Chihuahua Cosmetics Blush Swatches — Apple Crisp, Sunset, and Salmon

Hello dearies!

It's been five months since I learned about Chihuahua Cosmetics and I was fortunate enough that I was able to try most of their products when I attended the BDJ x Project Vanity event. What I liked about the brand is that their products are smaller. Some may find this as a disadvantage, but I've noticed that many of us can't really finish some makeup before it expires. That's the case especially with people who are makeup enthusiasts that love to try new, popular products like me.

Another awesome thing about Chihuahua Cosmetics is that since it is small, it's travel-friendly. It doesn't consume so much space inside your bag. That's why I prefer carrying their blushes with me when I go out. I currently have three of them...

The shades are Apple Crisp, Salmon, and Sunset.

It's PhP 259.00 only and holds 3.6 grams.

I got each shade in a different way. I bought "Sunset" because I really liked the color. The shade "Salmon" I was able to receive as a prize when I played the Pachinko game at their stall during the event. "Apple Crisp" was included in the media kit I took home after the event.

I took a photo of the swatches I made last February during the event:

Apple Crisp, Dusty Pink, Sunset, and Salmon

I like the simple package design. The name, however, makes me think of something cute so I wasn't expecting a black and white packaging. I like that it's simple and sophisticated at the same time.

Here's the product details from the labels:

Product info from BeautyMNL:

CLAIM TO FAME: A mini powder blush

FAST FACTS: Creates the perfect flush with lightweight formula; formulated with vitamin E and petroleum jelly to keep skin well-hydrated throughout the day; locks in moisture to prevent dryness; protects against environmental aggressors; cruelty and paraben-free

PERFECT FOR: A youthful flush

And now for the swatches...

The blushes are all pigmented and glides smoothly when swatched. It's not powdery too which is great.

Apple Crisp is a rose shade. It's like the kind of red that Snow White's cheeks would have been.

Salmon is a warm peachy shade. I often use this blush during the summer and I paired it with a bronzer to achieve a soft flush while rocking a bronzy glow.

And Sunset is a peachy pink shade. It reminds me of the popular NARS Orgasm blush. It's easily my favorite shade among the three.

I really like all three shades and I'm satisfied with the quality of these blushes. Each shade has a different character and I can play with them depending on my mood.

I barely get to finish a blush and I'm hopeful that I get to finish these smaller blushes. Actually emptying makeup feels like a big accomplishment for me! Haha! Since I use these shades a lot, I might be able to accomplish my goal to finish this! Wooot!

So what do you think of these Chihuahua Cosmetics blushes? Which one is your favorit?

Cheers,
DAWN
