Unboxing: November-December 2014 Beauty Bounty Saladbox

Hello everyone!

I received my Saladbox today! I wasn't expecting any packages since it's almost Christmas time but yayyy, additional gifts arrived! Well, not really since I did pay for this box. LOL

Anyway, it's unboxing time! Weeeeeeee!

When I opened the package, the box had the Dial logo. My first impression was, is this another exclusive box? And if it is, are the products mostly bath items?

I was relieved to see that they aren't. It's not an exclusive box but you do get 2 full-sized products from Dial. Not that I don't like that brand, it's just that Saladbox is supposed to be a try-before-you-buy concept so I don't appreciate getting a box containing mostly soaps. So yeah, I'm glad that this box has more! :D

This smells amazing! When I opened the box, I smelled it immediately.

Get Lei'd Cosmetics 3D Green Tea Fiber Mascara Set

I was so curious about what this classy box was about. I'm not familiar with the brand so I'm very excited to see what this is.

Inside you'll see two tubes. They come in a set that will give you 3D lashes. I'm not sure what that is about but I guess one is for elongating while the other is the mascara. I'll try this soon so do wait for my review on this. :D

Unboxing: Flawless Exclusive Saladbox Eternal Youth

Hey dolls!

My Saladbox arrived today and it's an exclusive edition! They tied-up with Flawless, a beauty brand that offers various products and services. I haven't tried any of their services yet and I think I've only used one of their soaps so I'm really curious of what the items would be.

When I held the box, I thought it was a bit heavy and bulky. My first thought—this must contain some full-sized skincare products! 

And so, I sat down and immediately opened the box! I was just excited to see and couldn't wait for even another second. I'm just so curious because this is, in fact, their 2nd anniversary box and I guess I did miss doing some unboxing. It's been a while since I received or ordered a subscription box.

Tadaaaaa! 3 full-sized products! Woot!

So let's see what they are from the card this box comes with...

These products promise to keep your skin looking young. They have cell boosting properties to let us achieve that "eternal youth" most of us want.

And they are quite pricey compared to the Php 333.00 I used to pay for the box. You may think, "sulit!" Well, it is. That is until when you see the sticker on each product.

There are labels on the products that say we can only use them until the end of the month... because that's the date of expiration. Yikes! Is it just me or are they just trying to get rid of the old, unsold products? I mean, sure they could do that, that's smart marketing I guess, to give the older ones to subscription boxes so that people can try your products out that will lead to brand and product awareness and potential customers... but why now when there's only a month left? Ugh. :/

Oh yikes. I'm acne-prone... Does that mean I can't use this? I'm currently using some facial scrubs, which I use twice a week... Hmmm... Maybe I'd still give these a shot, if I get major breakouts, then I'll just discontinue. :)

And a Php 500 discount voucher which I can use when I avail products or services amounting to Php 2,000.00.

And there you have it! I have mixed feelings with this box since I would like to try this out but at the same time I am turned-off with the "you can only use this for a month" part. But since I will be using this everyday, maybe a month is all it takes to finish all three items.

Unboxing: August (2014) Saladbox - Beyond Beautiful

Hey everyone!

I just received my August Saladbox today. I was actually surprised when I got home because I wasn't expecting any deliveries. It is already mid September so I thought there was no August box. Haha! 

Anyway, as I held the package, I immediately noticed that it was bigger and heavier than the other Saladboxes I've gotten before. Interesting...

So let's see what's inside, shall we?

I was hoping to get an intensive treatment tub but everything inside were conditioners. BUT they're all full-size... all four of them!

So what do I feel about this box? I kept thinking and I don't really know. I guess with Saladbox, I don't expect much so even if I get products that I don't even feel like trying out, I'm like, "Uhhh... okay." BUT if they give good stuff, then I'm like, UBER Overjoyed! Haha! I guess it's better that way than getting disappointed. LOL. 

It's nice that they do exclusive boxes from different brands but... well, 4 conditioners? That's just too much in my opinion... plus, I've already used Cream Silk before so 

the "try-before-you-buy" thing is meaningless because I've tried this many times now... Now I have to finish four more... I do like that I get a free subscription again. Maybe I can finally get something worth of what I paid.

Unboxing: Regatta (April 2014) Saladbox

Hello dearies!

Just received my Saladbox for the month of April yesterday!

As I held the package, I noticed that it was heavy and I thought, there'll be a bottle of something inside... probably a lotion or fragrance. So as I unwrapped the courier's plastic, I saw this...

Woot! It's a specialty box again and for this month, they teamed up with Regatta!

I've always liked seeing Regatta stores. Though the clothing style isn't really my thing (I like very feminine, princessy clothes), I love their interiors—the sailing at the sea feel. It's like it's always summer there! 

I was really curious about what's inside... would there be clothes? Accessories? I even closed my eyes so I'd be "extra" surprised. Haha!

Wow! A full-sized fragrance! And it smells good too. I think I'll be using this for the summer!

It's a sample size and uhhh... I don't have a Saladbox Man! *cries* Kidding! I'll be giving this to my brother... probably add it to his birthday gift (it's his birth month).

These balms have sunscreen! Perfect for the intense sun this summer! Can't wait to try these out.

Sunblock Spray SPF70 UVA/UVB—Php 245.00

High SPF! Wonderful! And the bottle is very handy too so it's a keeper in my travel bag and probably even in my everyday bag!

I think I got everything in full-size except for the fragrance for men. I'm happy with this month's Saladbox and I'm getting really impressed with them since I got two great boxes for the past two months. Great job, Saladbox! Hope you keep this going!
