Hello dearies!

Since the heat is just so high these days, I try to keep my makeup simple when I go out under the sun. I also try my best to keep my skin and body hydrated AND even look hydrated (because you can easily look haggard after a few minutes under this Manila heat. Haha!). Wearing lipgloss helps with the 'look' part.

I rarely use lipglosses but this one that I'll be sharing with you made me love wearing it again!

Again, this is a gift from my sister. The first one was a soft pink shade, while this one is red.

What I love about this product is that it's a gloss that works as a lip balm... or I guess it's more accurate to call it a lip balm with a glossy finish!

It's a translucent gloss that gives a slight red tint. It gives a shiny, healthy look to your lips. It's a great everyday balm that keeps my lips hydrated and soft all day long. I also like the smell so it's a thing I carry around my kikay kit anywhere I go!

Whenever we can, my sister (who is currently living in Sidney) and I give each other makeup that is not available in the area we are in. So when I was in Japan, I bought her some eye makeup and she, on the other hand, give me items that she bought from AU. She's able to give me more (thanks!) because most products that can be bought in the Philippines are things that she's already familiar with.

The products from this brand are out of my budget to be honest and that is why I only get to try them when my sis gives me some. :P

I think this particular one belonged to one of the sets she bought some months back. There's another shade that came along with it that I'll post sometime soon. 

If ever I'm correct that this is from a set and that this packaging (in a tube that's pretty much like a lip gloss) is just for that limited edition set, then it's safe to say that those that are in the tub versions are the regular-sized products. Correct me if I'm wrong though. :P

This is the applicator. It's a doe-foot applicator that makes the product easy to apply.

I find the pinkness to be too pale on me. It's the kind of soft pink that's just too light for my warm skin tone. I would use this on top of another lipstick so that I don't look too pale.

What I love about this is how great it is as a lip balm. It helps hydrate the lips when they are dry. What the product description says is no joke because I've used this on my lips when they were getting flaky and after a couple of hours, my lips feel a lot smoother. And it smells great too!

Summer is the time that I most often wear lipgloss. It's the season when I like to keep it light and fun instead of the glam or sharp looks. So for today, I'll share one of the glosses that I currently have in my kikay kit...

Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Gloss in Bellini

This was given by my sister and it's only the deluxe size. The regular size is 75ml.

Info from the website: 

A high-shine gloss with a special mix of pearls in a clear base (for a super reflective effect).

This vitamin-enriched formula conditions lips while providing non-sticky, but long-lasting color.

How to Use: Apply to bare lips with wand or layer over lip color.

The deluxe size has a doe foot applicator. I love how cute it is. But even if it's small, it's still easy to use.

The website described Bellini as "a nude pink with pearl."

It gives my lips a shimmery gloss. The product info from the website accurately described it. I love that the glitters are fine and that it's a mix of purple, gold, and silver. I also like that it's non-sticky and non-greasy, although I don't find it long-lasting. 

I don't like wearing it alone because I look pale, but it looks great on top of lipstick. It can enhance any lippie with added shimmer and shine! Since mine is in deluxe size, it's a staple in my vanity kit so I can reapply anywhere I go.

These were sent to me along with other products from the brand last December. These are just a couple of the new products from Celeteque DermoCosmetics.  

What I love about this brand is that they promise to create products that help enhance your features while at the same time, help take care of your skin.

With that being said, the products I'll be sharing today are lip products that enhances the lips while keeping it moisturized!

The shade is aptly named as it really is a soft shade of pink.

Ultra-Noursihing Lip Lacquer in Red Velvet

I love red lippies! And I'm pretty amazed how pigmented it is!

Unfortunately, I noticed that it bleeds on my lips. I think you should have a well hydrated pair of lips so that this wouldn't happen.

Other than that, I think these lip lacquers are pretty good. They don't feel greasy nor thick. It feels light when worn and glides smoothly when applied.

There's also another shade that you can check out—Natural Nude!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 06 Rosewood Shimmer

Hello dolls!

My sister sent my mom a Clarins skincare set and it included this cute travel-sized lippie. My mom hardly uses it though because she's not a fan of glosses so I asked if I could have it. Haha!

So I'm gonna share the swatch of the product on today's post! :)

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector

The shade is called Rosewood Shimmer. 

The one I have is only 5mL while the regular-size tube contains 12mL.

For a lippie in this kind of squeeze tube packaging, I like its applicator. It creates an even and clean application. 

You just squeeze and the product dispenses as seen on the photo above.

It's both sheer and pigmented. And I am loving the very fine shimmers on the peachy pink-nude shade. The shade looks like my natural lip color but better!

See what I mean?

Don't expect it to be long-lasting... it's staying power is pretty much like most lip glosses. It's very moisturizing though!

It's perfect for a natural makeup look. I carry it in my vanity kit so it's with me wherever I go. You can never go wrong when your lip product is close to your natural lip color but it just makes your lips look better!

It's a pale pink shade with shimmers.

And on my lips

The product is very sheer and as you can see on the photos, it only gave a bright pink translucent gloss and didn't entirely cover my lips since you can still see some of my lips' natural color. I'm not a fan of sheer lip glosses to be honest but what I do like about this is that it can go on top of a lipstick to lighten it and add shimmers for a fun and youthful look.

The quality of the lipgloss is good as it never caused any dryness. It's non-sticky and also not the very slippery kind that annoys me. I don't think it's that long-lasting since it's completely gone when I eat. Haha! 

I guess that's all I can say about this gloss. Have you tried any of the Brilliant Glosses from Chantecaille?
