Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipsticks Lipsticks in Head Turner, Angelic, Queen Bee, and Bellissima

Hey loves!

I was sent four shades of Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipsticks by Ms. Shegil, one of the brand's dealers. She was kind enough to get in touch with me so I can feature more shades of their Ultimate Wear Lipsticks.

I've actually blogged about one of the shades—Angelic. Click here if you'd like to read my thoughts on the lipstick.

What I love about these lipsticks is how pigmented they are. Each one gives a strong pop of color! Just check out the swatches below.

And they also are long-lasting and what makes them even better is that they leave a stain so that your lips still have color after a long day if you weren't able to do some retouches.

The stains after I wipe off the lippies

And even though these are long-wearing, they haven't caused my lips to dry so that is really awesome. Anyway, I won't let you wait any longer and let's go to the fun part! The individual swatches on my lips! Haha!

Head Turner

This is my favorite out of the four shades. It's just so bold and fun at the same time!

Angelic

This one I've shared before. It's a shade that's safe for everyday makeup.

Queen Bee

Usually, I go for the reds but I have so many shades already that's why I picked Head Turner as my favorite... but this one is my close second!

Bellissima

Another color that would look nice for an everyday look. If ever I will pick a color that I would wear often in the office, it will definitely be this one.

Awesome colors, right??? And what's even more awesome is that these lippies are affordable at Php 350.00. If you'd like to order or if you have questions, you can get in touch with Ms. Shegil through her email (shegil.beltran@gmail.com).

So which out of the four is your favorite? Have you tried other shades from the Ultimate Wear Lipstick line?

Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick in Angelic

Hello dears!

I'm sharing a quick swatch post for today. It's something I got from Sample Room a few months ago...

Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick
Regular price is Php 350.00 per tube.

Some details from the box:

The shade I got is Angelic.

And here are more info from Sample Room's website:

Achieve rich, longwearing color that glides on smoothly and doesn’t fade away easily. Lasts up to 8 hours! Always hydrating and never drying, this high-cushioned lipstick keeps lips moisturized all day, minimizes the appearance of fine lines, and stops feathering to give lips the perfect plumped-up appearance. Slim and handy, with a see through window for easy identification.
Angelic, a soft rosy nude color for everyday wear.

I chose this color because I was in the look-out for a nice pinkish nude lip color.

When I got the lippie, at first glance, it does look like a nice pinkish nude.

Here's a close up of the lippie at full length.

And here's how it looks on my hand.
It's still close to the color on the tube but a bit more pinkish. I still found it nice.

And it leaves a stain too. I guess that contributes to the "long-wearing" part. Though I'm not really into the purplish stain since I am looking for a pinkish nude lippie.

On my lips

Once I apply it on my lips, it was just pink. It's quite bright too. Not what I expected. But it still looks nice... just not what I expected.

At the end of the day, it looks like this. A cool-toned pink... purplish pink.

And if you try to remove it, your lips are still stained. I guess people on the go would love this since you don't have to reapply much because this is really long-wearing.
And oh, it's creamy and non-drying too!

Though this isn't what I was expecting, I guess I learned to like it because it's quite good. Anyway, I found some nice pinkish nude lipsticks from Happy Skin, Lorac, and Revlon so I'm happy. :P

Have you tried any Colour Collection's Ultimate Wear Lipstick? Which shade?

What's inside my Sample Room Inspire Goodie Bag?

Hello everyone!

I finally got to subscribe to Sample Room's goodie bag and the package arrived today! Hoorayyy!!! This batch's theme is "Inspire."

I was so excited to come home because I know the package will arrive today. I received an email from Xend yesterday that the package is on its way and since I've been using Xend for years now, it only takes a day or two for me to get my stuff.

And when I opened the Xend plastic bag, I was greeted with a handwritten card... and a pretty, pink "I Love Sample Room" ribbon! :P

The items were inside this Inspire canvas bag. I love the pockets at the front. This will now be my shopping bag when I go to malls!

And these are the items inside:

According to the Facebook Photo, all the products inside would amount to more than Php 5k. And I believe it is so because I'm a bit aware of the prices of the products and most of them are in their full sizes.

I'm just glad that the stuff inside are things that I haven't used yet so I'm really excited to try them out!

Anyway, here are pictures of the items:

AHAVA Time to Treat Comforting Cream
AHAVA Dermud Intensive Hand Cream
AHAVA Deadsea Water Mineral Body Exfoliator
AHAVA Deadsea Mud Gentle Body Exfoliator
AHAVA Deadsea Water Mineral Shower Gel

ZA True White Day Protector
Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask

United Color of Benetton Let's Love Eau de Toilette
Pevonia enzymo-spherides peeling cream
Reven Eco Beauty Tool Natural Cleansing Sponge

NYX Lipliner Pencil in Hot Red
Colour Collection Lipstick in Sweet Tart
Charm Pro Flat Liner Brush

This bag is definitely worth my Php 1,290.00. I'm glad I was one of the first 25 people who got lucky and got a reservation. :D

Do you see something from the goodie bag you want us to make a review soon? If you do, comment them below!

