Review : Infracyte Cyto Clean

Hey dears!

Having acne-prone skin led me to use medications to clear up my skin. Currently I am using acids and so far it works well with my skin. My brother, on the other hand, has a worse condition when it comes to acne so his products are stronger and sometimes he even does oral medication to address his skincare problem. With all the products we use, whether it is topical or oral, it would be great if we have a cleanser with us that is mild and at the same time effective in cleaning our faces.

So I was happy when I saw an invitation email to try out this product...

Infracyte Cyto Clean

I actually wasn't aware of this brand to be honest. I had to do some googling just to get an idea. Here's what's on the brand's website's about page:

"INFRACYTE incorporates scientifically advanced technology and top nutrient formulation to give this program three (3) fundamental benefits: corrects previous damages, protects healthy skin and prevents future damage. Meticulously and scientifically blended by well-established laboratories in United States, INFRACYTE provides quality products."

So basically, they specialize in keeping our skin well-hydrated and prolong "aging."
Eiskin is the company that is the official distributor of the brand in the country. You can check out their website for the list of items available.

Now, let's dive into the product review!

Here's the product info from the website:

 Cyto Clean - SRP Php1,800

This  is formulated to gently cleanse while lightly hydrating the skin. Its unique blend of herbal extracts, aloe vera and other mild cleansing agents provides effective cleansing of congested pores.

- Gently exfoliates dead skin cells
- Clarifies the skin and smoothes out rough texture
- Removes excess oils and make-up without causing dryness
- Ideal for all skin types

Ingredients: Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Tea-Lauryl Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Cocamide Dea, Methyl Gluceth 10, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Panthenol, Slippery Elm Extract, Ivy Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Fragrance, Jojoba Oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Saponins, D&C Red No 33, Fd& C Yellow No. 5.

How to Use: Use morning & night as your daily cleanser. Apply to damp face and rinse with lukewarm water.

First of all, the bottle looks gorgeous! I like the deep blue, slim, glass pump bottle! The silver fonts, bottom, and pump add elegance to the overall look. However, because it is slim, it's easy to knock it over compared to those with a thicker bases, so be careful so that it will not break. I'm saying this because I frequently do it. Haha! Anyway, it definitely is beautiful to look at on display in the bathroom and that's where it will stay until I finish it because it's not travel-friendly.

The scent is barely noticeable, which is something many people would like when it comes to their skincare products. I don't really mind scents on my products as long as I like the smell (I don't like citrus scents).

You only need one pump for your face! Your 100ml will last you a while.

It is clear and gel-like that foams up (not as foamy as, let's say, Korean beauty brand foam cleansers) when massaged on skin.

I use it twice a day, one in the morning and one at night. It effectively cleans my face and my proof is that whenever I wipe my face with a cotton pad + toner, the pad looks clean after! Although I do have to mention that I double cleanse so I use an oil-based makeup remover (sometimes I interchange this with a miscellar water) first then wipe it off before I use a cleanser, which is the Infracyte Cyto Clean.

Anyway, I like how it was able to remove the oil and the remaining makeup and dirt off my face without having to re-wash it again. What's great is that it never made my skin feel tight and dry. My skin never felt irritated and it didn't cause any breakouts and I've been using it for more than a month!

So to summarize:

What I LIKE:
- It doesn't dry my skin
- It effectively cleans my face
- A little goes a long way! One pump is enough
- Locally available
- Beautiful packaging
- Mildly scented

What I DON'T LIKE:
- It's expensive at PhP 1,800.00 for 100ml
- I don't think it has a physical store yet

Overall, I like this cleanser. It does what it claims, which is to clean your skin without leaving it dry. Yay!
