Nichido Minerals Precise Eye Pencil in Walnut

Hey dears!

My mom had her brow tattooed some years back and now the color has faded and the tattoo is now greyish (sometimes bluish). My mom doesn't use makeup regularly—face powder and lipstick are the only things she apply. She recently wanted to add another cosmetic to her very minimal makeup routine and that's the eyebrow pencils just so her brows don't look too awkward. This is what she (usually I because I apply it for her) uses:

BYS Brow & Eye Pencil in Blonde

Hey loves!

Here's another review of one of the items I got from an event of BYS a couple of months back. I think some of you might like to try this especially those who need to fill-in their brows. We should always try to make our brows looking well since it makes all the difference in our makeup look because it frames our face and just makes us look better!

This is around Php 250.00.

I like that you don't have to sharpen it anymore. I'm lazy like that. Haha!

The shape of the pencil makes it easier to manipulate so you can draw and shape the brows well though I prefer it to be like of Etude House's which is triangular.

I need to fill-in some areas of my brows because of over-plucking. I have thick, dark brows so it's been such a problem of mine to shape and groom them. Right now, I just fill them in with a brow pencil then put brow mascara.

Here's a swatch on my hand

It's kind of waxy which kind of tames the brows the same time if you apply it along the hair of your brows.

And here are before and after shots of my left brow:

Here are my brows filled-in with the BYS Brow & Eye Pencil in Blonde...

As you can see, they are filled in and after that, I will apply a brow mascara. I use a lighter shade than my natural hair like brown or bronze.

Anyway, I think this shade is too light on its own on me (if I don't put brow mascara). My brows look ash greyish. I still prefer putting my brow mascara like in this pic below:

This brow pencil isn't waterproof and can easily be removed with sweat or when you get oily so it might be better if you bring it along for retouching.

Also, if you have heavy hands, you don't have to worry since this wouldn't make your brows too dark and strong. :)

Like I said before, the blonde shade is not for me but I am willing to try the other shades.

What do you think of BYS Brow & Eye Pencil in Blonde?

Cheers!
