Just a few weeks ago, I posted an introduction about One Earth Organics. Since then, I've been using the products that were sent to me and today, I'll share with you my review on one of them...
One Earth Organics Illumina Exfoliant Whitening Body Scrub
It arrived timely as I just ran out of the body exfoliant I was using and was open to trying something new. I was actually surprised when the packaged arrived because I didn't know what to expect. You see, One Earth Organics celebrated its first year with Beauty Bar, one of the major beauty stores in the country, and I was fortunate enough to be one of the bloggers included to spread the news with my readers.
The package included a number of items from the brand and one of them is this body scrub. It was one of the items that caught my eye because, as I mentioned, I am in need of a new one, and it was also the biggest one in the loot. The tube contains 200g of product and it costs PhP 929.00.

The only complain you’ll have is you would want to use this scrub everyday and not just the recommended 2-3 times a week.

What I first noticed when I opened it is it has a pleasant sweet, citrusy scent. I'm not into fruity scents but I like this one very much.
It has a white pasty appearance and you can see the small scrubs.
When you spread it, you'll see that it's creamy with just the right amount of grittiness to help remove the flaky dead skin away.
The scrubs aren't harsh and they never left my skin feeling irritated or dryer. In fact, whenever I rinse it off, my skin feels smoother and softer instantly.
As for the whitening part, I don't see a difference yet after a month's use. Maybe I need more time before I see changes.
Overall, I really like using this. I use this twice a week as indicated and every time I use this, I get to enjoy touching my skin because of how smoother it feels. Other positive things to know about the product is that it's cruelty free and it has none of those artificial coloring, synthetic fragrance, parabens, sulfates, nor pthalates. It's certified organic so I recommend this if you are looking for a non-chemical-containing skincare product.
So to summarize:
What I LIKE:
- Certified organic
- Cruelty-free
- Smoothens skin
- No irritations
- Non-drying
- Locally available
- Smells good
What I'm NEUTRAL about:
- The price can be a bit steep but I think it's worth it
- Haven't noticed any whitening after a month's use so I'll update this review after a while regarding this.
What I DON'T LIKE:
- None so far
