Hey dears!
Last month I went to an event that featured Careline's latest and forthcoming products. One of the items highlighted in the event was the liquid lipsticks. These lippies (which are better than basic btw) have matte finishes and metallic ones. And the mattes range from neutrals to bold shades.
I was able to take a group photo of all the swatches of the liquid lipsticks. Check them out on my previous post about the event. But for this post, I'll feature one of the neutral shades...
Careline Matte Liquid Lipstick in Glaze
You can buy this for PhP 210.00 at leading department stores and selected Watsons branches.
I was able to take home three shades of the liquid lipsticks from the event and Glaze was one of them.
The following photos are the labels on the packaging.

For more product details, here's a quote from the press release about the Matte Liquid Lipsticks:
The Careline Matte Liquid Lipsticks (P195 introductory price, P210 regular price) boasts of 12 gorgeous shades that range from nudes to dramatic blues and purples. Packaged in sleek clear tubes that display the lip color, the formula is lightweight, fast-drying, long-lasting, waterproof and transfer-proof once set. While it's opaque in a single swipe, the liquid lipstick's light formula allows it to be layered on to build a more dramatic color.
Glaze belongs to the lighter half of the collection in terms of the shades.
It's housed in a clear, plastic tube. It looks very simple and what I like about it is that even if Careline is a brand that caters to a younger audience aka tweens, this particular product doesn't have that cutesy, youthful design and instead looks more universal or is appropriate for any age group.
It's also pretty easy to carry around because the size is non-bulky. It's pretty much like the standard size of most liquid lipsticks available in the market.
The applicator is easy to work with because it's slim. However, I need to dip it twice or thrice to coat my lips, which is more than the other liquid lipsticks I've used before.
Here's the swatch. It's a beautiful pinkish nude shade. I love the color because it's pretty close to my natural lip color... well a little paler. The color is very easy to wear and I believe it would suit many people of different skin tones.

Although it's matte, I don't find it as drying as some matte lipsticks I've used. The consistency feels thin but is actually very pigmented. It can also last a long time. The color will stay on my lips the whole day of I don't eat something oily or something too wet (ramen?). With all these in mind and also for the price, it's a highly recommendable product!
What do you think of the Careline Matte Liquid Lipstick in Glaze?
Stay tuned for the swatch post of the other Careline Liquid Lipsticks I have in my stash!