Colour Collection Vitamin E Sheer Lipstick in Pinkish Nude

Hello guys!

Just sharing this lippie I got from Sample Room using the points I accumulated.

Colour Collection Vitamin E Sheer Lipstick

The shade I got is Pinkish Nude.
I wanted to get this because I want to get that perfect pinkish nude shade which I actually found in 2 lippies I have shared before (click here and here to find out what they are).

More info about the product from Sample Room's website:

Keep your lips healthy and kissable with Colour Collection’s Vitamin E Lipsticks, a range of lipsticks that are formulated with Vitamin E, making your lips still look moisturized and supple even long after the color wears off. It also has sunscreen that protects your lips from the harmful UV rays of the sun.
Tupperware Brands’ premier cosmetic line presents these specially enriched glam lipsticks with Vitamin E -- widely known for its capability to speed up cell regeneration and retain natural moisture content of the skin.
By helping you maintain smooth, sensuous and vibrant lips, Colour Collection's Vitamin E Lipstick puts the glamorous finishing touch to your look with over 15 passionate shades and 3 types of finishes – matte, satin and sheer.
Full size: 4g
Price: PHP 330
Sample Size: 1 pc. 4g (full-sized)

The packaging is the usual classy black tube. I don't really have much to say about it since it's getting pretty common. :P

Here's a closeup of the product.

It's really creamy that it gets melted quickly when left in a pretty warm place. My lipstick bullet broke because my room was... errr... too warm for it I guess. :(

On my lips

I find this lipstick too creamy for me. It usually piles up on the lines of my lips which looks very unattractive. If you have dry lips, then it will make the chappy area very visible too.

What I do is I blot it a few times so that it looks subtler just like on the photo above. It looks more decent that way in my opinion.

The shade is actually nice but not a fan of the consistency. Still willing to try other lippies from Colour Collection but I will probably stir away from their sheer collection. :P

So what are your thoughts on this lipstick? Have you tried any lipstick from the brand? If yes, which shade? :)

Review : Colour Collection Whitening BB Cream

Hi loves! :)

I've been planning to post a review on this BB Cream for weeks now. I just kept forgetting to take pictures of the before and after looks. Haha! But here it is! Finally!

I got this BB for 101 points at Sample Room more than a month ago.

Colour Collection Whitening BB Cream

Full size: 40ml
Price: PHP 599
Info on the box:
It promises 8 benefits—Wow! When I read it, it really heightened my expectations.

Almost the same label is on the back of the tube.

More info from Sample Room's website:

Gluta Whitening BB Cream is a multi-benefit product that not only works externally -- it also penetrates deeper using breakthrough Nanotechnology to deliver 5 wonderful benefits to your skin.
It acts as a whitening cream with its glutathione and papaya extract to even out skin tone and promote healthy cell renewal. It acts as a tinted makeup base or sheer foundation because of its self-adjusting shade that complements all Asian skintones. It doubles as a moisturizer with shea butter and soothing aloe vera, and works as a toner with hazel extracts that treats blemishes. Finally, it protects your skin from harmful UV rays with SPF27.

The packaging is in tube form. It's very easy to squeeze out the product and it doesn't leak.

Swatch on paper

on my arm

I like that it has a warm beige shade because it's closer to my skin tone. I'm quite impressed since I struggle at finding BB Creams that doesn't come off as too white, pink or gray.

Here it is when blended:
The area with the product looks glowing! I love the finish it gives. It's still not an exact shade but that's not a problem since a powder in my shade on top can fix it.

It has a faint scent and the consistency is creamy but easy to spread. It feels very light on skin too!

Check these before and after shots of my cheek:

It's lighter than my natural color but like I said earlier, a powder in my shade can fix it. It gives off a semi-matte, kinda dewy finish. The coverage is quite good for a BB cream which is a BIG plus for me!

Below is a picture after I top it off with my powder and the rest of my makeup:
Nice, eh?

I really do love the finish. Though I've given it much praise, there's one thing that I find disappointing with this product... it cakes on me! I've tried it with primer and without... even without powder on top... it still cakes after 5 hours. Maybe it's because of my very oily skin?

And what do I think about the 8 benefits?
Well, I'm not pretty sure. I can't say that it healed my acne problems since I do have acne-prone skin and I deal with them with other skincare items. Did it lighten my face? I barely notice any change but do know that I often walk under the sun and I barely use items such as umbrellas to cover myself. :P I would have to agree that it moisturizes... pretty much... I get oily too soon! Haha!

 What I LIKE:

Warm tone
Feels light on skin
Semi-matte finish
Protects the skin from sun and maintains moisture
Faint scent
Creamy consistency and easy to spread
Locally available thru Tupperware sellers
Affordable

What I am NEUTRAL about:

Packaging
Doesn't help with oil control

What I DON'T LIKE:

It cakes on my oily face. :(
The shade is suited with fair/light and medium skin only

Would I buy it again?
I like it but not too much to buy one again. The caking part is such a downer to me and I do like trying out new makeup. :P

Well, those are my thoughts on Colour Collection's Whitening BB Cream!
Have you tried this yet? What do you think about it? :)

Cheers,
