Lorac Front of the Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner in Navy

Hey loves!

Just a few months ago, I got a lovely package from my best friend containing some pretty things, and yes, they are makeup! Haha! One of the items inside is the...

Lorac Front of the Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner in Navy

Some months back I told my friend how much I loved my Lorac MegaPRO palette and that I would like to try more products from the brand. I've bought a few and so far I liked most of it and the palette is still a favorite of mine.

I'm so touched that she remembered and got me this eyeliner and I'm even happier that it wasn't the usual black color. I'm interested in getting more colored pen liners lately.

But before I show you the swatch of this, let's get to know the product by reading the labels on the box:

More info from the website:
This long-wearing, no-smudge, no-budge, water-resistant liquid liner boasts a unique automatic delivery system that provides a clean, precise application. The flexible tip provides ultimate control, accuracy and smooth strokes, so you’ll never miss your lines. From very fine to dramatically bold, this versatile PRO will take you to the front of the line every time!

It's available in 4 shades—Black, Charcoal, Dark Brown, and Navy. A pen is around $23.00.

I'm loving this packaging. It looks classy. I like that the design is simple, but the metallic finish makes it look clean and sleek.

It's equipped with a brush that's so easy to use. It's not too stiff and it dispenses the right amount of product so application is so easy.

Here's the swatch.

I love the blue of this. It's dark enough to define the shape of your eyes, but blue enough to add character to your makeup look.

I tried testing the staying power. The photo above is when I rub the swatches lightly. I didn't encounter much smudging, just a bit if fading.

I dropped some water on it and I see that it's not waterproof. Some of the pigments are smudging.

When smudged while wet.

It gets removed when exposed to water, especially when you add pressure like with your hands. Unfortunately, even when I wear primer and powder eyeshadow, I noticed that this product can smudge. Although it doesn't happen often. Usually when I'm outside sweating with my oily skin.

Anyway, here's how it looks when I wear it:

I sometimes wear a black eyeliner below it...

Although I would appreciate it more if this product were waterproof. But the pros outweighs the cons and I really like using this. I just make sure that I will stay in a cool and dry place just so my eye makeup will not get ruined. Haha!

And that's my short post about the Lorac Front of the Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner in Navy! What do you think of colored eyeliners?

  1. I love the shade that you got, Dawn! I mean it still looks like it's wearable everyday even though it's not the usual black or brown. I'd love colored eyeliners like that. Although I have a few which came in a bit bolder color, I only wear it on specific occasions.

    1. Yeah! I wear it to the office too. I'd like to get more colors to add to my collection.
