December (2018) to January (2019) Haul

Hey dolls!

I'm so proud to say that I successfully stopped myself from buying anything for the past month. I did some major shopping during December and January because of all the Christmas and end of season sales. I just couldn't help myself because I love getting good deals. And I really like everything I got.

So let me share the items I bought. If you see anything you're curious about and want a review, comment them below!

First off are my Althea Korea purchases. Althea, hands down, gave us super great deals during the holidays and I ordered not just once, not twice, but three times!!!

October-November (2018) Haul

Hey dolls!

How was your Christmas? Mine has been pleasant and I spent Christmas eve shopping and eating, which is pretty much a must during the holidays. Haha! Anyway, I'll share with you my Christmas haul sometime soon but for now, let me share with you the products I bought during the last two months. The sales were endless during the -ber months and online shopping sites took advantage of the festive season by creating soooo many massive discounts and I am one of the victims of shopping splurges. The last couple of months were stressful for me also so a good retail therapy happened and I felt better. Hahaha!

Even though I used a lot of money to buy these, I have no regrets and I'm happy with most of my buys and will make reviews (if I haven't posted them yet) and post them on the blog. So without further a do, here are the items I bought during October and November this year...

First off are my BeautyMNL purchases. They had many buy 1 take 1 products. Some of the items in the picture above were shared with officemates so that we don't have to pay separate shipping fees.

BeautyFix Nose Pack

Hello ladies,

I've been trying this nose pack from BeautyFix. It's a drugstore brand exclusively distributed by Watsons. I've been on a hunt for a replacement pore strip since last year because most of the Daiso stores I frequent don't have the charcoal mask nor the nose pack available.

This product costs Php 145.00 and is only available in 65g tubes.

I really like that the manufacturing date as well as the expiry date is clearly visible. Though I'm sure a lot of you will be able to finish this tube WAY before it expires but it's good to know when the product you are buying will expire.

The instructions for use are pretty straight-forward and similar to all types of pore strips. However, remember to always steam first. A good 5 to 10 minutes of steam over the face creates a really big difference in the amount of sebaceous filaments is taken out of your pores.

I know it says nose pack but I just can't help but use it all over. The product is not harsh and can be used even on slightly sensitive skin. My sister has a break-out prone skin and she's used this with me; so far, she hasn't noticed any break-outs after using this product.

Also the consistency of this product is much like your elmer's glue. It's quite easy to spread and dries thin even after you pile it on. I suggest applying about 2-3 layers as 1 layer will be too thin and will break off easily when you remove it. Also removal is not as painful as my favorite charcoal mask, so for that I give this a plus credit.

Here is the picture of how much sebaceous filaments this product has pulled out of my nose. My face felt super clean afterwards and as if it was breathing new air. This was already my second week trying it on. During my first trial, I skipped steaming my face and was only able to remove the small sebaceous filaments and some dead skin. So see how big a difference steaming can do?

For now I think I'll stick with this product as it's affordable and it works quite well. I'm just not sure about the whitening as I'm not good at noticing subtle changes (even really big leaps) in my complexion. The pore minimizing effect may also need sometime before I can attest to it. Will try to update this part once I see some changes.

Hope you liked this short post. It's already the end of the 2nd week of January and that means there's only two more weeks before we close the entry of our Hello 2017 Giveaway! Don't forget to join!

Cheers,
LIZ

October 2014 Haul

Hey dears!

Sharing the stuff I bought this month... well, actually last weekend. LOL
Been staying at home for the past couple of weekends prior to last weekend so I really missed buying something. Haha! I didn't buy much but I am very excited to try all these.

First are clothes from Forever21. My bro promised me that he'll buy me something as a gift for my birthday. He gave me the freedom to choose whatever I want but I was given a limit. I decided to get something I could wear because it has been a while since I bought some clothes.

And this is what I picked. It's a loose shirt that doesn't make me look fatter than I already am. LOL. This really flatters my skin as well! Got it for Php 915.00.

And while I was browsing one of the racks, I saw these two lovely tops that I can just have to buy...
Got this for Php 879.00.

Php 1,275.00

And of course I have to drop by the beauty section of SM department store to buy some beauty essentials.

Watsons Foot Peeling Mask with Papaya and Lactic Acid
Php 229.00

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania
Php 390.00

Tony Moly Lacquer Glitter and Nail Stickers
Php 178.00 and Php 25.00

Tony Moly HD Hair Lotion
Php 228.00

I'm Real Red Wine Mask Sheet - Pore Care
Php 78.00

And I got a BCDation and Intense Care LS CC Cream sachet as freebies! Yay!

And those are my stuff! Find something interesting? :)

Cheers,

Pinkie Swear Haul

Hi everyone!

A few days ago, I was in Cebu for the Sinulog with my sister and friends.
Before heading back to Manila, we had lunch at Ayala Center, Cebu and I did a few window shoppings that led to a few purchases. :P

So while I was browsing stuff at Watsons, I saw this pink stall with all the pink packaging and thought that it was cute. I interviewed the SA and found out that the brand is called Pinkie Swear Collection or Pinkies Collection and it is a sister company of James Cooper Makeup.

The products are very affordable! Cheaper than James Cooper. The packaging of the products is a mixture of pink and black. Most of the cases look a lot like MAC's but of cheaper quality. Though it is really a good buy considering the price.

I bought their bestseller, the makeup base. I have quite a number of makeup bases/primers already but the flavour, Milk, sold it for me.
I also bought a matte lipstick, shade is Champagne Bubble and a cute eyeshadow in Salmon. The SA even gave me a free eyeshadow case and eco bag! Yayyy!
Will make reviews on this so hope you wait for them! :D

I also bought a few more items because the SA's there are soooooo nice and accommodating.

4U2 DFY9 Liquid Eyeliner
4U2 Glitz Shimmer Mascara in Brown
and I also got a free sample of 4U2 Posh 2 Way Foundation! Yayyy!

And finally bought 4 Watsons Mini Wet Wipes
and
Glam Works Hand Cream in Sweet Berries which are in a promo! Buy 1 Take 1! Oh yeah!

When I left Watsons, I also bought some 'pasalubong' for my friends here in Manila. I wasn't able to take pictures though. Oh well! :P

That's all!
I really enjoyed the week long vacation I spent in Cebu and Bohol. Definitely hoping for a next time!

Cheers!
