Everyday just went by so quickly and I noticed I have been neglecting the blog. Sorry! Anyway, I will share my thoughts on this product to be productive and to show the blog some love. Haha!

Mizon Collagenic Aqua Volume Lip Essence



This was sent to me by Althea as I'm an Althea Angel. Now, I'll share my review of it...

But first, some product information:

Smooth on deep moisture and nourishment and reveal silky soft, plump lips with this innovative essence. The ultimate antidote for dry, flaky lips; this smoothing formulation utilises plant oils to form a protective, moisture-binding layer that keeps lips hydrated all day long. Enriched with collagen to hold onto hydration, granting a softened, plumped effect and UV blockers to prevent sun-related damage.

Prep lips by exfoliating prior to application for a smooth, even finish. Apply a generous amount as desired, ideally at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure.

Free from parabens.

It's housed in a plastic pink tube that seals well. It doesn't link and so far it doesn't get squished inside my vanity bag (which is often the thing that scares me whenever i carry a tubed product).

You squeeze the tube to dispense it and the product looks like a transparent cream as seen below.

You spread it and it leaves a gloss finish. It can be a bit thick.

It's a transparent gloss so i find that it looks awkward on my lips alone...

...BUT it's awesome to put it on top of lipstick!

With the Mizon Collagenic Aqua Volume Lip Essence

I do like a gloss look every now and then and it does moisturize my lips quite well. It's a good lip product to keep your lips hydrated and avoid dry, chappy lips. However, I'm just not a fan of the thickness of how it feels. :( 

I also don't know how the UV protection works here but it's a nice addition to a lip care product.

So it's both a hit and miss for me. I still use it as a lip conditioner at home though!
