There will be a 3-day sale event at Megatrade Hall 3 at SM Megamall this November 14-16. This is made possible by N.E.W. (Network for Enterprising Women), an organization that helps women entrepreneurs to achieve success in their businesses! This is the second N.E.W. Fashion and Beauty Fair and it seems like it is gonna be an exciting event! Check out the press release below for more details!

Network for Enterprising Women (N.E.W.) is a local organization that empowers Filipinas through entrepreneurship. Since 2006, we have been guiding entrepreneurial Filipinas through workshops and seminars held by some of the country’s notable business gurus that provide them with the right mindset to develop, start, and sustain a business. Some of our successful members are Roseanne and Robina Ko of Status Hair Salon, Edilee Omoyon of Milea All Organics, and Judith Cinco of Imagere Watch Store to name a few. Fashion and Beauty Fair Year 1 at Rockwell Tent and this year, Network for Enterprising Women (N.E.W.) together with its event partner MBCI, will stage The N.E.W. Fashion and Beauty Fair Year 2 on November 14 to 16, 2014 (Friday to Sunday) at the Megatrade Hall 3, 5/F Bldg. B, SM Megamall.

This 3-day sale event will gather the country’s top Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle manufacturers and retailers. Aside from the fashion and beauty expo, there will also be talks and makeover demos by notable fashion and image experts such as MAC Cosmetics, and local Fashion Designers and Fashion schools, plus a make-up competition featuring some of the country’s up-and-coming make-up artists. Admission is FREE so gather your friends and family, and shop for the best beauty and fashion finds while helping empower the nation one entrepreneurial Filipina at a time.

Swatch post time of one of the great deals I got when I visited Rustans Makati around two weeks ago.

Got this for only Php 223.50 from the original price of Php 750.00.

This pretty little thing along with dozens of other eyeshadow shades are discounted up to 70% off. The brand is pulling out so they are selling everything at a very low price. There are also bronzers and a very few lip products left. The discount will last until supplies last.

The packaging is very simple. The silver compact looks neat and classy. It has a secret compartment at the bottom where a little applicator is placed.

It's a nice base eyeshadow, especially for a natural looking eye makeup. I think that anyone who want to collect makeup should have a shade like this or something close in their stash. The product is very pigmented and the powder is fine. With a good eyeshadow primer, it doesn't crease on my lids for the whole day (I use the one from Too Faced). :)

NOTD : Painted Lace on Plink

Hey everyone!

I was bored a few days ago and thought of painting my nails. It's been a while since I added other details that's not just dots. I thought of doing a "lace" effect without using real laces... and here's the result:

It's kind of a failure. Every nail looks different than the other. I think the only nice looking one is on the nail on the index finger.

But if you look at it faraway, it still looks decent. It looks so sweet and girly all thanks to the base color, Girl Stuff in Plink.

 These are all the products I used on this NOTD.

And that's it. What do you think of my attempt? Have you tried doing something like this?

Unboxing: Glamourbox Flawless Beauty Box (August 2014)

Hey everyone!

My Glamourbox for the month arrived today.

I was curious about the "Flawless Beauty" box because... well, I want my face to clear up from my acne problems and thought that maybe the box would contain an anti-acne skincare products or a foundation or concealer makeup. Either way is a win for me.

And that's all. To be honest, I'm not jumping up and down with joy with this one... I guess I do like a couple of the products but I probably just expected better. I mean, I got more than the amount I paid but I've already tried most of the items included and I didn't really like some of them. But I really appreciate that most of the stuff included are full-size! I do think this is a good box it's just that I already tried half of the products included. :P

I still paid for another box so hopefully the next one is better. I already feel like I am cursed when it comes to subscription boxes... I don't seem to get the really good ones I see from other blogs. LOL Oh well. :P
