October-November (2018) Haul

Hey dolls!

How was your Christmas? Mine has been pleasant and I spent Christmas eve shopping and eating, which is pretty much a must during the holidays. Haha! Anyway, I'll share with you my Christmas haul sometime soon but for now, let me share with you the products I bought during the last two months. The sales were endless during the -ber months and online shopping sites took advantage of the festive season by creating soooo many massive discounts and I am one of the victims of shopping splurges. The last couple of months were stressful for me also so a good retail therapy happened and I felt better. Hahaha!

Even though I used a lot of money to buy these, I have no regrets and I'm happy with most of my buys and will make reviews (if I haven't posted them yet) and post them on the blog. So without further a do, here are the items I bought during October and November this year...

First off are my BeautyMNL purchases. They had many buy 1 take 1 products. Some of the items in the picture above were shared with officemates so that we don't have to pay separate shipping fees.

October (2016) Haul

Hey everyone!

This is sorta a late post. Just sharing some of the items that I bought during the month of October... well, some of these were late gifts because September was my birth month.

I'm sharing these so that you might find something that you like and that you might want to know where I was able to buy it and how much it was.

So without further ado, here they are...

These are items I bought when we went to Glorietta and SM Makati during the second week of October:

NUXE Paris Eye Creme Prodigueuse - PhP 1,449.00
(I bought this as a very late birthday gift for Liz)
NUXE Paris Huile Prodigueuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil - PhP 900.00
(This is Liz's gift for me)

Here are some colorful items from Japan Home Center:
Wrapping Paper - PhP 88.00
Hooks - PhP 88.00
5 pcs Mechanical Pen - PhP 66.00 (THESE ARE SUPER ADORBS!)

Daily Defense 3 Minute Leave in Treatment in Macadamia Oil - PhP 199.00
(Buy 1 Take 1 promo!)

I've been eyeing the products from Origins for a while now and I just wanted to know if they will work on my skin. I consulted with Steph (their SM Makati SA) my skin problems (acne and very oily) and that I was looking for something that feels light but at the same time oil-free. She recommended me to try this—Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins (PhP 2,100.00). It's a moisturizer rich with vitamins (C and E) and minerals and it is oil-free and safe for sensitive skin.

What's so awesome is they had a promo that if I buy a moisturizer, I get a mini box full of travel-size freebies. I got their Renewal Serum with Willowherb, Original Skin Retexturizing mask with Rose Clay, and GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser.

I'm not sure if the promo is still up because it's valid until supplies last and I'm glad that I was one who got to avail it. :P

Steph also gave me some freebies to try! Yayyy! Origins may be a bit heavy on the budget but I'm spoiled with freebies so I'm a happy shopper. :)

I did some online shopping too from Ellana Cosmetics!

These aren't all mine, some are for my officemate....
Ellana Pressed Foundation in Hazelnut
Ellana Loose Foundation and Concealer in Radiant
Ellana Loose Foundation and Concealer in Awake
Magnetic Makeup Compact Case
Cucumber Melon Makeup Brush Cleaner
Please see their website for the prices.

I also went to Trinoma with friends to watch a movie... but I did some shopping first!

Dorothy Perkins Dress - PhP 1,595.00

And National Bookstore has some books on sale (up to 50% off)!
Idiot's Guide to Wine - PhP 302.00
The National Artists of the Philippines Part II - PhP 100.00

The book about Monet is a gift from Liz. :)

From Power Books:
Rubber Erasers - Php 199.00 (They are big and thick and have nice packaging)
Cara Wax Pastel  - Php 890.00
Pretty expensive for a wax pastel set of 10. But I was so curious as to why they are so expensive.

From Tickles:
Puppies in Full Bloom Sticky Notes - PhP 80.00

Eiffel Tower Metal Bookend - PhP 179.00
(Fully Booked)

I went to SM Aura with my brother next and bought the following:

Kuretake Transparent Watercolor Set
This is a gift from my brother. He said that he wanted to give me anything that's art-related because he supports my passion so much.

I also went to Watsons, SM Aura and got:
L'Oreal Color Riche in Rose Fondu
This is around PhP 300.00 if I remember correctly... I bought it at 30% off.

Wet Brush Detangle
Forgot the price. Sorry!

Marks and Spencer Spotted Textured Bra - PhP 750.00 (It was on sale at 50% off!)

Marks and Spencer teas (and mints!)
These are on sale too (expiration is between April-July 2017):
Pure Peppermint Infusion - PhP 100.00
Christmas Classic Tea - PhP 175.00
Calming Teabags Infusion - PhP 136.00
Detox Infusion - PhP 136.00
Organic Green Tea with Lemon Infusion - PhP 100.00
 Strong Mints - PhP 110.00

And last but not the list, my haul at Yves Rocher!
Yves Rocher Reparation Nutri-Repair Treatment Shampoo - PhP 495.00
and Yves Rocher Anti Pelliculaire Anti-Recurrence Dandruff Shampoo - PhP 495.00

I bought two because they have a promo! Well, each shampoo targets different hair and scalp concerns, but buying one shampoo and another shampoo or conditioner entitles you to a freebie and it's...

one full-size bottle of
Yves Rocher Reparation Repair Hair Repair Oil
and this is worth around PhP 800.00!

