Hi dearies!

I'm growing fond of small packaging, specially now that I realized how heavy my travel bag usually is! Hahaha! I always want my travel essentials to be complete because I easily worry whenever I forget to bring something and that includes my makeup (gotta look pretty for the travel pics!). So I really appreciate it when makeup brands have smaller versions so that it is easier to carry around. That's what made me check out Chihuahua cosmetics.

Chihuahua Cosmetics Creme Lipstick in Penelope

Their shade selection isn't very wide yet compared to most brands in the market and the shades they have are mostly colors that I already have. It's understandable that the shades they first produce are those that most people would wear. But Penelope is a shade that's wearable, and surprisingly, I don't have yet, and that is why I was drawn to it and why I wanted to get my hands on it.

If you're not familiar with Chihuahua Cosmetics, it's a makeup line that's unique for their mini-sized cosmetics.

A tube costs PhP 159.00.

The package design is simple. I like the chosen font and the overall material of the tube. It's simple and classy-looking.

The lipstick only carries 1.5g so don't expect a thick and long lipstick bullet. If I use this everyday + retouch, I can probably finish this in less than 2 months (or a month actually). Which is actually a good thing for people like me who loves to try new colors. I rarely finish a tube before it expires. Haha!

I love the shade of Penelope! It's a rose pink shade that's just compliments my skin tone well. I think it would look good in most skin tones!

On my lips

The lipstick is very pigmented and you don't need to swipe it over and over to get this color payout. It's creamy and smooth and non-drying. I also love the sweet, vanilla scent!

Overall, I really like the shade and Penelope is a great everyday lipstick because it looks sophisticated for the office, fun and beautiful for any girls day out, and sweet and romantic for a weekend date!
