Hi dears!
Looking for an all-natural lippie? I know it can be a challenge to find good organic lip products. Most are lip tints and balms. Good thing Burt's Bees is expanding their range of lip products. Yay! From their famous lip balms, they've made tinted balms, lipsticks, and lip glosses too!
For today, I'll share a swatch of one of their 100% Natural Lip Gloss...

I received this product from the brand as a gift last Christmas. The color is not something I would pick up immediately, but the good thing about it is that I do not own anything in this color yet so YAY!
I like the clear packaging because I get to see the shade of the product. I can see the shimmers too! The design is pretty and I like that beehive texture that's engraved on the cap.
The shade is a warm bronzy shade with a very, very little hint of peach. It's mostly metallic, shimmery bronze as you can see on the swatch below:
The pigment, especially the shimmers settle on the lines of my lips though. This happens less when I exfoliate my lips prior application.
Like any other glosses, the staying power is not so long. I need to reapply after drinking, eating, and the like. The sheer color of the product creates a simple overall look, even with the fine shimmers and metallic color. It smells really good too but very mild. And finally, as expected from Burt's Bees, the product is moisturizing! It's like a glossy balm.
So what do you think of the Burt's Bees 100% Natural Lip Gloss in Harvest Time?
Cheers,
DAWN
Hope they have more peachy shades without the brownish tint
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can find that shade you like from the 11 other shades available. :)