The next products are discounted at 70% off so I bought them! Haha! They are recommended to people with Combination to Oily skin so I thought I could try it. (It's gonna expiration date is by the end of the year but I'm pretty sure I can finish them before it ends)

Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Matifying Gel Cream - PhP 238.50

Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Purifying Scrub  - PhP 208.50
Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Purity Mask - PhP 238.50

The SA also gave me a freebie of their shampoo. Yay!

And another freebie (Organic Raspberry Shower Gel) because I availed their membership card.

When you get five stamps on your card, you get a free gift (my first gift is the shower gel). Every PhP 350.00 worth of purchase entitles you to one stamp. :D

OKAY.
That was a lot.
But I was able to earn money from my blog, a freelance work, and also my full-time job. I am also feeling pressured because of my on-going thesis and I try to keep myself happy with new things that make me pretty. Haha!

Anyway, if you like to know more about a certain product from my haul, do comment below and I might write a review. ;)

Cheers,

October-November Haul: Art Materials and Products from Laguna

Hey guys!

This is actually a late post. Hihihi... But these stuff that I'll be sharing are the things that makes me even happier than when I buy makeup. :P

I've been buying a lot of art materials during the last couple of months. Actually, I think that I've spent the most money on art materials during this period compared to previous months... in my whole life! Haha! And I have no regrets! I love everything. :D

The first photo contains the items that my friend who went to Tokyo bought for me. I gave her money and a list of things that I would like to try out. I heard that most of the materials listed are way cheaper when bought there.

I'm so happy that my friend is a fellow art student so she was able to get the stuff that I wanted. Except for the vanity mirror (red with sakura prints) and the Kitkat, all the items in the photo is around $50 US. Great deal, right? :)

Here's my first try using the Neopiko-2 Markers. I got a lot of likes when I posted this on Facebook. I didn't thought people would like this style of drawing from me. :P

I also bought a Koi Watercolour set. Ever since, I've been using Prang. It's a student-quality watercolor, but it's still good. I never tried other brands because I don't really like using watercolor. I, however, use the medium a lot so that I can be good at it. I like to challenge myself that way.

Koi is still considered a student/beginner-quality watercolor but I think it's a little bit better when it comes to the pigmentation. You can see it on the work I did below.

This is like a two-hour work... or maybe less. I did it just to try out the new set.

I also bought some monochromatic markers.

And here's my first work using them.

And oh! I also want to share another watercolor work I made. I've been watching DC Animated shows and films for weeks so I thought of drawing one of the big three superheroes from DC. My favorite is Batman but I thought that if I drew him, I would use all my black color up. :P

The last few art materials I bought were from Scribe and National Bookstore.

The first two are for calligraphy. That's an art form that I would like to be good at. :P
While the last two are also markers. :P
Speedball Signature Series (Silver and Gold) - PhP 545.00
Speedball Oblique Pen Set - PhP 645.00
Zig Brush Marker - Php 116.00
Kuretake Zig Chalk Pastel Colours (white) - PhP 97.00

I also bought like 5 art books... Although most of them are for research for my class in Graduate School. :P

Ohhhh. Last November, my office went on a trip to Laguna. I was able to buy all these stuff:

These shoes were only PhP 250.00. They are woven and they look pretty with a plain shirt and skinny jeans/leggings.

Fresh Local Coffee Beans
Not sure how much I was able to get this... I think it was around PhP 200.00.

Meringue and Eggnogs
Can't remember the price again. :(

Some hat-shaped purses!
Bought these as pasalubongs. I think I got this somewhere between PhP50-80.00.

Some Milea All Organics Soaps for PhP 75.00.
I know Milea is already available in some stores in Manila. I was just in the mood to use organic soaps again and I was running out already when I bought these three. :P

And those were some of the items I bought during the months of October and November. I already lost the receipts for these purchases. That's why I wasn't able to list the price for most of the items. If you are interested to know, you can comment below and hopefully the item you are eyeing still has its price tag. :P

Cheers,

October 2014 Haul

Hey dears!

Sharing the stuff I bought this month... well, actually last weekend. LOL
Been staying at home for the past couple of weekends prior to last weekend so I really missed buying something. Haha! I didn't buy much but I am very excited to try all these.

First are clothes from Forever21. My bro promised me that he'll buy me something as a gift for my birthday. He gave me the freedom to choose whatever I want but I was given a limit. I decided to get something I could wear because it has been a while since I bought some clothes.

And this is what I picked. It's a loose shirt that doesn't make me look fatter than I already am. LOL. This really flatters my skin as well! Got it for Php 915.00.

And while I was browsing one of the racks, I saw these two lovely tops that I can just have to buy...
Got this for Php 879.00.

Php 1,275.00

And of course I have to drop by the beauty section of SM department store to buy some beauty essentials.

Watsons Foot Peeling Mask with Papaya and Lactic Acid
Php 229.00

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania
Php 390.00

Tony Moly Lacquer Glitter and Nail Stickers
Php 178.00 and Php 25.00

Tony Moly HD Hair Lotion
Php 228.00

I'm Real Red Wine Mask Sheet - Pore Care
Php 78.00

And I got a BCDation and Intense Care LS CC Cream sachet as freebies! Yay!

And those are my stuff! Find something interesting? :)
