini polish!

To finish the look off, just add a clear polish to make the polishes last longer. :)

NOTD : First Time with Caviar Nail Polish!

Hey beauties!

I guess I'm a sort of too late to try this style of nail polish.

It has been out for oh so long already and I've seen so many people trying this out but I just haven't had the opportunity to try out the popular Caviar Manicure.

But now, I can finally do! My last month's Salad Box included a mini one from Ciate (this are the best among the bunch though. I didn't like that particular box)! 

Yayyy!

The colours they gave are quite nice too.

Colors were Ladylike Luxe and Caviar Pearls - Sundance

I applied Ladylike Luxe first so that my nails are gold and glittery and would still look nice in case the caviar pearls would fall off.

And then while the polish is still wet, I added the pearls and finally coated a clear polish and achieved this:

Cool, huh?

The blue and the gold pearls look gorgeous together!

I first thought that having little caviar pearls on my nails would be annoying but it doesn't! 

For me, at least.

Just make sure to put at least 2 layers of clear polish so that the pearls would stay put.

Most of the people I meet liked my nails. They even asked to touch it. :P

I would try more colours if it wasn't so expensive for my currently thinning wallet.

My December Salad Box

My Salad Box for the month of December just arrived yesterday and I'd like to share with you what the contents are.

Probably the best among the bunch! I'll finally get to try the Caviar nails!

Honestly, I am quite disappointed for this month's box. The only thing I was excited about was the caviar nails. The rest were things I wouldn't be interested to try out. these are mostly GC's now and it's not what I thought these boxes are for. I thought it should be sample items delivered to your doorstep so that if you like a certain product, that's when you go to the store and buy the standard size.

But with these GC's, you'll have no choice but to go to the store just so you can maximize what you paid for these boxes.

We used one of the GC's at last month's Salad Box and it was one of the worst experiences we had from a certain beauty service.

I will give another chance for The Salad box and hopefully they give a better selection on next month's box. If not, then I'll just place my money on a better one.
