I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to post much on the blog even though I wanted to. But for today, I reserved a few minutes just to share one of my favorite products to use...

Lunasol Skin Contrast Face Powder in 01 Glow

Bought this for PhP 2,499.00... yeah, it's... pretty expensive... for my budget...

There's a packaging of this product with the powder tub and the puff applicator but I settled with just this (it's just a plastic jar with the powder). I already find the product expensive and I wasn't willing to spend more for the whole "equipment." I still like using a brush when applying my powder anyway.

I got the shade Glow. What I like about it is that it has very fine shimmers that really gives your skin a beautiful glow! You'll see why on the swatch later in this post.

It is available in two shades—Glow and Natural.

First off, even without the tub and puff, the packaging is still pretty good. It's a clear plastic jar with a brown (with tiny shimmers) cap. It looks simple and classy. I don't remember why I have this instead of the usual shorter yet wider tub equipped with an applicator... I think this is like a refill? Anyway, when you see that tub that the product usually comes in, you'll see that it looks very elegant.

This is only 15g (and I'm almost finished with mine... it took me a while because I save it for special occasions or days when I wanna be a "wittol-bit-pwittier!" Hahaha!

This powder is probably the softest, smoothest powder that I've ever tried so far. And I've used like a dozen of them. When I was in the Lunasol counter in Rustans, I wouldn't even think of buying it because I know Lunasol is pretty expensive. But when my sister tried out their tester, we were so amazed at how silky it felt on skin!

The powder was so fine and it even gives a subtle glow. See the swatch below when I blend it on skin.

It's translucent but it does have that very, very, VERY fine shimmer that gives a subtle glow on skin. The product description stating that it adds a "translucent veil" perfectly describes it. It doesn't look like you add something on your skin but your skin just looks better—more radiant! I don't know how else to describe it, but this is surely one of the products I bought that I really enjoyed using. I use it as setting powder and it helps prolong makeup and helps control oil. 

This is easily one of the best (if not THE best) face powder that I have tried (so far). I love how lightweight it is, how natural it looks, the glow it gives, EVERYTHING! Well, except the expensive price. Haha!
