Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipsticks Lipsticks in Head Turner, Angelic, Queen Bee, and Bellissima

Hey loves!

I was sent four shades of Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipsticks by Ms. Shegil, one of the brand's dealers. She was kind enough to get in touch with me so I can feature more shades of their Ultimate Wear Lipsticks.

I've actually blogged about one of the shades—Angelic. Click here if you'd like to read my thoughts on the lipstick.

What I love about these lipsticks is how pigmented they are. Each one gives a strong pop of color! Just check out the swatches below.

And they also are long-lasting and what makes them even better is that they leave a stain so that your lips still have color after a long day if you weren't able to do some retouches.

The stains after I wipe off the lippies

And even though these are long-wearing, they haven't caused my lips to dry so that is really awesome. Anyway, I won't let you wait any longer and let's go to the fun part! The individual swatches on my lips! Haha!

Head Turner

This is my favorite out of the four shades. It's just so bold and fun at the same time!

Angelic

This one I've shared before. It's a shade that's safe for everyday makeup.

Queen Bee

Usually, I go for the reds but I have so many shades already that's why I picked Head Turner as my favorite... but this one is my close second!

Bellissima

Another color that would look nice for an everyday look. If ever I will pick a color that I would wear often in the office, it will definitely be this one.

Awesome colors, right??? And what's even more awesome is that these lippies are affordable at Php 350.00. If you'd like to order or if you have questions, you can get in touch with Ms. Shegil through her email (shegil.beltran@gmail.com).

So which out of the four is your favorite? Have you tried other shades from the Ultimate Wear Lipstick line?

Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick in Angelic

Hello dears!

I'm sharing a quick swatch post for today. It's something I got from Sample Room a few months ago...

Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick
Regular price is Php 350.00 per tube.

Some details from the box:

The shade I got is Angelic.

And here are more info from Sample Room's website:

Achieve rich, longwearing color that glides on smoothly and doesn’t fade away easily. Lasts up to 8 hours! Always hydrating and never drying, this high-cushioned lipstick keeps lips moisturized all day, minimizes the appearance of fine lines, and stops feathering to give lips the perfect plumped-up appearance. Slim and handy, with a see through window for easy identification.
Angelic, a soft rosy nude color for everyday wear.

I chose this color because I was in the look-out for a nice pinkish nude lip color.

When I got the lippie, at first glance, it does look like a nice pinkish nude.

Here's a close up of the lippie at full length.

And here's how it looks on my hand.
It's still close to the color on the tube but a bit more pinkish. I still found it nice.

And it leaves a stain too. I guess that contributes to the "long-wearing" part. Though I'm not really into the purplish stain since I am looking for a pinkish nude lippie.

On my lips

Once I apply it on my lips, it was just pink. It's quite bright too. Not what I expected. But it still looks nice... just not what I expected.

At the end of the day, it looks like this. A cool-toned pink... purplish pink.

And if you try to remove it, your lips are still stained. I guess people on the go would love this since you don't have to reapply much because this is really long-wearing.
And oh, it's creamy and non-drying too!

Though this isn't what I was expecting, I guess I learned to like it because it's quite good. Anyway, I found some nice pinkish nude lipsticks from Happy Skin, Lorac, and Revlon so I'm happy. :P

Have you tried any Colour Collection's Ultimate Wear Lipstick? Which shade?

Review: Fusion Beauty LipFusion Infatuation Set Objects of Desire

 Hey, girls!

Here's the review I promised to make regarding the lipglosses my bestfriend, Rica, got me for my birthday.

Rica wrote on the note on the gift that this reminds her of me. It really got me curious. And when I opened it...

Tadaaaaa...

Fusion Beauty Colorceuticals 4 Piece Deluxe LipFusion Infatuation Set
 Objects of Desire (4 x 0.09oz / 2.5g)

Shades (from left to right): First Crush, Screen Siren, Angelic, Lollipop
(The box looks so classy that I have to include it in the picture)

I was so eager to try it out! It looked so classy and chic! Plus, I was also planning on buying a nude lipgloss! Good timing, huh?
And what really got me excited more about this is that when I was looking for reviews and rating for this product, I found this video by Lisa Eldridge about her All-Time-Favorite Makeup!

I'm a huge fan of Lisa Eldridge. She's like my ultimate Makeup Guru. I watch her videos first, above anyone else, when I want to know how to apply stuff, or if I want to try a certain look. Her videos are so clear, clean and she really does the look right on so you see the whole application process.

And knowing that these lipglosses are one of her All-Time-Favorites, I fell moooore in-love with them! But of course it's not the sole reason why...

They are highly pigmented. Very solid colors. It's also long-lasting (probably the gloss with the longest staying power among all the lipglosses I have tried so far!) and has a mild, minty smell! I didn't encounter any lip-bleeding so far. And it cools on your lips slowly and not so stingy unlike other plumping glosses.

Here are the swatches of the lipglosses:
1 - First Crush
2 - Screen Siren
3 - Angelic
4 - Lollipop
 on skin

 on paper

Next are detailed views about each glosses:

First Crush

It's a very solid, nude lipgloss. Like I said before, I was planning to buy this kind of shade.
It really looks good if you plan on doing a simple makeup and it also goes with a smokey eyes too! It's the first one I used when I opened the box. And is currently my favorite! :)

Screen Siren

My sis already made an FOTD post regarding this shade.
This is EXTREMELY red (haha). Very pigmented. It still looks good when it's washed out. This is the most long-lasting out of the whole set.

Angelic

It's a light, pale pink gloss with little silver glitters. It will also looks good for simple or smokey makeup! I think I will use it if I want to look a little playful and cute!

and last but not the least...

Lollipop

I believe this is a limited edition as mentioned in the box. It's solid fuchsia with silver glitters. Also love this shades since we're currently crazy in-love with fuchsia lippies! Just check out some posts we've made about other fuchsia lippies, here and here, to know just how much!

To sum it all up...

What I like about it:

  • It's very pigmented
  • Long-lasting
  • Never had any lip bleeding or chapping so far
  • Smells minty & isn't overpowering
Not so stingy for a plumping gloss
  • I have a 0.09oz ones but it also comes in 0.29oz
  • Love every, single shade
  • and Lisa Eldridge likes it too (haha)

What I don't like about it:

  • It's not locally available in the Philippines
  • I have no idea how much Rica bought this (haha!)
  • I honestly can't think of anything else not to like!

That's about it! Hope you like this review!

Thanks a bunch, Rica, for introducing me to these fabulous lippies! I would never have discovered it's 'awesomeness' (Barney style) without you! Love you lots! Miss you! :)

*Btw, it's really important that you apply this gloss in bare, dry lips! Not even with lipbalm. It doesn't blend well with other lip products.
